“have some mac ‘n cheese while you’re at it.”

soojung glances up, only to receive a comforting look from her boyfriend, luhan. she murmurs a sincere thanks before diverting her attention back to the project she’s been working on since the sun was up. the deadline is set tomorrow and she’s barely started on anything.

“eat it while it’s still hot,” luhan reminds her as he plops down the couch right across.

“yeah, i will,” soojung says distractedly.

luhan chuckles because he knows she’ll forget about it sooner or later anyway.

it's already five in the afternoon and luhan has probably seen three american movies—which he didn’t understand by the way—yet the mac ‘n cheese still remains untouched. a smile creeps its way in luhan’s face because like he had predicted, soojung forgot about the mac ‘n cheese.

he doesn’t tell her though.

he waits for her to notice it herself, and as if she’s heard him, he notices her hand reaching out to the food. it’s gonna taste cold, luhan thinks, smirking, while he watches her eat the food and chew—

“ick!”

luhan chuckles. as expected.

wincing, she looks up and gazes at luhan. she purses , and quietly, luhan stands up to obtain the bowl. he disappears for a while and she begins to wonder whether he’s mad at her for not eating it when he told her to, but the thoughts fly away when he’s suddenly back.

there’s an amused grin plastered on his face, and soojung shoots him a quizzical look.

“eat it while it’s hot.”

“okay.”

luhan smirks, dropping a kiss on her forehead; soojung, in response, offers him a tired but warm smile.
