prompt: lazy Sunday morning for the couple

soojung generally wakes up first.

no, it’s not because she’s a girl and it’s her responsibility to prepare everything for the boy, but it’s because she needs quite a lot of time to cook breakfast. soojung is stuck at a stage where she’s still got so much to learn, in hopes to put an end of burnt sandwiches and (extremely) bitter coffees on mornings.

sehun, on the other hand, gets two choices: to stay in bed or to watch his girlfriend work her way in the kitchen. of course, he’d rather choose option two, but soojung hates being watched under pressure so she makes him stay in bed. sehun will only smile in response.

so when sunday morning kicks in, soojung wakes up happy and contented. she feels uncomfortable at first, her body quite in pain, and that’s when she realized that both of them are hampered in their couch. she turns her head to the side, only to see sehun still sleeping rather adorably, and she tries not to giggle because she can’t wake him just yet. he doesn’t like his sleep disturbed. quietly, she lifts his arm off her waist to prepare for breakfast when—

“what are you doing,” sehun mumbles hazily, hence it comes out as “alksjklajsdlajslda.”

“breakfast,” she replies shortly, thinking sehun knows the daily routine. she waits for him to get his arm off her waist, but after few seconds pass and it’s still there, she wonders if he’s doing this on purpose. in fact, he’s pulled her closer against his chest, his breathing hot against her neck.

“uh, sehun?” she wriggles.

“hmm?” he holds her a little tighter in response.

“i can’t get up with you holding me tight.” wriggles.

“hmm.” a little tighter now.

“that means i can’t cook you breakfast.”

“hmm.”

“like we can’t eat.”

“hmm.”

“i’m serious!” she squirms.

“hmm.”

“oh, my god. sehun!”

she hears him chuckle shortly, knowing that he’s playing with her, but even though the idea of just staying in bed and cuddling is quite tempting, soojung still has responsibilities to take care of.

“sehun, can you please let me go now?” she whines.

ignoring her, he presses butterfly kisses on her neck instead. “soojung, can we please just cuddle and sleep and cuddle and maybe have later but still… cuddle?”

soojung’s cheeks turn deep red—and her ears, her nose, and practically her face—because sehun’s never been so straightforward than now and she’s stunned and surprised and she doesn’t know what to feel.

but she doesn’t say no anyway, so they still end up cuddling.

(hours later, they had , cuddled and skipped lunch.

sehun then complains he’s extremely famished when dinner came.)
