NARRATOR

The next morning, you happily skipped to the condo unit in Gangnam. Where else could you go? Being frequent there, you punched the right code and the door clicked open. Suho greeted you with a big smile on his face.

“Annyeong. Minhee!” He pulled you to a light embrace. You smiled back. “Annyeong, Oppa! Where are the others?”

He shrugged, his brows rising up. “You know them, doing their own things. I think D.O and Chanyeol bought groceries.” You nodded and walked to find the others.

“Sehunnie!” You called as you passed by the row of doors. A door behind you burst open; the bathroom. “Minhee~” Sehun beamed. He slung his arm around you comfortably, his still wet hair dripping on your shoulders.

“Ya, you’re wet.” You lightly shrugged his arm off. He just continued grinning.

“We should do something fun today!”

You your chin in pretend thinking. “Hmm. Let me see..”

Sehun wailed like a little child. “We should! Minhee I’m bored here!!” You laughed, looking at his stupid childish actions. Suddenly, the door to the bathroom opened again. You turned your head in confusion.

Baekhyun came out, in fresh new clothes and wet hair. He was mindlessly drying his hair with a white towel.

“Y..You.” You stammered. Baekhyun raised his brow in amusement. “What? It’s like you’ve seen a ghost.”

“You continued staring at him then at Sehun. Their faces changed when you pointed accusing fingers towards them. “You took a bath together?!”

Sehun looked at Baekhyun and innocently blinked. “What’s wrong?” Baekhyun shared with Sehun’s confusion.

Your brows were knitted together. “It’s… weird. And…”

“And?” Sehun urged.

“I don’t know. Not… used to it. I’m a girl.” You dismissively waved. Kai went to the scene, chuckling. “You’re a girl?” He scoffed. Sehun giggled.

You hit Kai playfully. “You bully. I’ll tell Kris Ge that you’re not treating me right.” You stuck your tongue out. “Oh yeah?” Kai teased. You eagerly nodded, your expression clearly annoyed.

You ended up walking leisurely on the streets of Gangnam, with Suho, Kai, Baekhyun and Sehun with you. Sehun held your hand and swung it back and forth while walking, a smile unusually pasted on his face. He usually refuse to show emotions in public places, but now.. he’s grinning. Suho smiled warmly at how you interacted with the others.

“Where to?” Kai walked ahead, his head turning in search for nice places.

Baekhyun lightly coughed. “I know a good café. Wanna go there?” Everyone nodded eagerly, even Baekhyun nodded at his own question.

*Funny Oppas.* You chuckled at their cuteness.

“So, you’re studying here in Seoul this opening?” Suho raised a spoon to his lips, looking intently at you. Sehun’s eyes sparkled at what he heard.

“You should! We’re going to be batch mates!” He tugged on your shirt endlessly. Kai rolled his eyes and Baekhyun slapped his hands on your shirt.

You lightly chuckled. “I guess so. I’m prohibited in China.” You snorted. Baekhyun lightly smiled at your childish attitudes. Kai, behind his frappe cup, had curious eyes over Baekhyun’s smile.

*He’s weird. Smiling like that.* Kai thought.

“We miss your brother.” Suho blurted out, mindlessly sipping his frappe.

Your eyes rounded in astonishment. “Someone misses him? Daebak.”

“Kris is a great friend, you know. And he’s your brother, you should know.” Suho flicked your forehead playfully. You winced in pain. “But he’s an ice prince. Always like this.” You put down your cup and copied Kris’ serious b.tch-I’m-fabulous expression. The guys cracked up upon seeing your face.

“You ARE Kris hyung! With the long hair though!” Sehun laughed, clutching his stomach. “Well..” You sheepishly scratched the back of your neck.

BAEKHYUN

We sat there in the café, chatting about life and getting to know Minhee more. She happily clapped her hands whenever she hears something funny, and snorts when she is reminded of something she dislikes. Her brows tend to knit together when she’s being teased. All these little things about her are so interesting. Kris… didn’t mention her to be so different. So… unique. I think all the guys think this way.

“They continued laughing while I nodded and smiled in everything. Sehun was in the middle of telling his story about some girl he met when Minhee lightly gasped.

