NARRATOR

Huang Zi Tao walked down the lobby of Incheon airport with his usual badass aura. He was wearing a black ripped cardigan, gray v-neck and his black faded army pants. Girls love how he looked so… challenging. But inside, he’s a true kid.

“Hyunggggg!” Tao ran half ran and lightly squealed, destroying his bad boy image. D.O’s eyes rounded as he saw him. Or let’s just say… his eyes are naturally round.

Chanyeol snickered playfully. “You kid.” He was about to tackle Tao, when he jerke away fast. “Right, Wushu.” He muttered.

Tao laughed and hugged his friends. “Long time no see. Bbuing bbuing~” D.O’s ‘naturally’ round eyes closed, his hand clamped over his eyes. “’Not that aegyo, Tao. Just… stop that.”

Chanyeol as if on cue looked away. “That won’t work on us. What do you want?”

The little kid heartily laughed. “I just missed my hyungs. Nothing’s wrong with that, right, Kyungsoo hyung?”

D.O turned away and ran to the car. “Kaja. I’m getting hungry.”

Chanyeol grunted as Tao pulled him to the car.

“What surprise, really?” You blinked, annoyed. Sehun giggled like a little child. “You’ll see.”

A small drop of sweat trickled down your face. “It’s so hot here. Can’t we go somewhere else? Like… the mall?” You whined. A small battery-operated fan appeared in front of your face. “Thanks.” You mumbled.

BAEKHYUN

Tao is coming today. Kris told us about Minhee’s close relationship to Tao, and so we decided to surprise her. She shouldn’t feel alone, after all.

It was planned to wait for Tao in the dorm, and go eat dinner together. The weather is unusually hot today, and the air-conditioning system in the living room is not enough. I uncomfortably shifted my sitting position, small beads of sweat trickling down my forehead. I looked at Minhee, and the same happened to her. Without hesitation, I stood up and pulled Minhee with me.

“Hyung, where are you taking her?” Sehun questioned. I rolled my eyes at him and walked away, assisting Minhee.

“Where are we going?” I could hear her say.

I opened the door to my room and le her in. “You can stay here. It’s hot.”

I turned the air-conditioner on and sat beside her. She smiled brightly. “You’re my savior. I was dying with the hotness.” She pointed at the thick comforter and made a face.

“I thought of that.” I smiled. Little beads of sweat trickled down her forehead. “Here.” I handed her my handkerchief. She looked at it, trying to figure out what to do with it.

I chuckled and dabbed the handkerchief on her forehead. “You’re sweating.”

Minhee blinked. “Right. Thanks.”

We stayed there on my room and waited. She was engrossed in surfing the internet and I just lay flat on my bed. I rolled on to my side and peeked on what she was doing. “What’s that?”

She quickly closed the laptop and smiled. “Nothing.”

I looked at her questioningly. “Nothing?” I echoed.

She used her aegyo on me. Damn. Those big twinkling eyes, those batting eyelashes. Must stay strong.

“It’s really nothing, Oppa.” She smiled.

“Uh.. really? I need to check. Come on. Give it to me.” I extended my hand, signaling her to give me the laptop.

She defensively hugged the laptop. “No.”

I smirked at that. “If you’re not hiding something, you won’t act like this.”

She stammered. “I…I’m not. Re..ally there’s…nothing here.”

I chuckled. “Lie.”

Suddenly, the door burst open. “Minhee! We have a surprise for you!” Chanyeol barged in the room with his big smile.

Wrong timing, Yeol.

Minhee’s ears perked up. “Hmmm? Weren’t you out buying groceries?”

Chanyeol coughed. “I was picking up someone.” He winked playfully.

“Mei Mei!” Tao barged in the room and tackled Minhee to the bed. She struggled, her hands still defensively holding the laptop.

“I can hold that for you.” I smiled, getting the laptop from her hands while Tao attacked her with his tight embrace. Her grip on it was firm, but I was able to get it. She sighed in defeat.

I stuck my tongue out, leaving her to Tao who was feasting on her. Weird children.

“I missed you, mei!” Tao grinned, letting go of Minhee.

Minhee smiled like a little child and clung on to Tao’s neck. “Ge! I missed my wushu panda!” She squealed.

They look really close. Again, weird children. I slowly walked outside the chaotic room, bringing Minhee’s laptop with me.

What could she be hiding?

I sat down the couch on the living room, alone. All the guys stayed on my room doing all sorts of talking and stuff.

The laptop beeped to life as I opened it to see what was previously opened. A light chuckle came out of my lips as I saw the site opened.

Minhee was shopping. Okay, in a more exaggerated way, maybe. She was online shopping bigtime and the total amount was something really big. This girl, really.

“You found out, huh?” She plopped beside me, sighing.

I poked her nose playfully. “You spoiled brat.”

She grunted and frowned, her brows knitted together. “I’m… not. Just love to shop.”

“But you have to control yourself, Hee. Look at the amount.” I pointed at the total, clucking my tongue.

“Well, I want everything.” She pouted.

“Remember what we talked about? Change?” She slightly nodded. 

"Okay, okay. Can you keep this... as our secret, Oppa? And hat night on the fence..."

A smile crept up my lips. "I will." She smiled widely, but I raised a finger. "If, you do your best to change."

She nodded glumly.

The guys came in one by one and of course, the scene became chaotic. Tao was talking non-stop about random things, and occasionally cries. Aigo, Tao the cry-baby.

“Lower your voices, kids.” A deep manly voice commanded, and we turned to see the owner of the familiar voice standing there on the door.
