Dongwook's POv

His life had gone down hill since the night he left Jiyong’s room that night; he’d been having a bad week constantly thinking about him and wondering why he wasn’t calling or texting. He almost drove back to Seoul one night but he knew better, his mother would kill him. He even got a girlfriend; just some girl who had always liked him and she actually helped a little but he never wanted Jiyong to know because he didn’t want to pressure him but something in Jiyong’s eyes when he opened the door made him realize how wrong he’d been and how his face changed when he mentioned his girlfriend, killed him.

He also watched how Taeyang carried him to his room when he was drunk and he couldn’t help but feel guilty, and a little jealous of Taeyang so he left to get some things to return back to school but not before he saw Jiyong one last time but what he saw was worse than how he felt all week; Jiyong kissing Seunghyun, and Seunghyun wasn’t pulling back. But something better happened right after,

“Dongwook hyung” Jiyong said his name; he could hear it clearly. Jiyong said his name, which was a little confusing since he just kissed Seunghyun.

He watched as his baby brother remained in a daze for a while before laying Jiyong back down shakily, then placed his hands over his chest and took a few deep breaths ‘does Seunghyun like jiyong’?

“Hyung”? Busted. Seunghyun was facing him.

“Oh..hey”.

“Hyung…*cough”*…I didn’t know you were around”

“Yeah… just stopped by to pick something up”

“Hyung. Can I talk to you for a minute”? Seunghyun asked as they walked out of Jiyong’s room.

“Sure”.

They went to the balcony of the living room, far from Jiyong’s room so they wouldn’t wake him up.

“Hyung” Seunghyun started as they arrived “How much do you know Jiyong, how do you two know each other”? He wasn’t surprised; Seunghyun had always been a straightforward person but he wasn’t sure where this was going.

“I don’t know much, I bumped into him on the street a few weeks back. Why”?

“Hyung, will it be okay to ask you to stay away from him for a while. You’re hurting him”

“What”? He was confused. “I’m not the one who made him end up in a hospital” He wanted to take it back the minute he said it .

“I know hyung, I feel bad about it but I’m trying to make it up to him. I’m going to protect him from now on”

What was wrong with Seunghyun? It wasn’t like him

“Protect him”?

“Yes, and it seems like he’s hurt because of you so please stop being too close to him”

They spoke for a while before he figured it out; Seunghyun liked Jiyong. It couldn’t happen, he was going to stop it. There was too much sour history between them that would break them; he was going to stop it, the same way he was stopping himself from getting too close to Jiyong.

“You know you can’t like him right”? He finally said it. “You can’t have anything to do with Jiyong. We don’t even deserve to be his friends or even talk to him”

“What”?

“I saw him kiss you… you were flustered” Seunghyun’s face paled. “You can’t like him. I wont allow it” He watched as Seunghyun’s face turned back to being cold.

“I don’t like him, and if I did… You can’t stop me. Bye hyung” Seunghyun said walking past him to go back into the house.

“What changed… before I left, you couldn’t stand him. What changed”? He asked with his back turned to Seunghyun.

“He played the piano…. he played dad’s favorite piece” He answered after a while and walked away immediately after.

Jiyong's POv

Something was wrong when he got up; the room was a little blurry and he had a splitting headache.

‘It hurts’ He groaned as he dragged himself out of the bed and to the shower. The shower helped but he still felt sore, but it was a Monday, which meant he had to go to school.

 KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

“Hmm” He could barely speak, his headache had gotten worse.

“I’ve been trying to call you…. are you okay”? Taeyang peeked in.

“I feel like I’m about to die. What did I drink”?

“Something I’ll never let you drink ever again. You don’t have to go to school you know”

“I want to, ill be fine”

“Okay then. Drink this” Taeyang handed him a flask.

“What is it”?

“Hangover soup. Your best friend made it for you”

“Bom’s back”?!! He couldn’t help but squeal. He missed Bom but he had not been able to get on Skype since he left the radio, and the only number she had of him was in Busan with his father.

“No Pabo, Me. You don’t remember calling me your best friend last night”?

“No…the last thing I remember was talking to Nickhun” He said and laughed a little at how offended Taeyang looked.

