“Enjoy your meal.” the waitress smiled as she placed down the plates

“When was the last time you went back home?” Kylie asks

“Home as in?”

“In Canada.”

“You know Seoul is my home too.” he smiled “I have a house in California and my family’s mansion is up there too. We have one in Canada and another in Guangzhou.”

“I never keep track of my houses.” she shrugs

“Why not?”

“Painful memories.” she mumbled

“I’m sorry for asking…”

“It’s fine.” she shakes her head

“Kris.” a man and a woman in their early 30’s walks up to them

“Mei, Steve.” Kris smiled

“So, no wonder I heard you adding another passenger on the flight.” Mei smirked

“Yeah, we kept wondering who since you showed up alone in the meeting.” Steve chuckles “And you are?”

“Kylie Park.” she shook hands with both of them

“Kris’ girlfriend I presume?”

“Oh, no, no, we’re close friends. I’m here on vacation.” Kylie laughs and smiled

“I see.” Mei and Steve exchange glances

“Would you like to join us for breakfast?”

The four talked throughout breakfast until it was time for Kris to leave for his meeting. Mei and Steve left first for preparation while Kris walked Kylie to the elevator.

“Hey, I’ll be working today but we’ll go on some tours tomorrow. What do you say?” he asks

“Awesome.” Kylie grinned “Have fun.”

He rolls his eyes “Sure, we have all the ‘fun’ stuffs in there.”

“Well then, good luck.”

“Thanks.” he flashes a smile and Kylie stepped into the elevator

The door opened and Kris walks in; placing his suitcase on the couch and loosening his tie around his collar as he drops himself on the bed.

“So.” Kylie walks up to him and plops herself on the bed; lying flat on her stomach as she looks at him “How was the meeting?”

“Tiring.” he mumbled

“That doesn’t sound like fun.” she pursed her lips and he scoffed

“Of course not.”

“Are you not gonna take a shower?”

He opens an eye and closes them again “What? Afraid of sleeping on the same bed if I don’t?”

“Not really, I was just wondering.” she shrugs “Wouldn’t you be fresh up if you do?”

“You’re starting to make point.”

Kylie scoffed “What? Is this the first time that I do?” she tried to push him off

“It’s not gonna work, physically, mentally and in every way, I am bigger than you so don’t even try.” he mumbled with his eyes shut

“You do know that sounded slightly dirty don’t you?” Kylie pointed out

“What do you want me to reply to that? It’s possibly, without a doubt, true.”

“Well I’m not going to ask further of that statement you just confessed. Anyway, where are we heading tomorrow?”

“Jurong Bird Park.”

“Speaking of birds…” Kylie leans closer and sniffed Kris

“Uhh, what are you doing?” he gave a weird look

“You don’t smell like them.” she gave a goofy smile

“Well that doesn’t surprise me.” he snorts
