Flashback.

It was an awkward walk between the two as they strolled through the park about three feet away from each other. Su Kyung was pretending to text on her phone, but she could feel Luhan’s stares and shifted uncomfortably.

“So… what did you want to talk about?” she asked. Luhan turned away right when she turned to face him. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously .

“Uh, about that. I-”

GROWL

Su Kyung froze in her spot as she placed a hand over her stomach. She could feel her face burning up. Of course, she skipped breakfast and it was already two o’clock by now. Luhan gave an amused look at her and laughed.

“Still as cute as ever. Let’s go eat. You probably missed breakfast like always…” he slyly took her hand and pulled her out of the park.

“Y-yah, you don’t have to hold my hand,” she tried to pull away but failed since his grip only got tighter.

“Come on, you know you’ll get lost if I don’t hold on to you. Remember? You don’t have any sense of direction,” he chuckled at the old memories and helped create a path for the both of them through the crowd of people. She puffed out her cheeks in response but she knew he was 100% right. They entered a classy looking café and she knew exactly where they were.

It was the place where they first met. He had spilled coffee on her here. Luhan seemed to be thinking the same thing. “I remember this place too, you know. I wonder if the coffee stain is still in the carpet.” He pretended to search for the stain and she couldn’t help but to crack a smile under this awkward atmosphere.

They ordered and once the waitress (who was literally pushing her chest into his face) left, it was awkward once again.

“Uh so you were saying?” she asked, but didn’t dare lift her head up to meet his eyes.

He suddenly turned serious and gently took her hands in his. And when she tried to squirm out, he just held on tighter.

“Please…just for now…” he pleaded, eyes full of sorrow.

Feeling guilty, she nodded and relaxed.

“It was true. I left for China to my parents’ place but I came back a week later. Why, you ask? Because they tricked me. They wanted me to be in an arranged marriage.”

Su Kyung’s eyes widened as her lips parted slightly. Arranged marriage? That would’ve been the last thing she would’ve thought of.

“So I left and crashed with EXO-M again. No one knew about it except for them.”

“But why didn’t you tell me?”

“Believe me, I wanted to. I was dying on the inside. I-“

“Then why were you at the club?!”

“The same reason you were. Ji Eun brought you there to cheer you up right? Same here. The guys forced me there to drink my sorrows away. But then I saw you. I literally lost it when you ran away from me…” he looked down, guilty.

She on the other hand was still in shock. She fought with her conscious, deciding if she should comfort him or not. At last, she sighed and squeezed his hands. “Luhan, I’m sorry too. I overreacted and made this big mess. I should’ve just listened to you. I forgive you but do you forgive me?”

Luhan’s expression automatically brightened as he nodded ecstatically. “Of course I do!” he kissed the back of her hand and looked back at her with a giant smile plastered across his face. But she just looked away uncomfortably.

“But let’s just be friends.” She softly said, her voice wavering. Luhan’s smile faltered but nodded hesitantly.

“Ah… so you really did fall out of love with me. It’s ok though. I’m fine with being friends… As long as you forgive me…” He then turned uncomfortable and bit his lip. “Actually I have something else to confess. I-”

“You’re going back to China right?” Su Kyung interrupted him with a sad smile.

“H-how?”

“Luhan, we went out remember? I know how much you love your parents and how much they love you too. You’ve always been such a mama’s boy.”

They both paused and stared at each other before chuckling.

“So you’ll go through with the marriage?”

He shrugged. “Yeah, I’ve met her once before. She’s alright.”

“Well then I wish you two the best of luck with each other. Introduce me to her someday. It’ll be great to have a Chinese girl friend now.” She grinned normally now and he couldn’t help but to laugh too.

“Arasso. Aigoo, dorky as always,” he flicked her forehead and she glared at him playfully.
