Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong and Donghae were all standing around Sungmin's hospital bed, giving him warm smile to encourage him to
get better. Shindong extended a basket of fruits for him.

"Our Sungminnie rarely gets sick. You deserve a break from school." Shindong said while smiling. The rest of the guys smiled as well
while Sungmin nodded. The fat hyung's silly smiled turned gentle. "Sungmin ah, you are our most normal friend, you lying down in
a hospital bed is something I'm not used to. You have to get well soon." The patient looked down and nodded. It will be nice if he
can really get better.

"Hyung," Donghae said, he looked down when he met Sungmin's eyes. "About what you find out...I wanted to say tell you... but"

"Aigoo~ why are you ruining the mood, this silly fish!" Sungmin said while smiling. He sighed and looked down. "I already know
what's going on, that's enough."

"Yah, yah, let's not talk about it anymore." Yesung started. "Sungmin ah, do you want some fruits? I'll peel some for you." he said
as he walked around the hospital bed and took the knife and an apple. "Our Sungmin seldom gets sick, Hyung will give you some
special treatment today." he said eagerly as he started peeling the apple.

"That's right, Min doesn't get sick too often." Leeteuk said. "Sungmin ah, if you want anything right now, just tell us and we'll
get it for you." the rest nodded eagerly showing their happy and cheerful smile.

Sungmin felt like crying as he watched his friends. Seeing them treating him extra nicely, he felt he's becoming unfair that he
is lying about his real condition. All of them are expecting him to get better and be on his feet once again but, they have no idea
that the thing in his brain is growing and is probably going to kill him soon. He looked down and thought for a while.

"Yah! You were so eager to peel the apple, look at what you're doing!" Shindong scolded Yesung. "Look how ugly the apple is! Do you
expect Sungmin to eat that?" Yesung looked at the apple and noticed that he's peeling it unevenly. Donghae made a tsk sound and
took the apple and knife from his hyung.

"I'm an apple expert, let me." Sungmin watched his friends as they fight over the peeling job making him feel more happy and sad
at the same time. Happy that they are doing these things to make him feel better yet sad with the thought that they are really
oblivious about what is happening to him.

Leeteuk hit Donghae at the side of his head. "You call that expert? You're peeling it with the apple meat!" The youngest looked at
the apple and wondered why the apple looked smaller than when Yesung was the one peeling it.

Sungmin swallowed and called them. "Hyungs!" the rest of his hyungs including Donghae stopped fighting over who will peel the already
brown and rather disappointingly looking apple and turned to him. Sungmin bit his lips before saying something.

"Sungmin ah, do you need anything?" Leeteuk asked.

"Actually..." Sungmin met their eyes one by one. He breathe in and finally said what he wants to say.

"I have cancer."

The rest of the guys did not respond too quickly. They just looked at each other and used their eyes to ask one another. What did
Sungmin say? Yesung thinks he misheard it for something. Donghae looked at Shindong like what-is-he-talking-about kind of look
while Leeteuk crossed his eyebrows.

"What are you talking about?" Leeteuk chuckled. "You're the healthiest among all of us." he smile slowly disappeared when he saw
Sungmin's eyes. He can see that his friend is not kidding about what he said a while ago.

Sungmin made sure to keep this thing a secret for quite some time now and whenever he will have the chemotherapy
he makes sure, he has a believable excuse such as going for a vacation with his mom or visiting a sick relative. But after
what happened the other day, he's quite sure his friends will be doubting about his excuses and with how they treat him now, he
thinks they deserve to know what is really happening to him.

"I was diagnosed some months ago." Sungmin explained while Leeteuk crossed his eyebrows and shook his head. "I've been undergoing
chemotherapy for quite some time now. All the times when I haven't been in school, I am in the hospital for the chemo."

"Wait..." Donghae said as he closed his eyes and tried to calm down. "Hyung, did you just say..."

Sungmin looked at him calmly. "I have a brain tumor."

He saw his friends' eyes all with disbelief. How possible it is that their healthiest friend, their friend who doesn't seemed to
get tired from all the activities, their friend who never complained about projects and performances in school have a brain tumor?

"It's somewhere here..." Sungmin casually pointed at the top left side part of his brain. "They said it grew a centimeter when I
passed out."

"Sungmin ah..." Leeteuk said.

Sungmin looked down. "I didn't tell you guys earlier because I don't want you to worry about me. But hearing that it grew bigger,
I thought I don't want to surprise everyone if I die all of a sudden." he bit his lips and waited for his hyungs' scolding. He
quite deserve to be scolded since he has been lying to them all this time.

Leeteuk hugged his dongsaeng who was startled by his action. "You silly bunny, if you have told us earlier, we could have been
there to support you earlier. We could have understood why you are too normal, Sungmin ah..." his hyung doesn't know how else to
express his feelings, Sungmin just smiled and hugged his hyung back.

