"Oh this is good." Shindong said as they watch a hiphoppie guy on stage rapping his bittersweet song about a person who left him.

The showcase has started and they are all looking forward to the performance. The organizers had managed to make it have a concert
feel rather than just a simple showcase. There is no seats, everyone is standing up and there is a bar at the end of the hall.
There is no particular theme except the word "Showcase" where all the invited second year students are to showcase whatever it is
that they can do onstage.

"Bang Yongguk, he's one arrogant bastard." Donghae said. "But I can see why." they all agreed that he is owning the stage right
now and that he got everyone's attention with his low, husky voice and choices of words in his rap. "Where's Sungmin hyung?"

Sungmin is standing in front quite far from his friends. He didn't want them to see him anticipating for Kyuhyun's performance or
being emotional with Bang's song. He should have known second years have so much to showcase this year. It was one of the best year
of performances from all batches. This song in particular has already captured him. He looks up on the stage not watching the
young Bang Yongguk jumping and stomping with angst but swallowing every bitter words that comes out of his mouth... he slowly looked

...and then a student from the third year, Yang Yoseob, came. Sungmin's eyes widened shortly as he felt shiver down his spine.

Sungmin crossed his eyebrows and felt like his heart just break because of the song. He remembered Kyuhyun looking at him gently
saying his plans when they grow old together. His supposedly dark eyes, brightening as he looks forward to them being together
for the rest of their lives. Kyuhyun's words when he said he'd love to be with Sungmin for a lifetime. Kyuhyun looking at him
intimately reaching for his hands when they looked at the sky. Kyuhyun's mischievous smile when he first approach the older.
Sungmin closed his eyes and a tear seemingly wanted to escape. Memories. It seems like it's becoming painful everytime he remembers.
He opened his eyes and breathe in deeply.

He looked up only to see Yang Yoseob kneeling down, his expressions mirroring the song, hand stretched to the audience and then
slightly touched his face as if he doesn't know what to do. Sungmin cannot see him clearly the more he moves on stage, his eyes
becoming blurry with tears. What is Yang Yoseob doing? It is just a song, right? Sungmin swallowed and did a quick inhale exhale, how
can a song can actually give this much emotion? He doesn't know. He looked up, there is no stage; there's only Kyuhyun standing in
front of him, and he in his mint green hospital gown with his dextrose holder at the side.

Sungmin recalled Kyuhyun's face at that very moment when he found out the truth. The dark mysterious eyes turning into something he
cannot even describe. Pity? Guilt? All those feelings in Kyuhyun's eyes, reflected how disappointed he was towards the older.

'You shouldn't be here in school. You should just stay in the hospital and get better. Stop forcing yourself to do these things anymore.'
Sungmin closed his eyes and drink in the song.

Sungmin blinked more and more just to stop the tears from coming up. His heartbeat matched the bass of the song. And his memories are
all about Kyuhyun. I will never forget those moments until the end. I remember.

'If you weren't this sick. I'd love to stay with you for a lifetime.'

Sungmin looked up and doesn't know how the song ended. Bang Yongguk and Yang Yoseob are not in the stage anymore. Cheers left and right
and the emcee stood up in the centre once again. He felt like he missed something, nevertheless, this song is something to be applauded
and that Bang Yongguk is someone to be anticipated. He cannot hear what the emcee is talking about he just knew that the cheers became
even more louder. Who's next?

"Oh! it's Kyuhyun's turn!" Leeteuk said pointing at the stage. They all straightened up and listened. The whole crowd suddenly calmed
down. They've heard Kyuhyun in Ryeowook's live broadcast and they all anticipate for this live and upclose performance. Kyuhyun is
standing on stage, with his one and only coat and slacks, a white shirt and black shoes, slightly fixing his earpiece while
bowing down to the audience. The piano background started playing. It is slow and very, very...

"heartbreaking." Leeteuk said. He turned to Donghae. "Donghae ah, Hyukjae is performing with Kyuhyun, do you know who..."

"Sungmin hyung wrote the song for Kyuhyun to sing." he said.

He knew it. That heartbreaking intro of piano is definitely Sungmin's style, because if he doesn't go for slow piano, he'd
go for rock guitar feel. What is this song about? It feels like Sungmin is talking in his music again. Everybody anticipates.

