Jinyoung POV

"....and they are now aware that Tao and Jennica are part of the Yaix but are reluctant to reveal this fact to Sehun, Kai and Taemin. They have however informed the three that Baekhyun has been taken captive by us." Jessica finished

"Thank you Jessica, as usual you've been very helpful...tell me has Sehun started his training yet?"I asked

"He has but its fairly early on, so he is not to powerful"She replied

"Still it will make our plans suffer if he gains to much power, we'll have to move the time scale for the plan up if it is to succeed."I pondered mainly to myself.

"Still, we have some time"Jessica put forward " what's better is he's protector isn't the one training him so this will heavily slow down the process."

"This is true...speaking of protectors, how is yours?" I asked

I watched her stiffen at my question which confirmed my suspicions.

"So it's true, you know the rules, you can't be romantically involved with a protector."I told her coldly

"That's not fair, Tao is involved with Jennica and she was a protector."She argued 

"Don't raise your voice at me, remember your place. Anyway its different for them, Jennica denied her past and left it behind to be with Tao, she gave her self completely to our cause, can you honestly tell me you could get Heechul to do the same" 

"I can"She said arrogantly

"Okay then...you have a month to make him change sides, if not you'll never see him again...you are dismissed"I said gesturing for her to leave.

She glared at me slightly before leaving the room angrily. I didn't have time to worry about any of my people being angry I had a lot of work to do, so you could say I was annoyed when Tao burst in the room looking determained.

"What do you need Tao"I asked sitting back and assessing the teenager in front of me.

"I would like Baekhyun to be put into my care and out of Suho's" He said bluntly

I was startled slightly by his request, I honestly thought he was coming to complain about Narsha again.

"Why should I do that?"I asked him

"You obviously need him alive for whatever your planning, and honestly he's going to die if you leave him in Suho's possession"

"Why do you believe that?"

"Because Suho's not taking care of him properly, I understand not needing to be kind to the guy but he's not giving him enough food to live on and he's letting Chanyeol beat the guy senseless for hours a day...he's going to die if it doesn't stop and then your plan would fail." He told me

I knew that there was more to this then him thinking about the success of my plan but I chose at this point not to bring it up, and instead chose to indulge the boy.

"Okay then,i'll have him moved to your room straight away. You may leave now."

"Thank you, master" He said, while bowing and leaving the room.

Baekhyun POV

When I opened my eyes, the first thing I noticed was I was in a different room, the second thing I noticed was that I was lying in a bed. I moved slightly in an attempt to sit up ,but I stopped and hissed in pain due to the movement pulling at the cuts on my back. 

"You shouldn't move to much...now you're awake we can bandage you up properly." Came the voice of a girl.

"Who are you?"I asked her, my voice cracking slightly. It still felt sore.

"My names Jennica, i'm Tao's partner."She told me as she started setting out a firstaid kit

"Are you going to hurt me too?"I asked, tears building in my eyes as she cleaned the woulds on my back

"No, Tao has ordered no one to lay a hand on you ,so you can heal properly...he'll be back soon he went to get you some food." She told me

At this point she had moved on wrapping layer after layer of bandages on me.

"Why did Tao order that, he joined in the past three times"I huffed out.

"He feels bad about that, he doesn't handle emotions well, he didn't like the fact that he actually considers you a friend. He feels like he's failing at his job, but he finally couldn't stand watching you get hurt, so he asked the master to have you moved into his care...he basically saved your life."She explained

I didn't reply to that but chose to stay silent.

Was it true he had saved me?

Kai POV

"Kai, it's good to see you again"Hyoyeon said, ushering me into the house "TAEMIN KAI'S HERE!" she shouted up the stairs

Not even a second later Taemin was down the stairs and tackling me into a hug

"Taemin I can't breathe"I panted

Taemin released me and looked somewhat bashful about almost choking me.

"Why are you here?"He asked me,as he pulled me to the living room. We both took a seat and I took note of how neat this room was,well Hyoyeon was obviously the one who cleaned,because Taemin is way to much of a forgetful idiot to be able to keep the place nice looking. When I looked up I found him staring expectantly at me.

"I found out i'm meeting my charge today"I told him.

"Like actually meeting them face to face, or Luhan meeting him and hiding behind a bush?"He asked me

"Face to face, they sent round Gain to explain everything to him,so he's moving in with me tommorow and i'm meeting him this afternoon...what do I do, i'm so nervous, what if I mess up?" I asked him.

"Calm down Kai, it's going to be fine, you just need to make sure that you make him feel comfortable. If you do that you'll be fine" Taemin told me

"It's not that easy, i'm so scared he's going to hate me"I told him

"Kai he's not going to hate you, he's going to love you, just like everyone else does...now calm down, pull yourself together and go and meet your charge. "Taemin said

"You're right, I should stop worrying."I said standing up

"Aren't I always....make sure you look nice when you meet him"Taemin said

"Why do I need to look nice?"I asked feeling confused

"Well you know, most charges and protectors end up in a relationship,so if this is your future boyfriend you need to look nice and make a good impression"He said, wriggling his eyebrows suggestively at me

"Shut up Taemin."I muttered, I quickly leave, feeling a blush come to my face.

I sat there nervously waiting in Chen's office. I couldn't stop myself from looking at the clock every two minutes, anxiously waiting for the time Chen would walk through the door with my charge. I had read about him in his file so I was up to date on his life and past, I was however unsure about what he had been told about me.

I froze when the door opened and I looked up, Chen walked through the door and then I saw him, he looked as nervous as I felt and I couldn't help but think that he was the most beautiful thing i'd ever seen.

Kyungsoo POV

I made eye contact with the boy who would be my protector for what could be presumed the rest of my life. The guy didn't break his gaze away from mine and I felt my face heat up. 

"Kyungsoo this is your protector Kai" Chen told me.

So this is my protector.

A/N: Sorry about the crappy  chapter but i'm stressed at the moment, I get my exam results on thursday and i'm so nervous.

However life goes on,

The next chapter is a Kray one and it will explain what happened to Lay and why he's so weak.
