NARRATOR

The resort was half-filled with people. Apparently, Kai’s family owned it, explaining the special treatment ever since you arrived. Kris had his hand on the small of your back as you walked towards the lobby. The guys were following behind, with Kai in front, walking like a boss in his own territory.

 “Are we going to sleep here?” You looked up to Kris. He just nodded, his eyes looking straight ahead.

Chanyeol went to your side and slung his arm around you. Kris moved away immediately.

“Only girl.” Chanyeol cooed.

“Yea, yea. I’m with 8 bipolar boys.” You rolled your eyes, making Chanyeol giggle and pinch your cheeks.

“So should I take 3 rooms? Tao, Kris and Minhee can share, right?” Kai asked, leaning on the counter.

Sehun complained. “That’s no fun. Divided.” He pouted. Kai looked at him, thinking.

“Wait, I can get the biggest suite. It’s actually really big, and Minhee can have a closed room to herself. We guys can sleep anywhere on the suite.”

Everybody nodded in approval. You smiled at all of them. “Well, thanks.”

MINHEE

We arrived at the suite immediately. I, Chanyeol Oppa and Tao Ge first went to the refrigerator.

“Awwwe Yeah, baby!” Tao ge cheered as he saw the ref stocked. He grabbed a soda can and ran off to annoy Sehun.

Really, he never gets old. And he’s older than me, which makes it even weirder.

“Ya! Earth to Minhee!” Chanyeol Oppa waved his palm in front of my face. I looked at him and smiled; the big smile that exaggeratedly showed my teeth.

 His brow rose up. “What’s with the big smile, eh?”

I continued smiling like that. “This is the Chanyeol smile.” You stated. He chuckled and ruffled your hair.

“Wait I’m not done!” You pouted. “Okay, what else have you got?” He waited.

I smiled like that and opened my eyes wide. Chanyeol Oppa laughed at my face. “What’s…that?”

You patted his shoulder. “This, my friend, is the Chanyeol derp smile!”

Kai heard everything and entered the scene. “For the first time, Minhee, you got it right!” He laughed with me. Chanyeol  Oppa stood there on the side pouting. His deep voice alerted us.

“Did you teach that to her, Kai?” He asked, annoyed.

Kai Oppa and I were too preoccupied in laughing it was hard to speak. Kai Oppa just showed him his thumbs up. With that, Chanyeol Oppa chased him around the suite. I laughed there as I watched Kai Oppa running for his life, being chased by a giant derp.

NARRATOR

“What happened?” Baekhyun entered the kitchen, getting a bottle of water.

You suppressed your laughter in an attempt to totally stop it. “Kai Oppa taught me this.” You made the derp face.  He chuckled at what he saw. “Perhaps… That’s..”

“Yes, it’s Chanyeol Oppa.” You finished, making him laugh even more. Chanyeol entered the kitchen with Kai trailing behind like a puppy.

“I regret teaching you that.” Kai said with a melancholic face. You looked at Chanyeol in confusion. Baekhyun watched in pure amusement.

Chanyeol smiled in victory. “What did you do?” You nudged Chanyeol endlessly. He proudly huffed. “I threatened to stop giving him numbers.”

“Numbers, like for the sweepstakes?” You asked, confused. Baekhyun already understood and suppressed his laughter. He gave Kai a fake sympathetic look.

“Numbers of hot ladies! Now I’ll never get them!” Kai whined. You stifled a laugh.

“And where do you get those numbers Channie Oppa?” He smiled back at you. “We own a high-end spa. Customers register their cellphone numbers for promos and stuff.” You nodded, looking at Kai who was throwing a tantrum.

Kris entered, as usual, wearing his expressionless, smug face. He was already in board shorts and a white plain shirt.

“We’re heading out now. Get ready and follow us at the pool area.”

Suho, Sehun, D.O, and Tao were behind him, all set. You nodded eagerly and brought your clothes to the bath room.

A few minutes passed and you were still changing. Kai knocked on the door violently. “Seriously! I’m gonna leave you, slowpoke!” He whined.

You were still trying on different kinds of swimsuits. “I can go there all by myself, you know.” You replied, hearing nothing after.

*They must’ve gone already.* You thought.

You ended up wearing a white monokini and a pair of blue hot pants. Smiling, you looked at your reflection for the last time.

