The lovely young couple were having a picnic by the river as they enjoyed the summer breeze. They were lying on their backs with their eyes closed, having the rays of the sun hitting on their youthful faces as they were holding hands.

The young boy turned his face to look at the beautiful lady that was at his side. He was looking at her like he was looking at an angel. She was just breathtaking. They were only teenagers, but he knew, since the first time he met her, that he wanted to marry this beauty and spend the rest of his life with her. That's how much he loved her. He was only 17 years old and she was only 15, but he didn't care. He felt lucky to have met someone like her. She was someone with a cheerful and loving personality, attractive features and in the overall she was talented. She was a pure artist.

‘Perfection’

To him, she was perfection.

The innocence that was radiating around her made him want to protect her and that since he saw her cry for the first time, on this same day, 11 years ago. They were playing around when she saw a bird with a broken wing, struggling to fly away. Seeing this little creature in pain, made her tear up. When he saw those tears staining her pink cheeks, he wiped them away and reassured her that they will help this little bird get better, together. As days went by, they helped the little bird get better and by the time this bird was completely healed, they had already named it and made him become their official pet.

This was the day their life would change. He met his soul mate and even though he was only a toddler back then, he knew that this girl, to whom he was holding her hand while she was looking at the bird flying away, would be his. No matter how long it would take, he was one hundred percent sure that she will be his because he was convinced that they belonged to each other.

She thought the same. When she felt his touch on her wet cheek and looking through his dark eyes, being only four years old, she didn't know what she was feeling, but she felt her heartbeat increase, as there was a sudden blush that was appearing on her cheeks.

Young Love. Pure. Innocent. Naïve.

Their parents found it adorable that their children were walking around pretending to be a married couple while taking care of their little pet like it was their baby.

Those were the good times.

When both of them were too innocent to realize the coldness of the world they were living in. Unfortunately, they would find out the hard way to how harsh and cruel it is to be living on this planet.

And today, she was his and he wasn't going to let her go. He was still looking at her when she turned her face around with a smile on her face

“Seonyul-ah~”

“Hmm?”

“I love you”

“I love you too, Byunghee-ah”

“Forever & always?”

“Forever & always.”

She leans closer and kisses him on the cheek, earning a grin from her boyfriend. She rearranged her position so that now she could be in his embrace while she placed her head on his chest, feeling his heart beating at a crazy pace, a sensation that made her chuckle.

“What is it?”

“Your heart~”

“I know.” She looks up at him as he was smiling with his eyes closed. “All because of you, my angel.”

“Can you sing to me?”

“What song?”

“Anything”

He takes a deep breath and starts singing a sweet melody, a song that represented what he felt for his love.

Care Free.

Every word that would come out of his soft voice was just another reminder of the way his sweetheart was making him feel.

Nothing in the world could just show the amount of love he was willing to give to her.

Nothing in the world could just explain that without her, he was incomplete.

They were young and in love.

They lived with no worries and knew no pain.

They only lived for one another, as they only loved each other.
