Lee Umma was running wearily towards the corridor of the hospital and completely ignored Leeteuk and Kyuhyun's existence
despite them standing up and bowing, well they quite understand why. Sungmin is not the type who easily fall sick and seeing him
fainting just like that is something really worrisome. Lee Umma immediately check on her son. She talked to the doctor while
Leeteuk and Kyuhyun are outside waiting.

Kyuhyun was standing up, biting his thumbnail and walking around. He can't keep calm. He needs to know and be sure that Sungmin
is fine. Why did he faint just like that? Did something happened when he ran away? Kyuhyun blames himself for not running
immediately after him.

The door opened and both guys saw Lee Umma more calmer. "He's fine. The doctor said he's blood is too low and the weather must
have affected him that's why he fainted."

Leeteuk nodded. "Is it anything serious? We seldom see Sungmin getting sick so..."

"He's fine." Lee Umma assured them.

Leeteuk accepted the reason and nodded at Kyuhyun. "Lee Umma, we'll let Sungmin rest, we'll take a leave for now. Please update
us about his health."

Lee Umma nodded as Leeteuk bowed shortly and turned his back on the old woman. However, Kyuhyun doesn't seemed to want to leave.
He wants to check on Sungmin, see him inside his room; is he asleep? is he having a hard time? pain? How fine exactly is he? Lee
Umma took notice of his way of looking at Sungmin's room and decided to call for him.

"Are you Cho Kyuhyun?" Kyuhyun immediately looked at Lee Umma in the eyes. "Can I talk to you for a while?"

Kyuhyun nodded politely and let Leeteuk make his move out of the hospital.

Lee Umma turned to him. "So you're Cho Kyuhyun. Sungmin mentions you a lot to me." she said. Kyuhyun looked down upon hearing it,
he knows he doesn't deserve to be treated by Sungmin's mom like this after what happened to her son just now. Lee Umma seemed to
be a nice person, just like her son. The gentleness of the way she looks at Kyuhyun made him feel comfortable with her presence.

"I-" Kyuhyun started.

"Sungmin likes you a lot." Lee Umma smiled gently. "He said he's happy when you're around."

Kyuhyun looked down when he heard those words "I- I actually did something bad to him. I made him upset with me." he met Lee
Umma's eyes shortly before finishing his sentence. "He'll probably won't talk to me anymore."

Lee Umma wondered why Kyuhyun would say that. She remembered Sungmin rolling on his bed, hitting his head on the pillows and
rolling some more because 'he was just too happy'. She remembered her son saying meeting Kyuhyun is the happiest thing that
happened to him. What could happen that Sungmin might not talk to this man anymore? Although curious, she knows better not to ask.
She knows her son so well that she doesn't need to ask anybody about what is going on in Sungmin's life. She smiled at Kyuhyun.

"If you are this honest to him, I don't see any reason why he won't talk to you."

"I hurt him... Mrs. Lee." Kyuhyun looked down with a guilty face. "I..." he sighed. "I tried to use him to escape my own troubles."

Lee Umma knows better than not to meddle in youngster's problem especially when her son is involve. She always believes Sungmin is
mature enough to face his own problems but since Kyuhyun is being honest, maybe she can help a bit. "Did you intentionally hurt him?"

Kyuhyun looked down. Falling for him was not part of his intention. Did he hurt Sungmin intentionally? "I don't know."

Lee Umma nodded. "You are an honest child. I haven't seen anyone admitting to have hurt someone." she held Kyuhyun's hand and
smiled gently. The young man doesn't know why but the touch of her hands made him miss his own mom. Is this really
what you called mother's touch? "Kyuhyun ah, Sungmin is not the type who will say when he is in pain. He is the type who endures
it and will keep it to himself. If he really is hurt because of what you did, you probably mean something to him."

Kyuhyun looked at Lee Umma in the eyes. Why is Sungmin's mom saying all this to him? He has put Sungmin in pain and has hurt
him because of his very own foolish acts, she's supposed to despise him but it seems like she wants Kyuhyun not to feel guilty
about what he has done. Are there really this good people in the world?

He looked down once again. He doesn't need to hear those words from Sungmin's mom because he can really see that he meant
something for Sungmin, from the way the older man looks at him and the way he kisses
him and the way he stays beside him at his lowest point. He knows he meant something for Sungmin and he has disappointed the man
who has taught him how to value someone other than himself.

Lee Umma went back to the room and saw Sungmin awake. "Umma..."

"Are you feeling better?" Lee Umma asked him gently. Sungmin looked down. It was the first time he felt that kind of extreme pain
in his head after having the treatment. What could have happen to him?

"What did the doctor say?" he asked.

Lee Umma looked down and calmly said. "It grew a centimeter."

Sungmin swallowed and was surprised. Did they miss any treatment? Did he forget to take any of his medicine? Was he over using
his body? What?

"Doctor Park said you may need stronger pain killers this time." Lee Umma said. She sat beside him with an assuring smile. Sungmin
looked down. Is he going to die soon? Great! He just learned that Kyuhyun was paid to date him and now he finds out that the
tumor grew a centimeter big. What's next? He's going to find out that Yesung's turtle is gay?! Ok, that's random.
He is indeed the epitomy of 'forever alone'. He'll die being single, boo!

"Kyuhyun was the one who brought you to the hospital." He raised his head when he heard the magic name but immediately look away,
he is still upset with what he find out a while ago. Why didn't he say anything? At least acknowledge what he did and explain
or just say sorry everything is just a lie or anything except silence. Silence is the least he needed in that kind of situation.
He doesn't understand why Kyuhyun just shut his mouth like that.

"He said he hurt you."

Sungmin looked down and clenched his jaw. He remembered how Kyuhyun looked at him as if admitting he really agreed to be paid
just to date him. If he at least say sorry... or defend himself. Aish~ Sungmin thought of excuses that Kyuhyun could have said but
everything has been done, he chose silence.

"Did he really..."

"Leeteuk hyung paid him to date me." Sungmin said with much bitterness in his voice. Lee Umma can tell he is really upset with
the tone of his voice. Remembering how Kyuhyun looked a while ago, now she knows why Kyuhyun said he hurt Sungmin. Although
she seems to see that the young man looked sorry for what he did.

"Was it like a bet or something for fun?" Lee Umma asked carefully. Sungmin looked at her shortly before remembering the
threat he and Kyuhyun found posted on the bulletin board. The threat said Kyuhyun needs to give back the money or they will hunt
the younger man in school. Were those true? Remembering how the things in Kyuhyun's house are patched with glues and tapes, maybe
it is true.

"Have you ever thought that maybe... he needs the money?"

Sungmin looked at her again and kept quiet. His mom sighed and placed her hand on his hand.

"Sungmin ah, you always say it wouldn't matter what I do, why I do it is what matters most." Sungmin looked down and
felt guilty, does Kyuhyun really need that amount of money that's why he agreed to do such thing? Were those threats in the board
real? Does he really need money desperately? Are those people really going to hurt him? Is Kyuhyun's life really like that? He
remembered throwing some money in the younger's face, he felt sorry that he did that. Kyuhyun must feel even smaller and insulted
because of what he did.

Lee Umma looked at her suddenly bothered son. At some point, she has the intention of making Sungmin think of what happened in a
different side and it seems like she succedded it.
