“The jet isn’t ready yet?” Kyuhyun asked his secretary annoyed. They had just arrived 5 minutes ago; Kyuhyun wasn’t a man who liked to wait.

“Yes, I’m sorry Mr. Cho, there’s… some problems.” The man whispered his last words.

“What problems?!” Kyuhyun scoffed out before his secretary pointed to the airport guards looking at him. He scoffed once again, as if airport guards could stop him and his money “Fix it quickly, we need to leave.” He calmly said.

Seohyun was still sitting while she waited, her phone buzzed inside her purse again, and she sneakily looked at it. She knew it was a message from Yonghwa, and she just sighed ignoring the message again.

Just as if he was seeing her, when she looked away from the phone, another message arrived, it was him again. This time, she open it.

She was just going to reply ‘Don’t look for me anymore’ ‘Go make a new life with your wife and baby’ but she couldn’t help but read the message she received:

Please don’t leave. This is a tramp; Kyuhyun isn’t going to take you with your parents! 

Please listen to me!

She furrowed her browns looking up at her husband, just before a new message arrived.

I’m at the airport, outside, please come out, we need to talk.

She quickly placed her phone back inside her bag after Kyuhyun walked toward her “It seems like our flight was delayed. But don’t worry sweetheart, we will be going to San Francisco” he whispered in her ear close enough for her to feel his breath.

Seohyun cleared and stood up “O-okay… I need to go to the bathroom.” She said feeling nervous.

“Ok, Han, go with her.” He told one of the bodyguards.

“Alone. Can I?” Seohyun quickly said “I’m just going to the bathroom” Kyuhyun smirked standing up and walking toward her.

“Ok, but you better no try to run away, if you don’t want to see your parents again” he whispered in her ear again, serious, scary.

“N-no… Where could I run away?” she replied scared. Kyuhyun smirked once more before holding her face and kiss her hard.

“Don’t take so long.” He said after pulling away. With that scary look of him.

Seohyun nodded, scared still, and started to walk away. She wiped her lips and now, falling tears.

She was so scared her legs kept trembling, she actually had left to see Yonghwa, but once on her way there, she couldn’t help but think in her parents.

If she does go to Yonghwa, and Kyuhyun sees her or hears about it, she won’t be able to see her parents never again.

She then suddenly found herself in the bathrooms. Leaning her hands against the sink, her eyes fixed in her cell phone, she couldn’t go. She had to think in her parents first, in their safety. She couldn’t take the risk of Kyuhyun knowing she took this moment to go talk with Yonghwa.

She couldn’t.

She took a deep breath and finally lifted her cell phone from the sink, replying back to Yonghwa’s message.

Please stop contacting me.

She pressed the Send button with much regret.

This wasn’t what she wanted, even though he was going to have a child with her wife now; she still wanted to be with him.

But then again, she couldn’t. They couldn’t.

Taking off her sunglasses just to see her swollen eyes in the mirror reflection; the bruise next to her eye was still visible although she had cover it with makeup, or at least tried to. She gasped in pain as she tried to cover it again.

The door slowly opened and a man abruptly came in locking the door behind him “Yonghwa?” she asked surprised “What are you doing here?!”

“I waited, you didn’t arrive, so I came for you” he explained out of breath.

“What?” she asked confused just before Yonghwa took a handkerchief out of his back pocket and pressed it over Seohyun’s face, in seconds she fell unconscious.

“Sorry.” He apologized to the fainted Seohyun, holding her purse, he carried her bridal style and walked out, making sure no one was watching, and with ‘no one’ he meant Kyuhyun or his bodyguards.

He easily deceive the airport guards with his worried face and the “My wife fainted, I need to take her to the hospital”

“Yah! What exactly is going on?!”

Yonghwa had called his friend a few minutes ago, Jungshin, he needed to do a quick getaway and he couldn’t do so with a motorcycle and an unconscious Juliet.

Just before he left to look for Seohyun, his friend arrived, with the special delivery.

They put the motorcycle at the back of the truck and he took the soaked handkerchief before rushing inside to the bathrooms.

