Luhan POV

I had been staying with Kris since Lay's death, I knew how he must be feeling and I knew it wasn't safe for him to be on his own. He never spoke to me, instead choosing to stare endlessly at walls with an emotionless face, but I could see how lost he was by looking at his eyes. I spent my days milling around and waiting for the go ahead for the plan. At this point Kyungsoo, Yuri and Seohyun had all been deployed undercover and we were waiting for them to return with any information they had. 

I found my thoughts often wandering to Sehun, I wanted to know how he was, if he was waiting for me, or if he had given up. I felt my mood go down further with the thought that Sehun might have given up on being saved, I prayed that he would keep strong, I couldn't lose anyone else.

Kris POV

"Kris, lets go get Ice Cream together, I really want some"

"No Lay, we're on a mission we can't just stop for ice cream"I chuckled 

"Please" He whined, a cute pout forming on his face.

"Fine, come on then"

"Kris, remember when we first met" 

"Yeah"

"I knew the minute I saw you that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you"

"Thats because you have to "

"God you're so unromantic, you know thats not what I meant"

"I know sweetie, I felt the same way"

I quickly pecked him on the lips and chuckled when he started going red

"KRIS HOW COULD YOU BE SO STUPID, WHY DID YOU DO THAT?"

"LAY IT'S MY JOB, I HAVE TOO"

"NO YOUR JOB IS TO PROTECT ME, HOW ARE YOU MEANT TO DO THAT WHEN YOU'RE DEAD"

"I'M NOT GOING TO DIE"

"Kris, please stop putting yourself in danger,I don't think I can handle it anymore....just don't go on the mission stay with me."

"I'm sorry Lay I have too"

I exited the door and felt my heart break when I heard him start to cry

I opened my eyes, groaning at the bright light.

"Good to see you're awake" came the condescending voice that could only belong too Chen

"Where am I?"

"In the infirmary, you've been out like a light for about four days." 

"Oh god...what happened?"

"Some Yaix agents got you, you were in a pretty bad state, you almost died"

", Lay's going to kill me"

"Um, Kris" Chen said awkwardly

"What?"

"We're not sure if Lay's going to wake up,"

"What!"

"He used up alot of energy saving you" Chen said looking at the bed next to me

I turned my head and my heart broke, my Lay looked so weak.

I blinked, slowly coming back to reality, I stiffened when I realised there were tears running down my face. I felt so empty now, I just didn't know what to do with myself. I was completely lost.

This was all Sehun's fault, none of this would have happened if we'd never met him. If we never met him, Lay would still be here.

I wouldn't be alone.

A/N:

Sorry it took so long,but school is so hectic at the moment, but the christmas holiday starts in a couple of days so I can start updating again. Yay. 

Theres only three chapters left of this story now, *sobs* :(

I'm actually sad that this ending, I really enjoyed writing this one, but alas all things must end, and I have more stories planned.
