A/N: So, I wrote some of this just after an emotional breakdown.
Everything is fine now, but if the chapter is a bit ‘meh’ that’s why~

The next day was filled with boredom and loneliness. The Super Junior members were all busy with some comeback-preparations and I was not allowed to stalk them since it was ‘secret’ and all that. After watching three different TV-shows and practice dancing for an hour I got bored. What could I do to make myself both useful and not bored? It wasn’t like the dorm needed to be cleaned, it got cleaned just the day I arrived or something and I couldn’t find any dust.

Walking around in the dorm made me realize something as I reached the room that should be used as an office but still were empty.

I hadn’t any room prepared for Samantha. And she would arrive soon.

I found my phone and went through my contacts to find Donghee. Yesterday I had went with some of the members to get my new number and all that, so now I could call. I didn’t get their numbers though – too shy to ask. I didn’t thought he would pick up but, surprisingly, he did!

“Heemin ah? What’s up?” he asked in a very relaxed voice.

“Is Heechul with you? I need to ask him something,” I said and sat down in the window in the office and looked out. It was a pretty nice view we had here actually~

“Heechul hyung? Why him?”

“It’s about Sam staying here,” I answered, “I have something to talk to him about.” I smiled a bit.

“Oh… he told me you had agreed on letting her stay~” Was it just me or did he sound… proud? Wtf?

“Yeah… Can I speak to him for a moment? Please~?” I was getting impatient. I wanted to talk to him now, not in five minutes! D:

“Neh, one moment!” I heard my cousin yell after Heechul and waited some seconds before he got the phone.

“You’re talking to Kim Heechul. What can I do your you miss?”

“W-where do you plan that Sam can sleep?” I asked, “it isn’t like I have an extra bed here or anything. Only an e-empty room~”

“Ouh…” he hesitated, “I’m having some hours off tomorrow. Let’s go shopping then~ We can find her a bed and a closet and such things!” I thought for a moment. Did I have any plans?

…

Why even ask.

“Uhm… okay,” I said, “I’m getting bored easily anyways…” I could hear him chuckle.

“You need a hobby,” I could hear him say and I couldn’t help but smile.

“Yeah… or a job,” I bit my lip, “when are you off tomorrow?”

Around 3pm I decided to go for a walk. Even though it wasn’t a sunny day I might as well get some fresh air… and find good places in this neighborhood to eat or hang out at. I found a grocery store after ten minutes but just walked past it, memorizing the place for later use. I also went past a street with small shops but resisted the urge to go and take a look. I had to save money now, even though I hadn’t paid for the apartment myself. But still! I should seriously try to get a job soon… I couldn’t live on Donghee’s money and I still refused to use any from my parents right now.

I ended up in a park, near a little lake where kids were feeding the ducks. Kids played around with the bread while their parents either sat and watched them from afar or told them how to do it. Some old couple also walked around, hand in hand, and sometime throwing some bred to the ducks who dared to near. I couldn’t help but smile at those two – such an old and happy couple. They would have a lot of history together, wouldn’t they? Maybe they were kids under the second world war and experienced that hell I had heard it was here. And then the Korean war came which shouldn’t either had been funny at all. I had seen a lot of pictures from that time and heard stories from elders who lived in that time. Some were old soldiers while some were normal living people. I had traveled a lot…

“Noona? Are you alone?” A little boy stood right in front of me and looked curious at me. I send him a smile.

“Yes I am… you aren’t, are you?” I looked around to see if some parents looked in this direction but no one really did. Strange~

“My dad went to buy some ice-cream,” he smiled and handed me some bread-crumps, “don’t you wanna feed the ducks too? There are a lot today,” he send me the most adorable smile and I couldn’t help but chuckle and nod.

“Do you think I should?” I said as he randomly took my hand and pulled me with him closer to the lake. I couldn’t help but wonder how his dad would react when he saw me with the kid…

The little boy reached his hand out in front of him against the ducks and instantly they all waddled to us, trying to be the one to quack the loudest. I smiled and got on knees, also holding my hand against them.

“Dongho-ah, what are you doing?!” A man walked against us with two ice-creams, “what have I told you about talking to strangers? I’m sorry miss,” he looked at me, “Dongho is a bit… free and daring if you can say it like that,” he smiled and I send him a smile back and shook my head.

“It’s okay~ The kid- Dongho seems like a nice kid,” I said and got up, “but maybe you should have taken him with you. Who knows what kind of types he could have talked to?” The father nodded.

“Yeah, you’re right. Thanks for looking out for him,” I just nodded with a smile.

“My pleasure…” I bowed, “take care~” Then I waved to Dongho, “bye Dongho-ah~”

I spend some hours at the lake, sitting on a bench and watching different people, just relaxing. I didn’t really notice that the weather started turning more dark, like the clouds got darker and families started to leave. It was first when the first drops of rain hit my face I realized it. I got up and started half-running against the dorm. I hadn’t even left the park before the rain got worse and the first thunderclap came. It surprised me. A lot. I felt my body start shaking and tears appear in my eyes. Then the lightening came and a scream escaped my mouth. Then everything got blurry and how I found home was a mystery to me…

“Hyung, why is some wet girl laying in front of our dorm? Should we call the security?” The voice was known but I couldn’t put a face on him. All I knew was that I now had someone near I knew now.

“A wet girl? Huh? You’re right…” I heard steps near, “is she awake?”

“I don’t know… but she is shaking a lot,” the first guy said with a kinda worried voice.

“Is she okay?” I heard steps near even more. I wanted to look at them but my head wouldn’t listen.

“Hyung-”

“Ryeowook, she is one girl. We are two guys, I don’t think security is necessary,” the guy chuckled a bit. I sensed a body sit down beside mine and then someone who lightly touched my shoulder.

“Miss? Are you okay?” I heard him ask. Still shaking, I finally got to turn my head a bit and I saw him widen his eyes.

“H-Heemin-ssi? Is that you?” he asked. I nodded and smiled a bit. Or, that’s what I think I did.

“Heemin?” Ryeowook came now closer, “gosh, it is! Heemin, what are you doing here? In that state?”

Before I had the change to answer, my body finally decided to close down. Everything went dark…

I woke up on a couch, facing the back of it, cuddled up with a blanket. It sounded like there were more than a few members in the living room by the mumbling and those breaths I could hear.

“What could have happened to her?” One asked clearly. I think… I think it was Donghae…

“It might be because of the thunder…” I heard my cousin say. I twitched my the word ‘thunder’.

“The thunder? Why-?”

“You would have to ask her for the details… it’s none of my business,” I heard him hesitate, “but the accident her parents died in was in weather like this…”

“O-Oppa…” I managed to say as I turned around, looking at him. He widened his eyes, then smiled in relief.

“You woke up,” he said, “feeling better?” I nodded slowly and got up. It wasn’t like anything big had happened anyways… just a blackout…

“I… I made some tea for you,” Ryeowook said, “I’ll just get~” Then he hurried to the kitchen.

“It was Wookie and Donghae who found you, you know…” Donghee sat down on the table in front of the couch and looked at me, “where had you been? And why didn’t you return to your home?” I smiled a bit and shrugged.

“I… I went to a park and were there for some hours… but I don’t clearly remember what happened after the first thunderclap, only that… I needed someone to be near,” I said, “I… it might be that’s why I ended here…”
