“Where is -----ah?” Mika asked.

“She’s sleeping, I think.” Jay replied while munching on chips.

“I think they’ll be here soon.” Mika said with a sigh.

It’s already 6 PM… you opened your eyes slowly, then you realized your room is dark.

“Gosh! It’s evening already!” You exclaimed. You sighed again. You the lamp on the night stand. You looked at your phone. “It’s 6 PM. There’s no call from oppa or from Ahjusshi too.”

You decided to take a shower before heading down stairs to make dinner.

You went out wearing a simple blue cardigan and jeans and your gray converse, even you’re at home you dress properly, but simple.

As you stepped down the stairs, you saw the lights are off… you were a little scared, you searched for the switch, and you called for Mika and Jay…

“Mika oppa?... Jay oppa?” You called.                                                                

“Where are you guys?” You grew more scared, when you didn’t hear them reply.

“Did they leave? Why are the lights off? Where are they?” You are starting to panic, you hate darkness.

You slowly walked to the walls to find the switch, “Ow!” You cried, you accidentally tripped because you can’t see anything. “That hurts! Why did they turn off the lights before they left?! They know I hate this.”

“I forgot!” Mika whispered.

“What can we do now, she’s already there.” Jay whispered back.

By that time, they were already in the house hiding behind the couch…

*Is she alright? She’s hurt. I’m regretting that we even did this.* Jaejoong thought.

*I’m worried what if she got injured? We should have thought of another way.* Yoochun thought.

“Will she be okay?” YoonJi whispered.

You slowly reached to your left and felt the cold surface.

“Found it!” You exclaimed.

“She found the switch. Get ready.” Mika whispered again.

Soon the lights started flickering. You blinked your eyes adjusting to the light.

Then…. mini poppers started popping. “SURPRISE!” Everyone yelled.

It gave you a mini heart attack. You turned around to see everyone. You were surprised and confused.

“------ah! Were you surprised? Scared? Sorry.” Jay said.

“I thought you left me…” You said, almost crying.

Mika approached you and placed his hand on your shoulder. “We’re sorry -----ah.” He smiled.

You smiled back, “Thank you for not leaving. I was scared.” You said.

“I won’t leave you, I promised your brother, didn’t I?” Mika said with another reassuring smile.

Mika was about to hug you….

“Hyung!” Jay shouted.

“What?” Mika asked.

“You can’t just hug her!”

“Why not?”

“Because, she’s your best friend’s sister!”

“So?”

“Hyung! I don’t want the things that happened already to happen again.”

“Why, what happened?”

“Hyung, you don’t need to hide it, she knows already anyway.”

“What are you talking about?” Mika asked, getting more confused.

“I’m curious too, sunbae.” YoonJi blurted.

“Let’s hear it, then.” Mika said.

“Hyung, I know you had a crush on -----ah.” Jay blurted.

“What?!” YoonJi exclaimed.

Jaejoong and Yoochun’s eyes widen.

“Is that true?” Changmin and YooRin asked together.

“Ah, yes. I remember HyunChul oppa telling me that.” You said, calmly.

“That was ages ago, moron!” Mika said as he hit Jay with a throw pillow.

“So, it is true.” YoonJi said, still can’t believe what she just heard.

“Yes. That was… two years ago?” You asked.

“Uhuh.” Mika replied.

“Did you like him too?” YooRin asked curiously.

“Of course! He is like a brother to me after all.” You replied.

“So, you didn’t really have a relationship, right?” Changmin asked.

“No, that’s ridiculous! I had a crush on her, because she’s cute. But I treat her as my sister.” Mika said.

“You were making a big deal out of nothing serious, Jay sunbae.” YoonJi said.

“Anyway, why are you guys here? And what’s with the surprise? It’s not my birthday.” You asked.

“You didn’t look like surprised though… we’re here for another party.” YooRin said.

You tilted your head in confusion. “Why?” You asked.

“Because it’s fun in your house, -----ah!” YoonJi said.

“Are you not happy that we’re here?” Yoochun finally talked.

“Uh, no! I’m glad you’re here. Thanks for coming here again.” You said.

You were happy, very happy… and you don’t feel empty anymore.

You smiled at Jaejoong, who instantly smiled back.

“Let’s have barbeque tonight!” Changmin blurted.

“YAY!” Jay cheered.

Everybody laughed.

You and the others decided to have barbeque in the backyard, which is huge. There is a beautiful garden, and a pool. The wind is cool, a perfect night for star gazing.

The grill was set, and they started grilling barbeque.

You went back inside to get mats to be used outside, Jaejoong went with you.

“Are you okay? Were you hurt earlier?” Jaejoong asked.

“No. I’m okay. Thanks! I’m happy that you’re here.”

“Let me carry it.” Jaejoong took the mats from you.

“Thank you.” You replied.

You sneezed all of a sudden, then another… “Aaachoo!”

Jaejoong laughed at your cuteness..

“Why are you laughing?” You asked while rubbing your nose.

“Are you okay? Are you sick?” Jaejoong asked still laughing a little.

“No, I’m fine.” You replied then another sneeze came.

“I think you’re sick.” Jaejoong said, concerned.

“I’m okay. I just took a shower, that’s why.” You said.

“I see… are you cold?”

You shook your head no.

“Hyung can you get the chiller box, the drinks are there carry it out, okay hyung?” Changmin said taking the mats, he dashed outside again.

