The black Mercedes convertible pulled over in front of Jeju’s famous Teddy Bear Museum.

Minah eyed the building before stepping down from the car.

“I used to visit this place with Hyo when we were still kids.” Minho said as he walked to her.

“Really? I don’t think I’ve been here before.” She nodded as they walked towards the entrance together.

Minho glanced at her as the doors opened and they were greeted by the staff.

He felt a strange warm feeling spread in him as he looked at her.

Whatever it was, he liked it.

He also liked the fact that Minah was with him.

Kai frowned as he stepped out from the meeting. Even though the company’s sales have been doing good he was bothered. The rumors about Minah hasn’t died down since early morning.

He was trying to reach Hyojeong but she wasn’t picking up.

And has no idea where Minah was and it was starting to make him feel jumpy.

Then he felt his phone vibrate in his coat pocket.

“Director, we already know about Miss Kang’s whereabouts.”

“Where is she?” He asked as he stepped in the elevator.

“She’s at Jeju as of this moment.”

Kai blinked as the doors opened, he walked to his office.

“With whom?”

“Mister Choi. It has been reported that they arrived earlier this afternoon.”

Kai put down his phone and tossed it on the table.

Minah was alone, His Minah was alone in Jeju with Minho.

And it made him more frustrated than he already was.

Kris watched as Kai downed the contents of his glass. Tao and Sehun were starting to worry over him.

“I told you not to search for her, Kai.” Sehun said.

“I..didnt know she would be with that…that..”

 Kris frowned, he knew his cousin wasn’t the type of person to go to a place so far with someone whom she doesn’t trust.

That only meant one thing, Minah was comfortable around Choi Minho.

Kai finished his glass and asked for another one from the bartender.

Then a lady dressed in a short skirt and a halter top walked to Kai. Tao rolled his eyes and looked away.

“It’s been a while since you came, Kai.” She said as she placed one arm around him seductively. Kai ignored her as he got his drink.

“Are you up to~”

“Get your arm off.”

Sehun and Kris looked at each other.

“Come on, Kai. I know you~”

Kai stood up abruptly causing the girl to almost trip on her heels.

“Kim Jongin.” Kris said in a warning tone.

Kai exhaled and walked out of the bar.

Minah watched the dark sky from her seat. Minho was sitting beside her inside the jet. She unstrapped her seatbelt and looked at him; his blanket had fallen off his lap.

Her brows furrowed, and then she picked it up and placed it on his legs. She smiled as she leaned on her seat.

Somehow being with Minho made her feel better. Earlier she was bothered by how people were starting to talk about her. She was never under so much scrutiny. But when Minho stood up for her she felt secured and she knew that a small part of her was starting to depend on him.

Minho’s black Mercedes pulled over in front of the complex. Minah smiled and opened the door.

“Thanks for..today.” She looked at him. Minho nodded.

“Anytime. Are you okay? I mean…about the issues.”

Minah shrugged.

“It happens, I’m sure it will be better by tomorrow-”

Minho wasn’t looking at her, but at something behind her.

“Is something wrong, Minho?” Minah followed his gaze.

“Kai.” Minah muttered as she saw her best friend leaning on the hood of his Exelero.

Kai met eyes with her and he pushed himself off his car and walked to him. Minho’s brows furrowed.

“Where were you, Kang Minah?”

Minah could smell the alcohol from him.

“Have you been drinking again?” She sighed.

“You have no right to reprimand me. Do you know how worried I was?”

“Kai~”

“She was with me.” Minho said.

“I wasn’t talking to you.”

“Kai, please.” Minah said as she tugged on his coat.

Kai furrowed his brows.

Then he shrugged Minah’s hand off his coat and walked to his car.

“Na~”

“I’m sorry, Minho. But thanks for today, I really mean it.” Minah said before walking towards Kai.
