Sungmin has become quiet the whole time even until they were back in the city. He is still bothered with those 'growing old together'
plans of Kyuhyun. Has Kyuhyun really decided that they will stay together forever? He's too young and has a handsome face, he's
intelligent, genius to be exact, he's got wits and talent, he can easily find someone else. How can Kyuhyun think he'd really stay
with only Sungmin for the rest of his life?  "Are you ok? You seemed a little distracted." Kyuhyun asked. He just smile slightly
and nodded his head. "Sure?"

He nodded once again and smiled. "I'm just tired." He looked down and thought of the things Kyuhyun told him earlier on.

"I've been alone for a long time." he remembered Kyuhyun leaning his head on the older's shoulder. "That's why when we got back
together, I've decided not to let go of you anymore. Sungmin ah, let's stay together for a lifetime, yes?"

He could just smile at Kyuhyun, how short is this man going to spend time with him if they are talking about lifetime? Sungmin
cannot promise anything. He doesn't have a lifetime to consider, he only has months or probably days and if that's considered a
lifetime, it's too damn short for both of them. Even he feels disappointed if a lifetime is as short as his ed up life.
If only he is healthy, he knows he can fulfill a lifetime with Kyuhyun for sure. Because this man, is the only person he wants to
be with if there is such thing as forever.

Once back in the city, Kyuhyun sighed with a smile. "This has been a great day. Sungmin ah, let's do this more often. I mean,
spend the whole day together." he took the older's hand and kissed the knuckles of it. Sungmin sighed. He can't do this.

"Kyuhyun ah..." he called and stopped walking. The younger turned to him with a smile. Sungmin sighed and looked serious. If this
is how Kyuhyun would want them to be, he can't be able to pretend everything is fine. He already hates the fact that Kyuhyun is
planning their 'growing old' together and now he can feel that the younger is deeply attached to him. How can he even pretend he's
not sick if Kyuhyun is like this? How can he even look at those eyes knowing Kyuhyun expects him to stay forever. He doesn't like
living to anybody's expectations and the young man's expectations is way too much for him. Furthermore, he wouldn't want to see
Kyuhyun being disappointed with him if this thing in his brain become worst. He closed his eyes for some time before looking away
from Kyuhyun.

"Let's break up."

Kyuhyun's smile slowly disappeared when he heard those words. "What?" he chuckled. Sungmin must be joking. He's got to be kidding.
They just got back together, Sungmin just met his parents, they've just had a good time planning their future together.
"What are you talking about?"

Sungmin shrugged his shoulders calmly. "Let's break up."

Kyuhyun chuckled with disbelief, he touched his forehead, he's not quite ready for this. Why would he- he can't say the word.
It's not like its forbidden but somehow he didn't think he would use it especially to the older man. "Sungmin ah, we- we just had
a good time a while ago, now you want to- Did I do something that you didn't like? Just-just tell me and I'll fix it." he said in
panic.

Sungmin closed his eyes shortly. What else can he say? Kyuhyun in panic is something he didn't expect to see. Even under his most
pressured situation, Kyuhyun would rather get hurt than panic. Kyuhyun asking him what is wrong and wanting to fix thing immediately
shows the the younger lowers his almighty pride just to keep Sungmin. The more Sungmin can't take it. It shouldn't be this way.
Maybe it's really time to cut all the lies. "I just..." he sighed.

"I have cancer."

"What?"

"I have a brain tumor."

Kyuhyun crossed his eyebrows and shook his head swiftly once as if he doesn't understand a word from Sungmin's mouth.

"You see, Kyuhyun, I cannot be with you for a lifetime so while it's still early, let's stop this and just move on."

Kyuhyun tried to make everything sink in his mind, he knows he's intelligent but somehow he probably missed a word or two in between
that he can't get himself to understand a thing. Sungmin is breaking up with him, now he's saying he has brain tumor and then
he wants to stop and just move on. Everything doesn't make sense to him. It just doesn't make sense to him.

"Sungmin ah..."

"I can't be with you for a lifetime."

A lifetime is just a term for Kyuhyun. A term to say he wants to be with Sungmin for good. Why is Sungmin making a big deal about
it? He just...

"I don't understand." really, Sungmin breaking up with him now is something he can't understand. What the hell is going on?

"Goodbye."

Sungmin closed his eyes as well as his fist as he forced himself to walk away. He won't look back to where he left the young man.
He needs to walk quickly, and so he did, even occassionally running to make sure Kyuhyun won't catch up. He stopped when he's
sure the younger is not trailing him. He looked down. I'm sorry, Kyuhyun ah.

What did Sungmin say? Why is he breaking up with Kyuhyun? What wrong did he do this time? He looked at Sungmin's disappearing
figure and questioned himself what happened. And what was the brain tumor thing he is talking about? Why would he have a brain
tumor when he's only 25? He's too young to have it.

For the past days, Kyuhyun tried to look for Sungmin but the older is nowhere to be found. He even dropped by their house to see
if Sungmin is inside but there is no one there. Where is he? He needs to patch things up with him. He hopes Sungmin is not
purposely avoiding him. Kyuhyun admits that he never lower his pride to anyone, but Sungmin is not just anyone. He is Sungmin and
if Kyuhyun needs to swallow up his pride just to make things up with him, he'll be glad to do it. He's at his most sincerest when
he said he wants to be with the older for the rest of his life.

Days passed by and Kyuhyun is still looking for him. He noticed Donghae walking with Hyukjae. He knows Donghae is a close friend
of Sungmin and he'd know better where the older is. He discreetly follow them. The two were walking hands interlaced and in quick
pace.

"I'm going to see Sungmin hyung in the hospital today, do you want to come?" Donghae asked his lover.

"Sure. I can finally meet your hyungs if I come, right?" It's not like its still a secret but Donghae insist not to introduce his
boyfriend yet to his friends. They are quite straightforward and he knows Hyukjae is quite sensitive, he might not like it if he
hears something bad about it. Furthurmore, Leeteuk hyung can be very naughty and who knows what kind of tricks he'll pull to his
innocent boyfriend.

Kyuhyun wondered why Sungmin is in the hospital. He recalled what he said when they broke up. Brain tumor? He wouldn't want to
mention those words again. It can't be. He's way too healthy to have it. Besides, he's Lee Sungmin what flaw can he have?
Brain tumor? tsch. Impossible.

He continued following the two until they've reached the hospital. Donghae and Hyukjae went straight inside the room while Kyuhyun
looked around trying to look for Sungmin's name.

He stopped when he got what he's looking for.
Room: 231
Patient's name: Lee Sungmin

Kyuhyun looked up to see the sign board. Cancer ward. He crossed his eyebrows. He held on to the steel bar of the slide door. It's
not like he believes it is Sungmin, the Sungmin that he knows, but he just want to confirm. He's quite brain washing his head
that Donghae has probably another friend named Lee Sungmin. He was about to push the slide door but before he could open it...

"Kyuhyun ah..."

He turned to the side and saw Leeteuk beside him. Kyuhyun's head tilted a bit and wondered why even Leeteuk is here. Is Sungmin
such a common name that Leeteuk has 2 Sungmin friends as well as Donghae? He wondered trying to disguise the fear that maybe,
just maybe...

"Is this the person we both know?" he asked in a serious tone, slowly letting all the things that has been said and heard sink in
his clouded brain.

*Author's note: it's kinda crappy. I'm feeling crappy because of this.
Anyways, this is the other lost chapter. I'll update the latest, real update
for this fanfic tonight. uh, I hope I haven't lost the touch, it's been a while
since the last real update considering I always update on time. TSCH!!!