You and Jaejoong went in the kitchen.

“I’ll carry it, its heavy.” Jaejoong said as he carried the box with two hands.

He walked out first.

You felt warm inside, you were smiling…

*He’s so caring. Is it just me or he is very good-looking tonight?* You thought.

You gasped and mentally slapped yourself..

*Why am I thinking of this? Of course! Its Kim Jaejoong after all.* You walked after him.

They were all happily chatting and busy eating.

You helped Yoochun grill the meat.

“I’ll do it, it’s hot.” Yoochun grabbed the thongs from you.

“That’s why I like doing it, because its hot.” You protested.

“What if you accidentally get burned? Just look at it and let me do the grilling.”

“But, I want to do it too.”

“Why? Do you like grilling that much?”

“No…I just want to help you.”

“Well, thank you and I very much appreciate it… but I’m worried..”

“Why do you worry about me that much?”

“Because…*Yoochun blushed* … let’s do it together, then.” Yoochun handed you another pair of thongs.

“Really? Okay!” You said with a giggle.

“Just be careful, I know you’re clumsy.”Yoochun teased.

You laughed and he laughed too. Then, you both were staring at each other’s eyes, totally forgetting about grilling the meat at that moment.

“Hyung! It’s burning!” Changmin yelled.

All heads turned to your direction.

You gulped, then you looked away.

“Hyung, didn’t you hear me? Aish!” Changmin grabbed the thongs from Yoochun’s hands, he started flipping the meat. “Hyung, pay more attention to the grill!” Changmin scolded.

“Huh?” Yoochun turned to Changmin in confusion.

“Hyung! Didn’t you hear me talking here?” Changmin asked in frustration.

“What were you saying Changmin-ah?”

You chuckled, you want to laugh but you’re stopping yourself.

“Make it fast hyung, we’re hungry!” Changmin said as he walked away.

Yoochun is still startled, you giggled at his cuteness..

“We should just continue grilling Yoochun-ah.” You said.

“Uh, yeah.” Yoochun replied.

After a while, the barbeque was done and you and the others started eating.

“Hyung, why don’t you confess already?” Changmin whispered.

“I will.” Yoochun replied.

“Tonight?” YooRin asked.

“I guess… maybe…” Yoochun replied, unsure.

*If Yoochun makes a move tonight, it will be game over for Jaejoong.* YooRin thought.

YooRin looked at Jaejoong and You. *He’s already beside -----ah, why doesn’t he make a move?*

“Do you like barbeque, Jaejoong-ah?” You asked.

“Yeah, you do too?”

“Yes, I love it!”

“Great! Then, have some more!” He handed you another stick. You gladly accepted it.

“Oh wait!” He took the stick back. You looked at him curiously.

Jaejoong started blowing the heat from it. You watch him do it, a wide smile appeared in your face.

Jaejoong looked at you and saw you smiling. “B-because… it’s…still hot.” Jaejoong said.

You laughed at his silliness. “I think it’s not hot anymore. Thanks Jaejoong-ah.”

“It’s… nothing.” Jaejoong looked down, blushing.

“Jaejoong-ah, YooRin is lucky to have you as his boyfriend, you’re a very caring person.”

Jaejoong was shocked to hear this from you. “YooRin… is not my girlfriend.” He stated.

You looked at him in shock too, “What? She’s not?” You asked.

“No. We’re just friends.”

“Oh, I see… I thought…” You stopped when you saw Jaejoong looked away.

*So, she was thinking that I’m in a relationship with YooRin all this time?...*

“I’m sorry…” You said, looking down. “I must have hurt your feelings.”

Jaejoong looked back at you, “No. It’s okay. Don’t be sorry.” Jaejoong said.

“Still… I’m sorry.”

“Why do you think that you’ve hurt my feelings?“ Jae asked.

“I said that YooRin is your girlfriend, and maybe you like someone else… so… I regret saying it.”

“That’s true… I like someone else…” Jaejoong stated.

Jaejoong’s words hit you hard. “I…I…see…” You looked down, *Why am I like this again?*

“------ah… it’s okay. You don’t need to be sorry.” Jaejoong said.

You didn’t say anything… *Jaejoong likes someone…*

“------ah?” Jaejoong called.

“Excuse me.” You said, then you left at once.

When YooRin saw this, she approached Jaejoong at once.

“What happened?” She asked.

“I…don’t know… she just walked away.” Jae replied.

“What did you tell her?”

“She thought that you’re my girlfriend… but I told her you’re not, and I said I like someone else…”

“So now she thinks you like someone else?”

Jaejoong nodded.

“And she doesn’t know who…” YooRin gasped.

“What?” Jaejoong asked in shock.

“Jaejoong-ah… maybe… -------ah, has feelings for you too…” YooRin said.

Jaejoong froze hearing this.

“…That’s… no… I…” Jaejoong was unsure of what to say.

“Well, there’s a possibility Jae, who wouldn’t like a guy like you anyway.” YooRin said.

“A possibility…”

You walked inside the house, you leaned on the wall, and you placed a hand on your chest…

“No… There’s no way… what’s happening to you -----------?” You said to yourself…

“I can’t fall in love… not this time… not with Kim Jaejoong…” A picture of Yoochun flashed in your head…

 Then you closed your eyes…

“Not with Park Yoochun…. I can’t fall in love with anyone….” You whisprered.

“You can’t fall in love….-----------.”