From the outside, he could see them, and saw Seohyun walking inside, he then thought she had changed her mind and won’t be coming out, as he had guessed. That’s why he asked his friend to bring the ‘special liquid’.

“Just get in the truck!” Yonghwa order him after he placed the still unconscious Seohyun inside.

“Where do I go?!” Jungshin asked as he hurried to drive away.

“Just keep driving, I haven’t think of a place yet.” Yonghwa replied while still cautiously looking back.

“Yah, this is your new part time job, kidnap women?” Jungshin mocked “You aren’t doing a good job, you should think about the place you’ll bring them first before knock them out.”

“Shut up and keep driving.” Yonghwa ignored his tease and kept looking back.

“Why are you kidnapping girls, who is she?” he asked looking down at Seohyun “She’s pretty, but dude, this is w—oh wait, I’m helping you kidnap a girl!” he just then realized and brutally turned the car aside pressing the brakes.

The distracted Yonghwa, who wasn’t wearing the seatbelt, crashed his head against the desk board and fell unconscious “Oh great, now I have two unconscious people” Jungshin sighed pushing Yonghwa back and started to drive once again.

“Sir, it seems like we won’t be able to leave the country today.”

“What are you talking about?” Kyuhyun asked annoyed at his secretary, he backed off when the police arrived.

“Mr. Cho, if you aren’t busy right now, may you accompany us?” the prosecutor said in a serious tone.

Kyuhyun scoffed “You must be new.” He said eyeing him from head to toe “Ok, let’s go, since you’re new, you need to be teach some stuff.” He calmly replied.

“Go look for my wife, and send her back home.” He then order him to one of his bodyguards, he nodded and made his way toward the bathrooms.

Walking slowly and calmly to the outside, after a while, the same bodyguard send to look for Seohyun, ran toward Kyuhyun out of breath “Mr. Cho, Mrs. Cho has disappeared.”

“What?!” he yelled, the prosecutor glared at him, the calm self he had showed all this while was fading away. He cleared his throat and loosened his necktie “Look for that everywhere and bring her back home, I don’t care what you do, just bring her home.” He whispered to the bodyguard, he nodded and along with 4 others, they left to look for her.

“There’s something wrong Mr. Cho?” the prosecutor asked to the clearly uneasy Kyuhyun.

He just laughed and fixed his suit “Nothing, nothing.”

“Your wife is missing, you want help?” the prosecutor asked him trying to make him lose composure.

But he was smart enough to quickly calm himself down in front of the police “Is fine, let’s just go.”

“Yah, yah, yah wake up” Jungshin called the still unconscious Yonghwa as he slightly slapped him “Wake up! Wake up!” he had already arrived to his parents vacation house, he didn’t knew where to go, and here was the first place he thought of.

He had already taken Seohyun to the bedroom and had locked her inside, he didn’t know who she was, and he was still thinking Yonghwa had actually kidnapped her.

Yonghwa was still unconscious and he was getting already annoyed, so this time slapped him hard “WAKE UP!!”

This time Yonghwa did wake up and jumped out of the couch “W-what…? Where I am?!” he asked still half sleep, he looked around and finally remember “Seohyun? Where is she?!” he hurriedly asked not minding the pain in his forehead, and cheek.

“Wake up, my parents’ vacation house in Wonju, the girl you kidnapped? I locked her inside the bedroom.” He answer all his questions “Don’t worry; I took her bag so she won’t try to call the police.”

“Yah!—we’re at Wonju? You drove all the way?!”

“Yeah, I’m so annoyed, now stand up and put this on your forehead, it stills bleeding.” Jungshin took the cotton soaked in alcohol and hand it to him.

Yonghwa touched his forehead and flinch in pain “What happened?” he asked after taking the cotton and painfully place it against is wound.

“You hit your head against the desk board.” Jungshin explained “Now tell me, who is that girl and why are you kidnapping her?”

“Aish, I‘m telling you I didn’t kidnapped her!”

“You brought her here after knock her out, which means she didn’t want to come in first place, which means you kidnapped her.”

“I didn’t not!—ah!” he flinched once again after Jungshin pressed the cotton against his wound again.