"Sorry, Teukie hyung."

"Don't say sorry to me." Leeteuk straightened up and patted his head. "From now on, whatever it is that hurts you and gives you
pain, you'll have to tell us. You've been fighting this on your own, I'll make sure all of us will back you up from now on. Sungmin ah,
you have to be strong, understand?"

Sungmin smiled at Leeteuk and nodded his head. "Thank you, hyung. I knew I choose the right people to be my friends."

They all find it cheesy but it's not everyday when they will hug each other so they drop their cool images and hugged each other.

"Our Sungmin, you must march with us, understand? We'll be joining the same company once we graduated and we'll form our own
group." Shindong said. Sungmin smiled and nodded.

Donghae had his turn in hugging his favourite hyung, "Hyung, when you get well, I'll admit to everyone that I'm dating Hyukkie."
he said totally forgetting that he is not alone with Sungmin in the room.

Sungmin chuckled and looked at him. "Donghae ah... you just did." Donghae closed his eyes tightly and refused to let go of his
hyung just to hide his reddened face. Stupid, Donghae ah! When can you start learning you stupid fish!

"Sungmin ah, you have to stay strong..." Sungmin wondered why Yesung's speech is quite short. It's weird that his talkative hyung
has lesser words to say right now. "Hyung is..." Yesung looked down trying his best not to choke, he chuckled trying to
hide the upcoming tears. "I mean..." he blinked and didn't notice his tears coming out. He sighed and remained quiet...

"Thank you, Yesung hyung." he said, whatever it is that Yesung cannot say, he understands it. It is not everyday when he sees his
dorky hyung choking in tears like that, he find Yesung's tears quite precious as they don't usually come out. He felt really
touched.

He looked at Leeteuk while Yesung is still embracing him. The eldest smiling gently and nodding his head.

"What's this?" Sungmin asked Leeteuk as he handed a couple of cash to his dongsaeng. He was sent out of the hospital the day after
his friends visited him. He's quite glad that nothing has changed with the way they treat him which is good because he wouldn't
want to be treated differently. Leeteuk met him after class for a small chat.

"This is money that you gave to Kyuhyun." Sungmin remembered throwing a couple of cash to the younger's face. He was thankful to
his Leeteuk that he was kind enough to use the word gave than threw. His heart felt pain for the young man, he didn't mean to
insult Kyuhyun. He shouldn't have done that. No matter how bad the younger man did, he really shouldn't have done that. Now that
they are talking about him, how is he? Sungmin knows better not to think of the man who was paid to date him, but can he stop
himself? Cho Kyuhyun was the only person who has made his heart do somersault and flips around by just looking at him.

"Sungmin ah..." he looked up and looked at his hyung. "I really don't know how you two ended up dating but a transaction is a
transaction so when we learned that you are dating him, we continued our business and paid him for every date you will have with
him..." Leeteuk explained with his eyes meeting Sungmin.

Leeteuk knows he is the mastermind for all of this and Kyuhyun shouldn't take all the blame. He made a transaction with this man and
he's only doing his part. After knowing why Kyuhyun returned the money and finding out about Sungmin's condition, he knows that
he should tell his dongsaeng about what happened after he left the scene that day.

"Hyung-"

"Let me finish first." Leeteuk said. He brought out the white envelope Kyuhyun gave him. "This is everything he earned from dating
you. I should have known why he come to me and handed this but you came before he could even explain everything. He said he
wouldn't want to accept the money anymore because he is sincere in dating you."

Sungmin swallowed when he heard it. Should he have listened to Kyuhyun? But Kyuhyun didn't even say anything that time. He didn't
even try to explain himself or defend himself from Sungmin's accusation. He just keep quiet and looked at him, admitting all the
things he has done. Sungmin looked down. Fool, if you could have said something, we won't be like this at all.

"I understand why you're upset. But this isn't all Kyuhyun's fault. I'm at fault as well. And I won't take advantage of our
friendship just so I can escape the blame."

Sungmin looked at the money and calmly breathe out. Why didn't Kyuhyun tell him about this? He could have been less upset with what
he did. He sighed. Can he still make up with the young man? Kyuhyun doesn't seem to be interested in making up anymore. He didn't
even showed up to him in the hospital. Sungmin showed a straight smile to his hyung.

"Thanks, Leeteuk Hyung. Thanks for telling me."

Since everything is clear now, Sungmin is thinking whether he should go to Kyuhyun and patch things up with him. Since the younger
man is sincere about him, who makes the first move wouldn't matter, right? On second thought, Kyuhyun must be disappointed that
he accused him before clearing things out. Maybe he doesn't want to make things up anymore.

Sungmin sighed and thought a little bit more. If he goes to Kyuhyun now, wouldn't he be too easy for the younger man? And it's not
like he's at fault, isn't it? Where that young man anyway?
