Chapter 20: sunflower

That night they ate to their favorite ahjumma restaurant, they talk about everything, although they often argue at little things, those arguments makes their bond a lot stronger, who would have thought that those three’s were not related at all? But their every laugh seems like they all known each other for too long, even though  Yuri only knew those for more than two years.

It’s been two years since she was found by Changmin, it’s been two years since she was accepted by Yoochun, and she’s more than willing to spend another two years and more with these two best idiots and family she have, she never wish for those memories to comeback, she feel so contented on what she have at this moment, who she with and together with all the memories that she everyday created.

She wanted no more.

She wish no more.

When his driver loaded his things inside the compartment, Jaejoong grab the car keys of his silver convertible and speed off, the driver just shrug at his actions, he is still his boss no matter how inconsiderate he is. He just rode the taxi in his way home.

Jaejoong has only thing in his mind, he wanted to see Yuri, so badly, ask for her forgiveness, telling her that he was wrong all along, regretful that he accused her, that he mistreated her, wrong that he misunderstand her.

He stopped at the flower shop, he brought her favorite flower, sunflower, the owner was so glad to see him again, she praise how he change physically, the owner  will never failed to remember her almost daily costumer,

“It’s been more than two years right since I last saw you?” the woman asked, Jaejoong nod, he picked up a fresh sunflower and smell it, the owner can’t help but to comment again,

“You always bought red roses to the girls that you dated, but you only bought sunflower  if it’s for her right? That girls who always comes with you, who I thought once couldn’t speak,” Jaejoong laught at that remarks, she remembers how other people thought that Yuri is mute.

“You’re right she rarely talk, but she’s talkative when we are together,” Jaejoong smilingly replied, defending Yuri’s behavior

“I know some people are talkative every time they are with the person that they cherish,” she agreed with him,” so where have you been,  I thought you happened to see a different flower shop a lot better than mine,” she said feeling a little disturbed.

“that’s not true, you’re will always be the best, I mean my dating and courting career depends on the flowers that I bought from you, I was just abroad, studying and I came back today,,” he answered

“O I see that explains it, so are you with her on those two year?” she curiously asked, she’s always been a fan of the two, she knows that one this man will look at the girl like how the girl look at him, one day he will realize it , that he need not to look at other woman, because the perfect one is always with him.

He sway his head in regret, disappointment written in his face he feels so nervous that what if Yuri reject him today? She never answered his call or emailed him on the past two years,  he was forbidden to go back home,  his passport was confiscated by his father, he  made a deal with him when he asked for their forgiveness, he made a mistake big time, he was wrong when he chose Jessica, he was blinded by that so called love, ,thanks God In just a matter of months of being together he saw her true color, she’s a nagger she pester at any simple things, she easily get annoyed, she’s materialistic, she wanted everything and if she like something she will force Jaejoong to buy it for her, since his parents cut his allowance when he chose to stay with her, he learned to stand on his own, he worked on different jobs, leaving Jessica relaxing at home, feeling like a princess,  for the first time the second son of the Kim Company learns to bow to ordinary people in order to earns a small amount of money, the used to be I can have everything son of the Kim loses everything in order to be with the person that he love

That’s the meaning of love for him that time, but when Jessica learned that Jaejoong was disowned by his parents,  and there is no chance that she will be accepted, she’s gone  mad and that’s the start of daily fight, she revolt on him, she secretly dated some guys who can give her what she wanted and because of Jaejoong concern friends it’s not too late before he found out that she is cheating on him.

And that’s the end of their fairytale, Jaejoong wake up from that he now called nightmare, then he realize that he mistaken and accused Yuri.

He seek for his father forgiveness who went to New York that time, he said that he wanted to go home, but he forbid him too, in order to win his trust and to gain the Kim’s surname back, he wants him to worked hard for it. He gave him two years to worked under their company in New York, prove him that he feels sorry, prove him that he is worth the second chance.

That’s what Jaejoong knows, but the truth his father wanted delay his flight back in Korea, he doesn’t want his son to be involve on the Jung’s family’s mess,

And what if he knows that Yuri was missing? The reason why he lowered his pride is because of that Jung’s illegitimate daughter, what if he found out that she is gone and no one knows where the part of the earth she lives, he didn’t desire his son to be or look miserable in searching for her feeling guilty that he’s one of the reasons.

“How much?” Jaejoong asked , the lady smile at him

“it’s for free, I haven’t seen that lady since you stopped coming here,  I know in her heart she will forgive you once she see that and her your sincere apology,” she encourage him.

Jaejoong smile at bow at her, thinking that hope too.
