“It’s such a delightful dinner.” mom smiled with glee “Don’t you agree?”

“Of course.” dad nods

“Wonderful.” Kris agreed

“Terrific.” I rolled my eyes and mom shot me a look

“Well, I guess you won’t be joining us tomorrow for lunch.” mom said casually

“No, sorry mom.” I mumbled

“How long are you going to be here?” Kris asks

“We’re leaving after lunch for Tokyo.”

“I see, business trip.” Kris nods

“Yes.”

“Well, I’m looking forward to meet the two of you again.” Kris bows “Good night Mr and Mrs.Park.”

“Goodnight.” both of my parents walks into a car and disappeared out of sight

“You’re looking forward to meet them again?”

“What? They weren’t that bad.” I gave him a look “Okay, she judges a person a lot.”

“Tell me about it.” I sigh in relief “I’m glad their leaving soon, I can’t party with them around.” Kris looks at me and crosses his arms “What?”

“Don’t drink.”

“Why not?” I pouted

“Last time you drink, you got into a car accident.” he stated

“But that was because I drank while driving.”

“Still the same if you drove while you’re drunk Kylie.”

“I can’t promise you that.”

“Fine, then the most is 3 but that’s it.”

“Why?” I whined

“Promise me that.”

“Three times won’t cut it, I won’t even get drunk at 5.”

“That’s the point.” he looks at me

“Sorry but no.”

“No smoking, no drinks more than 3 times a day aka three glass.”

“And why should I agree to that?” I crossed my arms

“Because you owe me a lot and one of the way to repay me is to agree, I’m not even asking much Kylie. You’re my best friend and you’re still young, don’t waste your life like this.” his voice was soft

“I…” damn all those debts “Fine.” I muttered

“Say it in a way that you actually mean it.”

“Fine, I won’t smoke anymore and I won’t drink more than three NORMAL glass.” I turned away from him

“Kylie…” he calls out “I’m doing this for you.” he turns me around and held my shoulder “Maybe you won’t thank me someday but it’s for your own sake, trust me.”

“You know I can’t stay mad at you.” I sigh deeply

“Because I am a good cook?”

“Well yes, because you’re the one who provides me food, you live under the same roof as I am and we’re best friend. I can’t live without my best friend.” I gave him a small smile

”Good to know. Shall we go home now?”

“Yes, I am exhausted.” I groaned and stepped inside the car

Kylie was fast asleep inside the car, Kris parked in his usual lot and smiled at her sleeping figure. They live in an exclusive condo, there wouldn’t be many people around like the usual ones. He opens the door and slips and arm under her legs and back before shutting the door with his back. He casually walks inside the main lobby and every head turns to them. Kris returned their looks with a calm smile and managed to get into the elevator.

“You’re not that heavy.” Kris chuckles

Once he arrived at the right floor, he swipes the card and entered; closing the door after. Kris got into Kylie’s room and laid her gently on the bed; taking off her shoes and untying her hair. As much as he knows she wouldn’t be comfortable with wearing a long satin dress to sleep, he didn’t want to take off her clothes without her permission, he was just not that kind of guy.

“Good night Kylie.” he places his lips softly on her forehead and smiled; leaving the room and shutting the door behind him

It was finally morning, I rolled around in bed to find myself in a limited space of not being able to move my legs that much. My eyes shot open to see myself still in the same dress I wore last night. Okay, last thing I remembered I was in the car and I swear I was not drunk. How did I get up here? After showering, I head into the kitchen to see Kris fixing up breakfast.
