No one's Pov

They reached Sunggyu and Woohyun's large home without any extra words exchanged between them. The car ride was more thn just quite, it was of a deadly quiet. It wasn't awkward but rather frustrating on Kyuhyun's half; not knowing the reason why he had to leave school. Not really minding whn it came to those boring lessons from one Mr Park and Mr Kang but he shouldn't miss it.

He could hear footsteps get louder from inside the house as they stood outside the front door. Green grass and colourful tulips covered the driveway of their home. He nervously looked around, tapping his feet in time with a random song in his head. Some reason it landed on DBSK's 'Love In The Ice'. His eyes did whatever they could to ignore the bright red door but it was no use. Why was he so nervous? He didn't know himself. Woohyun and him had mt before many times so why was today any different. Maybe because this time it was him who was he one in danger. The door opened and was greeted by a smiling Woohyun in a loose white shirt tucked in neatly and indigo coloured jeans.

"Welcome!" He greeted with arms flared opened as if wanting a hug. Kyuhyun bowed a full 90 degrees, earning a pout from the older.

“Good morning Woohyun hyung.” He gretted with his sickeningly sweet voice. Polite was more than what Kyuhyun was but Woohyun didnt like that whn it came to outsde of work. After all, they were close friends even if they were a hyung and dongsaeng.

"You don’t have to be so formal you know!" Woohyun ushered his lover and Kyuhyun inside, opting to stay with Sunggyu behind Kyuhyun rather than next to him. He held Sunggyu’s held tightly, wrapping his arm around Sunggyu’s waist, missing the feeling of the other beside him. It had been a could of days since he's been with Sunggyu for his touchiness was to be expected. However, Sunggyu felt a bit annoyed, knowing Woohyun was an attention craver but not now; not in front of Kyuhyun. Smacking his lover’s hand away, he gave a piercing scold with his eyes. Kyuhyun took off his shoes before walking to the living room and sighed, seeing that two suitcases full of his things were already in the middle of the lounge. How they might have gotten his stuff and packed it in a suitcase he didn’t know but for now he didn’t feel the need to question it. He turned around with folded arms, pouting at the couple now in front of him.

"Explain." One word was enough to make Sunggyu and Woohyun fear for their lives. Both of them had to admit Kyuhyun was scary at times, especially adding he was an assassin. Knowing how Kyuhyun hated secrets, he gave in. Woohyun adverted his eyes, not wanting to look into Kyuhyun’s.

"Don't you dare try lie as well. You might be a detective and poilceman but I know you very well and adding my training, I can read you like an open book." Sunggyu gulped before saying his next words.

"Promise me you won't get angry or upset." He put his hands up as if Kyuhyun was holding a gun at him and walked two steps closer to the younger. Woohyun was right behind his lover, knowing Sunggyu was better at handling these types of situations that himself. Besides, they have known each other since younger. It wouldn’t be right to walk into something that he shouldn’t be. He prayed Kyuhyun would understand why they had to do this and on such quick notice.

"I can't promise anything." He sho0ok his head from side to side.

"You have to! Otherwise I can't tell you." With his arms still folded, Kyuhyun closed his eyes and shook his head. Contemplating whether to stay strong or give in. He opted for the latter.

"Fine, I promise. Now tell me." The love thirds exchanged weary looks to each other before focusing back to Kyuhyun. Their looks gave Kyuhyun a little slightly worried feeling that piled up in his stomach. He felt the need to throw up from all this nervousness he was feeling, having kept most of it from previous missions but he didn't know what it really was. It was a foreign feeling that rare happened. He hated it so much. It felt like it was all coming out.

"Well, that man who attacked you is part of an underground smuggling group. We've gotten information from an underground informat that they deal with drugs, trafficking of humans and animals, illegal counterfeit items, tobacco and other stuff we have yet to find out. I have been informed that your family might be their next victim listed on their 'to kill' list that could be a danger to any of their works. You, your mother, father and older sister are not safe s of this hour. The three of them will be transported to a private facility where they will be protected 24/7. We, well me and Woohyun think this might have something to do with your teacher, Kim-ssi but we don't have any solid leads. Because of your job and involvement in the case, we decided to let you stay with us rather than a private facility. Also, you would have been boarded up and kept on surveillance so we battled hard to let you stay here! We know this might come as a shock but with your father being who he is, we need to do everything to protect him and his family safe. With you being the direct heir to his fortune..."  He interjected before Sunggyu finished.

"I must be kept safe from those people. Don't worry, I understand." Kyuhyun loosened his arms, letting them fall beside him. His eyes closed, he took a deep breath. He knew it would come sooner or later. His family background wasn't very well hidden, more or less everyone in the county of South Korea knows his father but they don't know Kyuhyun. Unlike his sister, his birth was kept hidden from the media for security purposes but it seemedthat didn't help much. His past, present and future would soon catch up to him.

"Thank you for being so understanding." Sunggyu pulled Kyuhyun in for a hug, tightening his hold. Kyuhyun returned the hug but only lightly wrapping his arms around the older's waist.

