Part Thirteen [Yewook]
The scent of apple spread around the small kitchen as Ryeowook giggled in his masterpiece.
Christmas is two days away and he’ll be doing what he loves the most… cooking.
Ever since he returned home, he had made sure that he'll get stuck up in the kitchen most of theme. Gladly, winter is a season of festivities parties and the like. He could cook without mush reason to do so.
"Wookie, can you go grocery shopping once you're done with that?" He heard his mother shout from the living room. She had been all too preoccupied with the overly decorated Christmas tree.
"Okay, mom." He answered as he settled the apple pie on the table. It glazed from the artificial light and the smell, of dear, the smell was utterly heavenly.
Removing the apron he giggled as he took a bite of the banana muffin he had made earlier that day. Another masterpiece. He smiled as he walked out of his favorite place in the house.
"Where's your list?" he inquired his mother as the old woman smiled at him. She was still young, beautiful and very kind. Her soft curls bounced as she walked towards her son and handed her a small purse
"Here you go,cadet. Scurry up so we can prepare dinner later on."
He obliged, kissed her on the cheek and walked out to the snow clad streets. It was so cold that afternoon, and the sun's rays was barely visible. He was almost running as he waved hello to Sunyoung, the girl he ditched at the ball and yet found a better date than anyone else. Who knew Jinki was such a charm. He giggled.
And then, he remembered handsome Kim Jongwoon who took him as a date in the ball. He felt his cheeks heat up and he started giggling like a maniac all alone.
