This Is Us
“Take care of yourself.” Kris ruffles my hair
“I’m not a little kid, did you forgot I’m 20?” I scoffed
“Keep telling yourself that.” he winks
“How long are you gonna be there again?”
“Around 2 weeks or so.” he shrugs
“WHAT?” my eyes almost popped out of its sockets
He chuckles “Why?”
“Why? You’re asking me WHY? Are you freaking kidding me?”
“Yes I am.” he grinned
“Bastard.” I smack his arm
“What? Missing me already?”
“When will you be back you giant idiot?” I crossed my arms
“I won’t be there more than a week that’s for sure.” he answers “Better?”
“No.”
“Passengers to Flight…”
“Looks like they’re calling me.” Kris smiled “I’ll see you within a week.”
“Sure.” I rolled my eyes, I paused “I’m going to the club after this.”
He looks at me “Don’t break your promise on me.”
I look at him in the eyes and nod “I won’t.”
“Good, I’m leaving. Bye.” he waved and disappeared down the escalator
He let me borrowed his car until I get mine which would be around less than 2 weeks I think. I promised not to get it crashed or anything, seriously. I can’t mess with a car that costs millions. Does it cost millions? Okay in some countries it does right? So yeah. Well this, time I’m promising not to get drunk. I drove the car carefully to my usual club and it doesn’t look like anything has changed.
“Been a long time since we’ve seen you Ms.Kylie.” the guard smiled at me
“Happy to see me now aren’t you?” I smiled back
“You give good tips.”
“Well here you go.” I slip a few cash into his palm
“Enjoy your night.” he opens the door for me
Yep, nothing changed. People are still everywhere and exclusive clubs don’t let drunk people run around so you won’t see vomit on the floor or anything. I enjoy the life of partying around with no things to care like it’s nobody’s business. Who would want cluttered minds and messy life?
“Haven’t seen you around here much anymore.” the bartender flashes a smile
“Life caught up on me.” I shrugged
“Not going to the dance floor?”
“Maybe later, can I have my usual?”
“Extra?”
“Tone it down a bit.” I answered and he returns with a surprised look “Made a promise.”
“You don’t seem like much of a promise-maker.” he chuckles
“Yeah, I can’t deny that.”
“Well then, here you go. Enjoy your drink.” he winked and pushes the glass towards me
“Thanks.” I nod
10 minutes of drinking down exactly three glasses; I got up and head to the dance floor. It’s been a while and not once have I been away from a club this long. I run my fingers through my hair and started moving my hips. It would’ve been more fun if I get a little light headed and stuff but I promised.