“So then?” he asked for an explanation.

Yonghwa sighed pulling down the cotton “Yeah, I guess I did kidnap her—“

“Aha!!” Jungshin stood up pointed at him “So then?” he then seriously asked after sitting down once again.

“By chance, do you remember—nah there’s no way you could remember.”

“What?”

“Nothing, she—“

“Ah~ what? Tell me, I can remember~” he whined.

“No you won’t, she—“

“I’m telling I’ll remember! Uh? Tell me, tell me!”

Yonghwa sighed once again and decided to tell him “From high school—“

“Ah I don’t remember.” Jungshin then quickly cut him off by waving his hand “So then?”

Yonghwa glared at him before continue talking “This girl is Seohyun, she used to go to our high school—“

“I don’t remember.”

“—of course you won’t!—I fall in love with her, no knowing her name—“

“That’s so you.”

“—yah! Will you let me tell you?”

“Ok, so then?”

Yonghwa frowned “So then!!” he yelled slightly mad “I married Shinhye not loving her, you know that?” he said looking at Jungshin and waiting for an answer, but he just stood there looking at him. Yonghwa frowned once again and continued talking “I’ve always been in love with Seohyun—“

“Seohyun who?” Jungshin interrupted him again.

“Aish~ yah!” Yonghwa stood up annoyed; he took a deep breath before start talking again.

“Hello?! Is anybody there?! Please help me!!” Jungshin and Yonghwa looked upstairs from where the yells where coming. It was Seohyun.

Yonghwa hurried himself upstairs and to the bedroom.

“Somebody help me!” Seohyun yelled once again while hitting the door.

“Yah the keys.” Yonghwa asked Jungshin and then went to calm Seohyun “Seohyun, calm down, is me Yonghwa. I’m gonna open the door, just wait up.”

Seohyun backed off while Yonghwa opened the door “Ok, is ok…” he said as soon as he came in. And just when he walked toward her, he received a hard slap.

“Yah you crazy man, how could you take me like that?!!” she cried out.

“Uhhh… I—bye.” Jungshin quickly said before leaving the room and closing the door behind.

Yonghwa lifted his gaze once again rubbing his now red cheek. This slap did hurt more than the one Jungshin gave him before.

 “Yeah, I’m sorry, I’m really sorry but I just… I need you to listen to me.” He said looking deeply into her teary eyes.

“I’m sorry, Seohyun, I couldn’t let you leave like that. With that bastard, I couldn’t.” he said trying to get slowly closer to her.

“Why would you?! Uh? You are having a baby with your wife, you already fixed things up with her, why you still looking for me?!”

“Because I love you!” he said holding her face “I love you, and I want to protect you.”

“Your baby—“

“That kid is not mine, I told you, I haven’t been with Shinhye in years. I’m getting divorced.” Seohyun looked into his eyes doubting “Yeah, is true this time, I am getting divorced.” Yonghwa smiled and wiped away her tears, she flinch in pain when her thumb touched the bruise next to her eye.

“Your husband did this to you?” he asked worriedly, she slowly nodded not being able to look into his eyes.

She felt so bad for had given herself to Kyuhyun the night before, just to be able to see her parents again, she had to do it. But it felt so wrong, now even, that she was in front of Yonghwa.

They were nothing, she had slept with her husband but she felt she had betrayed Yonghwa. She was feeling embarrassed.

Just as if he could read inside her head, he lifted her chin and looked deeply into her eyes “Don’t worry, everything is gonna be fine. I’m here for you; I will be with you no matter what.” He smiled placing a kiss on her forehead “I won’t criticize you for what you did, a reason is behind. So you don’t have to scared or embarrassed. I understand.” He comforted her.

Yonghwa made her feel so loved, everything and everyone were forgotten whenever he was with her. All those sweet words of him, it was the first time someone had talked to her like that, and during a moment like this, it just made her shed more tears.

“Don’t cry.” He said caressing her cheek.

“I’m sorry.” Seohyun said between her cries with her head lowered once again.

“I told you to not worry; you don’t have to say sorry.” He comforted her once again, this time hugging her tight “Just forget about it. You’re with me now; you don’t have to worry about him.”