You tied your hair in a loose bun and went out of the room, all dressed for swimming. Expecting no one at the suite, you just made your way to the kitchen first.

“You’re done?” Baekhyun sat on the couch, reading a magazine. You turned to look at him.

“You waited?” He just nodded and looked at you. “Kris will kill us if we left you to walk alone, you know. But the others we’re so giddy to walk out.”

You drank water and pulled him out with you. “I’m done, let’s go!”

Both of you were walking on the lobby, talking about random things.

“Can we pass by there for a frappe?” You asked. He just nodded and trailed behind you. After ordering, you sipped on it like a little child.

Baekhyun mindlessly walked beside you when his sight landed on some guys ogling at you. Some were even taking pictures. One was about to approach you. He felt bothered.

“Honey~” Baekhyun smiled, his arm encircled around your waist, but he wasn’t really touching it. He just appeared to be touching it. You looked at him weirdly.

The man about to approach you backed off. He smiled in victory and placed his arm down.

“What was that for?” You asked, baffled.

He just shrugged. “erts ogling at you.”

You stopped walking and looked back at the guys. Some winked and some leered.

“Eww.” You ran off to Baekhyun and encircled your arms on his. He seems taken aback with your action.

You giggled and continued walking. “You’re right. They’re gross.” He just chuckled and walked with you side by side.

The others were already having the time of their life when both of you arrived. Kris eyed Baekhyun and you, specifically, your hands.

“They all left me. Good thing Baekhyun Oppa stayed.” You smiled as you sat beside your brother. Baekhyun slightly shrugged and proceeded to the pool with the others.

D.O whistled as Baekhyun arrived. Baekhyun shot him a look, but he just rolled his eyes.

“I saw that, man.” He chided. Baekhyun ignored him and dipped his foot on the pool. Tao silently walked behind him and pushed him to the pool. Laughter erupted.

“Huang Zi Tao! I’m gonna get you!” Baekhyun resurfaced and struggled to catch the ever so energetic Chinese maknae.

Sehun plopped beside you and Kris. “Sibling bonding, eh?” He smiled, tossing peanuts in his mouth.

Kris lightly chuckled as you tried to imitate Sehun. As if on cue, Sehun stopped what he was doing.

“Hyung, you’re laughing!” He clapped. Kris rolled his eyes and walked away.

You clucked your tongue. “My brother is the king of walk out.”

Sehun nodded eagerly. “You got it.”

Tao came running towards your direction with a wet Baekhyun chasing behind him. Your eyes darted at the expression on Baekhyun’s face. He was happy. Not the usual him, but he was a little too energetic and smiling, his eyes digging holes on Tao’s back.

“Mei!” Tao grabbed you hand and pulled you to run with him. Sehun joined in and ran with Baekhyun.

“Tao Ge, why am I running with you?!” You whined while running with Tao, his grip on your hand was tight.

“Just follow, ok? It’s fun when Baekhyun hyung gets annoyed.” He winked while running.

*Aish, Tao Ge.*

Both of you arrived at a grassy part of the resort where people laid down cloths and ate on their paper plates. Children played along the water sprinklers.

“Where do we do now?” You laid your hands on your hips and glared at Tao. Ha sheepishly smiled. “I guess we’re caught.”

“You really are!” Baekhyun ran, tackling Tao on the grass. Sehun did the same to you.

“Ah, Sehunnie get off me!” He laughed and tickled your side. Soon, the three of them joined Sehun.

“I swear I’m gonna pee right now! S..Stop!” You tried to struggle, but laughter filled your mouth, your weak spots, making you powerless.

Kris arrived wet. He was laughing at your state.

“Ge, help me!” You cried, tears of laughter streaming down your cheeks. Kris was about to pull the three guys away from you, when the others came in and tackled Kris to the ground.

“Let’s torture the siblings!” D.O pumped his fists in the air. Everybody laughed and started feasting on you and your brother. Kris, being the ice prince, couldn’t resist laughing with everybody else.

After hours of endless playing, the 9 of you lay flat on the grass, looking at the sun setting down.

“I wish this moment never ends.” You mumbled; a smile tugging on your lips. The other guys heard you and smiled as well.

“I wish Kris treats us ice cream.” Suho blurted out. Everybody had sly grins on their faces except for Kris.

“To the ice cream store!” Everybody ran off, with a chuckling Kris trailing behind.