The piano started playing it's sad melody. The lights turned from red to purplish blue to match the feel of the song. The lights
around the audience became too low, Kyuhyun cannot see a thing. He stood in the centre of the stage, eyes closed, concentrating.
Finally, the counting he did while waiting for the intro, he raised
his microphone and forced his eyes to adjust to the darkness in front of him. He looked straight to the audiences and started

His eyes turned to the audience and saw Sungmin who's eyes are closed singing the song with him as if he's on the verge of crying.

heart and it would have been better if Sungmin would stand here on stage with him to sing this part, he's quite sure Sungmin will
do well, like he always do. Sungmin ah, open your eyes, I'm singing your song.

Sungmin opened his eyes shortly. Unaware that the young man is watching every move, every expression, every breath he takes, he
smiled impressed with Kyuhyun's vocals. His eyes blinks as tears keep on coming up.

Sungmin liked that part when Kyuhyun emphasized the first word and then his voice became gentle. He wasn't wrong when he chose
to write this song for Kyuhyun to sing. He doesn't need to look around to see how everyone react; he know's Kyuhyun has kicked everyone's
heart.

Dashi han beon, one more time [Once again, one more time]

Kyuhyun recalled the first time he tried recording the song. This is his favourite line. Once again, one more time. Why not? If he is
in a movie, the part where he is with Sungmin would probably in repeat mode. He'd like to do it once again, he'd like to be with
Sungmin one more time. But his fear would always stop him from going to the older.

Kyuhyun blinked and recalled Sungmin lying down beside him on the grassy part near the small hill of the school. The older smiling
showing his bunny teeth and those small crinkles at the corner of his eyes.

'I'm just glad I said yes to you.' He remembered Sungmin told him. He said yes to me. He never doubted me from the start.
'I've always wanted to fall in love. I'm happy that I chose the right person.' Kyuhyun felt like tears are creeping up his eyes and
suddenly he realised that Sungmin is talking to him in this song.
'Thank you for coming to my life.' He closed his eyes as he hears Sungmin's voice in his head.
'I have cancer. I can't be with you for a lifetime' Kyuhyun opened his eyes and eyed on Sungmin.

Hyukjae came out of nowhere during the short interlude of the song and started rapping, extending his arm and hit his chest hard
before facing the audience and stretching his arms and slowly closing his palm to fist.

Suddenly Kyuhyun wondered what Hyukjae is saying? He has heard Hyukjae rapping this but it is only now that he has heard it clear.
It speaks Sungmin's heart. Sungmin needs him. He blinked and saw Sungmin standing behind him when he received a threat in school. The
older wrapping his arms around him and resting his head on Kyuhyun's back. 'What are you going to do? Push me away? Try me.' What has
he done? He looked at Sungmin from the audience; crying and smiling at the same time.
'If I'm not this sick, do you think we're still together?'
He left Sungmin after everything the older has done for him.

Sungmin smiled and cried at the same time as he recalled Donghae's visit to him. He asked Hyukjae to sing this with Kyuhyun in
the showcase and he's glad that Hyukjae did as he requested. His words are strong and the emphasis he does in every single word
of his rap breaks Sungmin's heart. This song, a message to Kyuhyun. He wouldn't want to beg the young man to come back but at least
tell him what he really feels. He's in deep sorrow, he's heart is broken and he cannot do anything without Kyuhyun but even so, he knows they can't be
together. It's the sad, cursed truth.

Meomunda~ Jeomunda [Linger~ Dying down]

He eyed on Kyuhyun who is watching him intensely. Their eyes  locked and they didn't gaze away. Kyuhyun's eyes are
full of emotion, occassionally moving his microphone around his mouth as he sings the line with so much bitterness. Sungmin wrote
this song for him to sing. Sungmin wrote this song for him. The bittersweet words and the torment he felt while reading and learning
the song, right now, in front of Sungmin, it stabs him even more.

Sungmin's tears complete fall down. Their separation. What could have been worst than separating with the person you dearly love just
because he continue being strong with you? He can't blame Kyuhyun. He'd probably give up too if he is in the younger's shoes, but
somehow he wished Kyuhyun could have tried. Still, he's proud of Kyuhyun, he managed to pull this song off and with him singing
this, Sungmin smiled at him with tears flowing. He never doubted Kyuhyun's ability to sing, he never doubted Kyuhyun in anything. He
knew he'd do well.