“How to not worry?” she sobbed lifting up her gaze “He is going kill me if he knows I’m with you…he’s going to kill my parents!” she cried once again. Her parents were the only thing she had, they were her everything, she hadn’t see them in years. Being the reason of your parents’ death, she won’t be able to live with that.

“Don’t worry, he won’t.” he tried to calm her down.

They stood still for a couple of seconds, just until Yonghwa tried to finish forming the puzzle inside his head.

He had thought so much back in Busan; and one of the things that he thought of, was that woman he saw outside the store, that familiar woman.

He wasn’t really smart, but Kyuhyun was a bastard, and even though he wanted Seohyun to be his, threatening her with bringing her to her parents just if she sleeps with him wasn’t something he could do.

It pretty much seemed like he was trying to lure Seohyun to leave the country with him so she won’t be able to see Yonghwa again.

Now, the woman, if he thought really deeply, that direction she had, was Seohyun’s house. She said she was looking for the daughter she hadn’t seen in years.

Everything fitted perfectly, Seohyun had said Kyuhyun send her parents away from her. It seemed like he didn’t send them to another country to have a better life, he had actually made them disappear from Korea by taking all they had, leaving them in the ruins. This woman that was separated from her daughter was now trying to reach her.

“Seohyun…” he finally spoke. Seohyun slowly lifted her gaze and looked at him “Are you sure your parents are in other country?”

Seohyun looked at him confused as they parted from the hug “Yes.” She said furrowing her browns as she thought. Kyuhyun had said so, when she stopped seeing them Kyuhyun had told her he send them ‘away’ “Kyuhyun said, he said they were in San Francisco.”

“Are you completely sure?” he asked once again.

“Why? Do you know something?”

Yonghwa took a deep breath before start talking once again “How does your mom looks like?”

“My mom?” she thought.

As Yonghwa waited for her response, someone knocked on the door, it was Jungshin.

“I’m sorry, I listened to everything.” He confessed with a innocent smile.

“Yah!” Yonghwa yelled.

“Hi, I’m Jungshin.” He greeted her, shaking her hand “You might not remember me, but that’s ok, I don’t remember you neither.” he said making Seohyun giggle.

“I do remember you tho. Hi.” She said.

“That’s so nice.” Jungshin said still shaking her hand.

Yonghwa cleared as to inform Jungshin to let go of her hand, but he didn’t get it and just kept shaking it as he stupidly smiled “You are so pretty, I don’t know why I don’t remember you?”

“Yah! Yah! Yah!” Yonghwa finally spoke up making him let go of Seohyun’s hand “You didn’t had a girlfriend?” he said jealous.

“I do. Sooyoungie~” he smiled.

“Then stop” he said as he threaten him with his fits.

“Ok, sorry.” He laughed “You guys must be hungry, I brought chicken; you don’t want to eat?”

Yonghwa and Seohyun looked at each other and nodded accepting the offer.

The three sat in the dining table and ate. They talked about high school years, as well as their lives right now.

As Yonghwa hadn’t seen Jungshin in a while as well, it was nice to sit down together and talk.

After they finished eating, they went to sit in the living room while Seohyun prepared tea.

“But, won’t her husband would be looking for her right now?” Jungshin asked.

Seohyun stopped a minute and thought “My cell phone.” She hurriedly placed the tray on the table and asked.

“Inside your purse, under the towels, at the bathroom.” Jungshin explained as he drank his tea pointing at the bathroom.

Seohyun quickly ran toward followed by Yonghwa.

“What’s wrong?” he asked while Seohyun looked desperately something inside her purse.

“The GPS. Kyuhyun will find me!” Seohyun said scared while she hold her newly found phone.

“It’s turned off. He won’t find you.” Yonghwa said trying to calm her down.

“But he is rich and powerful, isn’t it?” Jungshin said appearing from behind “Won’t he be able to track you even if its turned off?”

Seohyun looked at Yonghwa scared “He will.”

“It’s ok. He won’t.” Yonghwa held her arm and tried to calm her down once again.

Just then, a knock was hear at the front door.