“I’m soweee” He said doing an aegyo; his second best one.

“Whoa. You’re so cute” Taeyang pinched his cheeks

“Uh…hey” He stopped short when he heard Seunghyun’s voice from the door.

“Yo Seunghyun”! He watched as Seunghyun stiffly exchanged pleasantries with the hyper Taeyang. Something was different about him today; his hair was gelled up this time and he actually wore the complete school uniform for once and he looked good in it. His eyes locked with Seunghyun when he realized he’d been staring, which wasn’t like him. It could be the hangover.

“Shall we”? Seunghyun asked looking directly at him and for some reason, he felt like he was under the spotlight. There was something about seunghyun’s eyes, it was almost as if it was piercing him.

    It was the first time he’d ever been in a limo since his mother’s funeral and it brought back some memories but he wasn’t going to say it.

“How about we stop in our usual breakfast spot”? Taeyang asked as he was in his own world.

“Yeah sure”

“Are you okay Jiyong”? Seunghyun asked from across the car making his heart race a little; Seunghyun’s voice was too deep, it must have scared him.

“Yeah”.

They arrived at the place but his appetite was gone so he drank the soup, which surprisingly made him feel better, but his eyes were still sore.

“Hey wear his when we get to school” Seunghyun handed him a pair of glasses before they got back in the car.

School was a little scary as people gasped as they saw him get out of the limo with both Seunghyun and Taeyang, and there were whispers everywhere he went, making him regret his choice of not joining them in Seunghyun’s lair.

Hey…do you want to join me in our regular place for lunch?

He smiled as he read the message from Taeyang; he’d been dreading eating in the cafeteria as people were still not sure if it was okay to be friends with him again and he didn’t blame them. He also hadn’t seen Nickhun all day, he wanted to ask him about the previous night because something had been bothering him since his first class; he’d kissed someone last night and unlike his first kiss, this one felt good. It made him feel alive; it could have been the alcohol but he would never forget how it seemed like he was having an outer body experience and he liked the feeling… he wanted it again and it made him blush all day.

Taeyang's POv

He wanted Jiyong in the lair with them but he kindly refused which was understandable but he couldn’t help but text him during lunchtime. Lunch was once again perfect because of Jiyong’s smile.

“I’m really sorry about last night”

“Its fine. I figured you didn’t feel too happy, I’m sorry I forced you to attend” If hadn’t forced Jiyong, he probably wouldn’t have had access to Nickhun and alcohol.

“That wasn’t your fault hyung” Jiyong said and smiled sadly “I think I experienced my first heartbreak yesterday”

“Can I ask who broke your heart”? He asked although he knew.

“No…not really: I’ve decided to let go of that person. I was only deceiving myself thinking I’d be worthy of an angel”

“Don’t be ridiculous Ji, you’re the angel” The words came out before he was able to stop himself. But he eased up a little when jiyong chuckled in return.

“You don’t have to say nice things. I’ll be fine though, it was my punishment for wanting something I can’t have”

It pained him how much Jiyong must have liked Dongwook . “But that’s not what I’m apologizing for hyung” He watched as Jiyong started blushing a little and patting his cheeks; he’d never looked so gorgeous which made him anticipate what Jiyong was going to say.

Seunghyun's PoV

He was going to make Nickhun pay for making Jiyong drink so much; he could have killed him.

"I'm so sorry hyung. I promise to never do it agian" Nickhun pleaded, he'd been kneeling in his lair since lunch break started. He had Taecyon look for him for  hours, and he was finally found hiding in one of the bathroom stalls.

"You should know better than to plead Nick.... why do you always do this to yourself"? He asked with his nicest voice.
"I'll never do it ever again. I promise"
"Good. But the question is why you did it; first you force him to kiss you, then you make him drunk. Were you trying to take advantage of him"? He was genuinely curious at Nickhuns actions "ANSWER ME"! he yelled when there was no response.
"It's because I'm like him, i just have a bad way of showing it" Nickhun said it so fast that his head spinned.

"What"? He heard from the door and he looked up to see a shocked Jiyong and Taeyang.