"You said a week right? A week of no school… Does it mean my family would be kept under inspection for a week?"

"Actually... I kinda blurted that out... It might be a bit longer before you are able to go to school. That man you talked about who attacked you a few minutes ago shows that we have to keep you even closer. There's a possibility I have to report this and request for a strengthening of security around your family." Kyuhyun sighed again. This was a never ending frustrating story for him.

“Fine.” He turned around and rolled his suitcase to the staircase. Acting quickly, Woohyun ran over to grab the suitcases from Kyuhyun and brought it upstairs. Kyuhyun muttered a small ’thank you’ before following the other to his room for the next couple of weeks. Woohyun allowed him to relax for a bit, leaving Kyuhyun on his own for a bit. Dropping down on the double bed, he looked at the ceiling. It had become a habit for god knows how long whenever he had nothing to do or was in deep thought. Unlike his normal ceiling consisting of a hand painted sky with white fluffy clouds, they were of a boring cream. Nothing was going right today. Rolling off the bed, he accidentally fell on the floor with aloud thump, not realising how much it would hurt.

“Ouch…shouldn’t have done that…” He crawled over to his two suitcases and opened them both. Throwing clothes and books all over the floor he began to feel frustrated.

“Where is it..?” Standing up, he looked over at the now messy room. Not able to pinpoint what he was looking for, he ran his hand roughly through his hair. That was when he noticed.

“Oh… I didn’t bring my school bag home…”

Changmin looked at the medium sized device. He hadn’t noticed Kyuhyun didn’t come back to class until 10 minutes of waiting for him while doing the work Yunho set the class. Leaving all of his text books and mini IPad, Changmin thought it was strange. Especially since it was one of Kyuhyun's so called 'babies'. He held it tightly in his hand, turning it around and inspecting every part of the device.

“If you keep staring at that, you’re going to turn into one of those.” Yunho pointed at the mini IPad with a spatula. He was wearing a white apron with pink lace around it. The younger eyed the apron, thinking when Yunho brought something like that. Changmin gave a small scoff and stood up from his bed. Walking over to Yunho, he couldn’t help but think about Kyuhyun.

“Ah! No electronics at the dinner table!” He stopped the younger. Changmin gave him the ‘Are you serious look?’ while Yunho equally shot back ‘Try me and you’ll see if I’m serious or not’ before Changmin finally gave in. With a sigh, he threw the device on his bed, bouncing a bit before lying perfectly still on the bed. Yunho had already gone back to the kitchen to finish cooking dinner.

“So childish.” He muttered in hushed tones.

“WHAT DID YOU SAY?!” Yunho shouted hearing perfectly what his brother said.

“Damn his falcon hearing! NOTHING!” He shouted the last part, running over to the dinner table as Yunho just plated the last dish and settled it on the glass table. Mouth-watering with the food set out in front of him, he thanked the chef and dug in. Yunho couldn’t help but laugh at his little brother, watching him stuff his mouth before finally digging in. He swallowed his food, looking down at the half eaten bowl of rice.

“Hyung…”

“Hmm?” Yunho hummed, not stopping eating.

“Have you heard anything from Kyuhyun yet?” The older shook his head, finishing what he had left in his mouth.

“I’m sure he’ll be fine. Don’t worry about him.” He tried to reassure Changmin but he knew his brother was already filled with worry. To be honest, he couldn’t stop thinking about Kyuhyun as well. Not having him in class did bring downer to his day. What worried him more was that he left without a single word. He was panicking himself but he had to make sure Changmin was ok rather than himself. It was easy to distract himself but Changmin was different. That boy wouldn’t stop being a worrywart.

“I know... It’s just that he would never leave anything behind and he would never leave without telling us first.” Yunho put his chopsticks down and ruffled the younger’s hair.

“Don’t worry Minnie, he’ll be fine.” Changmin sighed but took his older brother’s word for it. He knew he shouldn’t panic and that Kyuhyun would be ok but his heart ached. He hated being far away from the other, never mind not knowing his whereabouts. With a heavy heart, he continued to eat.

With dinner done, he went back to his room and quickly swiped the mini IPad off his bed. He switched it on and unlocked the password. For security purposes, Changmin and Yunho knew the passwords to work gadgets. Of course those outside of work had different passwords without Changmin and Yunho knowing but that could be confusing at times. Changmin had a headache sorting out Kyuhyun’s gadgets to figure out which ones he could search through, he was lucky this was one of them.

Without the need to even pen a page, it had already been on an opened page. The notes read:

• Ms Kim – Deceased (Real name, unknown)
• Strange assassin – Breach in security at interrogation building?
• Killing for a reason?
• Detective Lee – Weird connection?
• Must research further

“Killing for a reason?” Changmin found it strange. Reading those words over and over again, his eyes widened in shock. What is Kyuhyun not telling us?

“HYUNG!”

OMG! Apparently Kara's Jiyoung is in London to study in UNI!! I can't believe it I wonder wich uni it is xD I live in London so I'm kinda hoping to see her around or something xD
