Thunder storms

Sooyoung let out a breathtaking smile at the compliment, before inviting the pretty Chinese man into the apartment. Luhan didn’t mind spending time here, it was nice and comfortable, unlike many protectors’ homes, it was decorated and homey. He could see picture everywhere of the couple and it was like being in a regular couple’s home.
“So I heard you got a charge “She started as they sat down.
“Yeah I did, originally he was meant to go to Kai but Chen pulled some strings.”
“Ah good old Chen, he was the one who got me assigned to Joon instead of Seungri, he’s like a little trolling cupid “She laughed
“Oh my god you’re so right about that. How is Joon by the way?”
“He’s good, he’s really busy lately though I think there may be something going on with the Yaix” she said
“I think your right, it can’t be too serious yet, they haven’t sent out a massive alert to the protectors so their obviously not too worried. “
“How come you think I’m right then?”
“Well before I took Sehun into my home” “who’s Sehun?” “My charge… he went out with his parents and he was approached by Chanyeol”
“Chanyeol, are you serious …what was he doing in Seoul I thought he was based in Beijing”
“I thought the same thing that’s why I was so confused as to why he was there; I had to take Sehun in at that point for his protection. Not only that but Chen suspects that someone in his school is a part of the Yaix”
“Who?”
“I don’t know they wouldn’t tell me.”
“God their getting bolder now, they must have something planned.”
“Yeah I think so too, that’s why I think everyone’s been so busy lately.”
“It would make sense”
Luhan and Sooyoung both sat in silence absorbing the conversation they had just had, if the Yaix were up to something, everything would make a lot more sense. It was at this point that Sooyoung took a proper look at Luhan and felt worry bubble up inside of her. He was extremely pale and there were large bags under he’s eyes, and he was slightly shaking.
“Luhan, when was the last time you slept?”
“A couple of days ago, why?”
“God Luhan you can’t do that, you have to rest. Seriously go to sleep for a couple of hours, use the spare bedroom”
“I can’t, I have to go home to Sehun”
“He can wait…go to bed for a while”
“Okay…I suppose a few hours won’t kill me”
Sehun POV
I lay in bed listening to the thunder outside. I was always quite fond of thunder storms for some reason I always felt relaxed when they happened. Once again my thoughts drifted to Luhan, I couldn’t understand why I kept thinking of him, and why every time I did I felt warm inside…GOD what is wrong with me.
“S-Sehun?”Came a quivering voice from the door
I lazily turned my gaze to the entrance of my room and my eyes immediately widened and I sat up quickly, I was met with site of Lay hugging a plushie dragon to himself with tears streaming down his face.
“Lay what’s wrong?”
“Kris went out to meet Chen, and I’m scared of thunder storms” He whimpered as another crash resounded through the room.
“Come here” I said pulling the covers back and motioning for Lay to get in, in a second he had darted over and hid his face in my chest and was hugging himself closely to me. I raised my arm and wrapped it around him and held the pretty shaking boy close.
I woke up on my own and I squinted in confusion at the fact that Lay was no longer there.
“I took him back to his own room” came Kris’ deep voice from the corner of the room.
I quickly turned my head towards him.
“Sehun I want to thank you for taking care of him last night, when the thunder started I got kind of panicky I know he doesn’t handle thunder well, so thank you for taking care of him.”
“No problem”
“Either way I want to repay you so here” he handed me a phone which was ringing “have fun” he winked
I curiously lifted the phone to my ear.
“Hello?”
Luhan POV
I was woken by the sound of my phone ringing; I lazily lifted it to me before answering the phone
“hello?”
“Lu…Luhan?”
I immediately jerked up and a smile came to my face
“Sehun how are you?”
“I miss you”
“I’ll be home soon don’t worry”
“You promise”
Gah he’s so cute
“I promise, I have to go”
“Bye”
“Bye”
I ran downstairs startling Sooyoung and Joon.
“I need to leave so heres the necklace” I said handing it to Sooyoung had to stay and make sure that they put it somewhere safe. I watched as Sooyoung placed it in the safe. I felt myself release a breath once it was out of sight.
“Let’s hope we never have to use it “Sooyoung sighed.
“Let’s hope “I murmured
After a quick goodbye to Sooyoung and Joon and rushed home.
I calmly breathed out before opening the door and I was immediately knocked to the ground by Sehun, who was talking a top speed.
“Sehun calm down”
He looked at me for a second before connecting our lips together, and I felt my eyes widen.