“Oppa!” She smiled at the other direction. Sehun, who wasn’t looking, answered. “We’re the same age, but you can call me Oppa if~” Kai shut him up by smacking his head. Suho’s ears perked up.

“You’re here.” Her eyes glistened with joy. A man with blonde hair walked towards our direction, a little playful smirk on his face. “Cupcake.” He stopped mid-way and opened his arms.

My brows rose up in confusion.

Who is that guy? Why is he smirking? Wait- Minhee she’s—

“Ohh.” Kai cooed in amusement as Minhee half ran to the guy’s direction and tightly hugged him. The guy cheerfully enveloped her in his arms.

“Cupcake, I missed you.” He poked her nose playfully. Minhee cheekily smiled. “Me too.”

Suho’s eyebrows rose in astonishment. Sehun’s lips pressed into a thin line. “Who is… that?”

I lightly cleared my throat. “They seem… pretty close.” Kai slowly nodded as he stared at the two.

“Where have you been these days?!” the blondie ruffled her hair lightly. Minhee casually shrugged. “At a condo unit~”

Blondie’s eyes squinted. “Condo? Where? Are you with a man there??” He scolded.

She just eagerly nodded. “Yup… Correction.” She raised her index finger. “I’m with men there.”

“Mwo?! Men? How many? You spoiled kid.”

Minhee smiled playfully. “Six.”

“Ya! Do you want your brother to kill you, woman?!”

Minhee stuck her tongue out. “Actually, he entrusted me to those six guys.”

The blonde guy looked at Minhee with scrutinizing eyes. She just shrugged and pulled the guy towards our direction.

I sat comfortably on my chair. I can feel Sehun tense.

“Oppas, this is L.joe Oppa. My childhood friend.” Minhee happily introduced. Suho smiled back and held out his hand. The L.joe guy smiled back.

“I’m Suho. Nice to meet you.” L.joe nodded and looked at Kai eagerly. Kai coolly nodded.

“Kai.” He said monotonously, not even looking up from his frappe.

“I’m… Sehun. Minhee’s playmate.” L.joe raised a brow, confused.

Minhee giggled. “Yeah, he’s of my age. Err… playmate.” L.joe nodded, understanding minhee. They look really close. This guy seems to know her well.

“I’m Baekhyun, Minhee’s Oppa.” I smiled. The rest looked at me questioningly.

I innocently blinked back.

Did I say something wrong? Uhh. Wait… I replayed what I said  in my head. Uhmm

I’m Baekhyun, minhee’s Oppa.

Shoot. Oppa? Why did I have to say that?! Everybody looked at me expectantly.

“Uhh. Like the other guys, I’m her Oppa. We are all her Oppas.” I smiled nervously. Minhee smiled happily.

“Right. I’m very thankful to have them as my Oppas.” She turned to L.joe, looking at him with those big eyes.

L.joe smiled back and looked at each one of us. “I hope she doesn’t annoy you as much as she does to me.” He winked.

She playfully hit his arm.

“It’s fine. We actually love her personality.” I blurted out. Here goes my mouth doing the talking.

“That’s great.” L.joe smiled.

NARRATOR

L.joe walked back at his own table, a smile on his face.

*Good thing she gained new friends.* A smirk tugged on his lips as he thought of your childish attitude.

“Childhood friend, eh?” Sehun  started.

You nodded as he sliced her cake. “Uhuh. I used to love Korea so much, that I visited it always. He was my playmate.”

“Playmate?! I’m your playmate.” Sehun whined. The others chuckled. Kai silenced him by stuffing a muffin on Sehun’s mouth.

“He’s  a good guy, you know. Even if he’s snobby, snarky, bully, you name it. I never thought we’d get along.” You chuckled, childhood memories running through your mind.

“I can see that he cares for you, dongsaeng.” Suho smiled, ruffling your hair.

You smiled back and looked at all of them. “Yep.”

“We care for you too. After all, you’re our new dongsaeng.” Baekhyun’s eyes twinkled, intently looking at you. The others nodded and smiled warmly.

A part of your heart gave in. These guys care for you. Genuine care can be seen in their eyes, and you were thankful for that.

*Kris Ge, you were right. They’re great.* A small knowing smile tugged on your lips.
