CL’s POV

‘Chaerin, you look so pretty, have fun with your dinner later okay?’ Bom smiled, as she stopped by my house before she went home.

‘WAIT!’ I yelled, ‘I’m…going to break up with Daniel,’ I said.

‘Why?’ Bom asked me shocked, ‘I thought you were happy with him,’

‘How can I be happy with him when I saw my first love again?’ I said.

‘I thought you got over Jiyong?’ Bom asked me, closing the door.

‘I thought I did…but when I saw him my feelings came back,’ I smiled weakly, ‘I saw this necklace again and I just realized I can’t lose him,’ I continued, taking the locket from my pocket.

Yes, I kept it with me the whole day, in the spa also at the salon.

‘Really?’ Bom smiled, ‘If you love Jiyong I can’t do anything about it, follow your heart,’ she said.

‘Yeah, follow your heart,’ I replied, turning around to look at the letter, Juliet replied to me. I put in a frame displaying it.

‘Goodluck and anyways I think Jiyong still has feelings for you,’ Bom winking, ‘Now I have to go, Jinae and Dongmin must be waiting,’

‘Okay, I’ll just talk to you tomorrow okay?’ I replied, taking a seat on the sofa.

I looked at my phone, oh it’s nearly time for Daniel to pick me up. I dialed his number.

‘Hello baby? Danial answered.

‘Where are you?’ I asked.

‘I’m still at work, change of plans dinner will be one hour late,’ he said.

‘Can you come here now? I have something urgent to tell you,’ I replied, trying not to show the sadness in my voice.

Yeah I wanted to be with Jiyong, but I felt guilty for having to break up with Daniel, but like Juliet said follow your heart. And this is what my heart is telling me to do.

‘Umm…I’m kinda busy but I’ll come to your house now okay? Just wait for awhile, Love you. ‘ Daniel said.

‘See you,’ I replied, hanging up.

I went to my kitchen looking for some comfort food, what I’m about to do is really hard for me. I took my other favourite macaroons which Bom bought for me. I took the whole container to the coach, as I munched on my favourite flavor pistachio.

*ding dong*

Oh no he’s here, I quickly got up, still holding my macaroons as I unlocked the door for him to come in.

‘Hello baby,’ Daniel greeted me, when I opened my door.

He was about to lean in for kiss, but instead I quickly moved the macaroon infront of my mouth before he could.

‘Hey!’ Daniel exclaimed.

‘I need to talk to you...’ I said looking down as I walked to my macaroons.

‘You wanna break up?’ Daniel asked me.

‘U-umm, how did you know?’ I questioned confused.

‘Well it’s kinda obvious for your tone in your voice plus I saw how you looked at the guy when he arrived at the party,’ Daniel said faking a laugh, ‘Is he the guy you longed for?’

‘That’s not it,’ I began.

‘No it’s okay you can tell me,’ Daniel said.

‘Yeah…he’s Jiyong, the one I’ve loved. I thought I got over him but it seems like I haven’t,’ I replied.

‘Wow...he must be a lucky bastard,’ he said, ‘He goes hurts your friend, goes to rehab and you haven’t seen him for  years and yet you still love him.’

‘I never told you those things,’ I said in shock.

‘Your friend’s husband told me everything, Seunghyun?’ he said.

‘Oh him, actually he is Jiyong’s brother,’ I informed him.

‘Well, Jiyong is lucky to have a person like you to love him, goodbye Chaerin,’ Daniel said, caressing my cheek.

‘I’m so sorry…’ I cried.

‘Sshhh, if I love you then I will let you be happy, let’s just be friends okay?’ Daniel said wiping away my tear, ‘Now go and get your love back,’

‘Thank you oppa,’ I smiled, hugging him.