Kyuhyun recalled the time Sungmin fell on his knees and can barely move. The shaking hands and the pale face of his sickly beloved.
He can't take it. He blinked once more and he's back on stage singing, crooning to the audience.

Kyuhyun's gaze became more gentle as he sees Sungmin crying and smiling at the same time. The show must go on but seeing the older
man in tears and yet seemingly proud of him is still a bit burden.

'You'll be a great singer.' Sungmin was the first person to believe in him.
'I'm asking myself how I ended up falling for you-' he remembered talking to Sungmin. The older smiling. 'Sungmin ah, I'm quite
serious about it.'
"Then be serious about it.' He hears Sungmin's voice continuously letting him see their past. How he fell endlessly for the older man.

Yes, one more time. Sungmin ah,  once again, one more time.

Sungmin smiled at him and said "You did well" silently. Kyuhyun read his lips as he continuously sings. His heart is aching, he wants to
he see Sungmin smiling without those tears in his eyes. He wants to see those sunbeam in his lips again. He wants to hold those
perfect set of hands again. He wants to kiss those sweet lips again. Sungmin ah...once again, one more time.

Eotteoke Eotteoke [How? How?]

"I'm sorry"

Kyuhyun read Sungmin's lips muttering those words. All smiles and tears mixed up in his beautiful pale face, the older opened his mouth
slightly gasping for air and started walking away before Kyuhyun could even finish the last ad lib.

Kyuhyun didn't bother bowing down to the audience when he saw Sungmin disappearing from the crowd. He immediately left the stage
without waiting for Hyukjae who felt so left out. Still, the audience were all touched and cheered for their performance. Kyuhyun
took out his cheap coat and started running, he didn't bother taking his make up off as
well. He frantically left the whole event knowing he won't be needed as he has done his part already and wonderfully.

He started running around; looking, searching for Sungmin. Today is his last day, and Sungmin didn't even say goodbye properly to the
younger man, what kind of attitude is that? He stopped and shook his head. Say goodbye properly? Would he want Sungmin to say goodbye
properly? Once again, one more time. Those lines keep on singing in his mind.

Kyuhyun saw Donghae and the rest of his friends in the far most area from the stage.

"Leeteuk hyung." Kyuhyun said while catching his breath.

Hyung? When did this man learn the word honorifics? The rest of Sungmin's friends looked at each other. Kyuhyun swallowed some
air before continuing. "Where is Sungmin?"

Again, they looked at each other and Donghae looked at him with his mouth pursed a bit. "He probably didn't stay long, from
what I know, he'll be going to Jeju now. Didn't he tell you?"

Jeju? Kyuhyun crossed his eyebrows and closed his eyes while shaking his head disappointedly. He started running again, out of the
school, that is, he needs to catch Sungmin up.

Once again, one more time

*Author's note: I remember- I am so addicted to this song. When I
first heard of this and read the translations, I immediately started crying. Although
I preferred Daehyun's version than Yoseob's hahaha. Yeah, it broke my heart and I told myself
I'll put this in my fanfic someday.
Daydreaming- This is my favourite track in the 6th album, the level of emotions
I had when I listened to this song is equal to My Love, My Kiss, My Heart in the 5th
album. When I heard this in the medley, I already said, I like this. And when I first listened to the
whole song, I haven't read the translations but I started crying. It immediately became my
favourite. And who doesn't love Sungmin's meomunda~ part. I swore this album is really his 
shining moment.

I thought of using once again, one more time as the title of this chapter but I wouldn't
want to lighten up your mood as soon as you guys see the title >:)  But well, I think you have
guessed what would happen next. What do you think? Shall I go easy on Kyuhyun or...?

Offtopic: I'm actually upset today. I just found out that Wang LeeHom is going to have
a concert in Singapore and I was like anticipating to watch him live for my whole life and told myself
I wont missed it for anything. But I just found out that the concert was yesterday and I am
tormented that I have to find out just a day after. I wish I could have found out a month after then
I won't feel this upset. I can't believe I was crying a while ago while listening to his Heartbeat live.
I've always wanted to listen to that song live because that's the best song I've ever heard. TT_TT
Oh regrets. I hate what I'm feeling right now. T_T
