NARRATOR

“Oh look! It’s you!” Baekhyun dragged you inside a shop, quickly grabbing a stuffed pig. Your brows furrowed. “This is me?” You looked at the toy with disgust.

He smirked and nodded. “Yep.”

Annoyed, you stomped out of the shop and crossed your arms. Baekhyun caught up and jumped in front of you.

“But it’s cute! And fluffly.” He retorted, pinching your cheek. You pouted and pried his hands off.

“I’m not a pig.” You started to walk away but he caught your wrist just in time.

“Well, can you be my piggy?” He chuckled, looking intently at your eyes. You looked away, your heart going crazy.

*What is he doing? He wants me to be… his? Gah, Minhee he's joking!* You bit your lip and looked down at your shoes. Baekhyun smiled and moved closer to you. He cupped your chin and tilted your head up to face him.

“Silence means yes.” He whispered.

You quickly jerked away and walked towards a food stall. To prevent the big silly smile to appear on your face, you bit your lower lip. Baekhyun laughed and followed you.

*My cute little pig.* He smiled at the thought.

Side by side, both of you walked along the streets of Dongdaemun. Baekhyun had a happy smile, as well as you. Uneasily, he glanced at you. Your eyes met for a second, and you looked away nervously. Baekhyun smiled warmly and slowly intertwined his fingers with yours. You stopped walking abruptly and looked at your hand. He sheepishly smiled.

“I…just don’t want to lose you.” He chuckled nervously. Color rushed to your cheeks in an instant.

“You won’t lose me here in Dongdaemun, Oppa.” You smiled back and continued walking, feeling the warmth of his hands.

He just giggled. “Hmm-hmm.”

*I wasn’t talking about Dongdaemun. I was talking about forever.* Baekhyun felt his heart race at his own thought.

While walking happily, enjoying each other’s touch, a girl purposely bumped on your shoulder, making you lose your balance.

Baekhyun quickly caught your waist in time and tightened it. He was hugging you tightly, and you stood there, dumbfounded. “O..Oppa.”

“Wrong move, Sekyung.” You could hear him hiss. You slowly your heel to look. Baekhyun remained one arm round your waist.

Sekyung was there, sending daggers at you. Her lip twitched with hatred as her eyes fell on Baekhyun’s arm on you.

“You .” Sekyung spat, about to move towards you. Before she could do any damage, Baekhyun stopped her by stepping in front of you.

“Hurt her, I won’t hesitate to hurt you.” He hissed through gritted teeth. His fists were clenched.

You walked towards him and held his hands, massaging it. You felt his tense body relax.

Sekyung was boiling with what she was seeing. “You—“ She screamed, but before she could finish, Baekhyun slipped his arm around your waist again. “Let’s go, babe.” He slurred and turned around, leaving a stunned Sekyung.

“Seriously, babe?” You scoffed. Baekhyun laughed but kept his secured grip on our waist.

“What? You want me to call you piggy?” He cooed. You pried his arm around you and scowled.

“I’m not a pig!” You retorted. He sensed your irritation and poked your nose playfully. “I was just messing around. And besides, being my pig doesn’t count as a pig.” He pointed out.

You laughed and looked at him pointedly. “That was weird. Being YOUR pig doesn’t count me as a pig? So you’re saying I’m not a pig? What was all that teasing for?” Your eyebrow was raised.

Baekhyun placed his hands on his pocket, walking aimlessly. “Nothing. Just wanted to call you mine.”

Fireworks. Right. Fireworks exploded in your mind, your heart. Everything was too much to take in. Baekhyun was making you feel something, and even if you try to push that feeling away, you can’t. Not because you just can’t, but because you like it.

Baekhyun was smiling victoriously. *I hope you accept me someday, babe.* He chuckled to himself, but inside he was hoping fervently.
