BAEKHYUN

As I sat up from my bed, the pain in my head shot straight too. The room was melting in my vision, as I tried so hard to open my sore eyes.

“Ack.” I winced, feeling the muscles in my shoulders stretch in pain. My calves throbbed too. What happened anyway?

“Pabo.” I heard the door close, and a figure approached me, though it was a little blurry, I think it’s a girl.

“You should lie back down. I’ll leave this honey tea here.” She chimed. Minhee?

I rubbed my eyes and tried to get a better view. Minhee, it’s her.

All the emotional pain came rushing back to me at once. L.joe, her best friend turned boyfriend, how we spent our date, how I ignored her completely, how I tried my best to forget I have feelings for her, how I ended up in a bar.

“A bar?” I muttered, confused. The last thing I remember was having a fight with that stupid chaebol son in the bar. How did I get home then?

Closing my eyes for a brief moment, I tried to recall the events I think I missed. Did I drink too much? Thought whizzed on my mind. I don’t even get my own mind.

“In case you’re wondering, which is kinda obvious, we picked you up in a bar last night.” Minhee smiled, lightly tapping my shoulder. Her soft warm touch sent electricity down my spine.

I just looked at her blankly, still in the process of recalling.

“And you were pretty much wasted.” She added, letting out a small giggle. How cute.

Wait, wasted? I drank too much... well that explains the head ache.

Without anything to say, I just nodded.

She smiled brightly and pulled me into a tight embrace. My eyes widened in surprise, my heart beating fast.

She whispered gently to my ear. “Hopefully this helps you recall last night.”

The gray wall helped me think over things. Staring at it blankly, while the girl I love hugged me, it was pretty much helpful. I remember Suho. He fetched me last night…

Then DO, telling me to man up.

Luhan, tackling me to the cold marble floor.

My lip hurting with blood trailing down my neck and shirt.

I remember the little tears as I let out what I really feel to my friends.

Minhee, hugging me?

She… told me she loved me too. She did.

A small smile crept up my lips as the memories became clearer in my mind. Minhee didn’t let go, still securing me on her arms. Slowly, I s my hands on her waist and pulled her closer. I could hear her sweet laughter.

“Yay!” She hugged me tighter, giggling. I caressed her hair and whispered. “I was embarrassing, was I?”

She slowly pulled away and poked my cheek. “Don’t worry, I’m worst with the influence too.”

The thought of her intoxicated made me chuckle. But then a though hit me.

“L…L.joe?” I managed to spat out. Minhee just chuckled. “You just misunderstood, Oppa. He was just practicing his confession for another girl.”

Blood rushed to my face. Well, hello Byun Baekhyun and your stupid assumptions.

I flinched, inwardly torturing myself.

“Sorry, for yesterday. I wasn’t in my own mind.” I looked at her eyes, happy and blooming.

She nodded and smiled. “It’s okay You just owe me another date.” She winked.

That’s what I like about her. She looks at things positively, and what’s great, I get to call her mine from now one. Right? Hopefully.

“So… you’re officially my piggy?” I tried to figure out what she was thinking by looking at her expression change. She looked down and bit her lip. Moments passed she didn’t look up. I took the urge and cupped her chin, tilting her head up.

The electricity inside me ran and ran up and down my spine.

Maybe it’s still too much for her. “It’s okay, I’m not—“

“Yes, I’m yours.” She breathed out, letting out a cute shy smile. I grinned and pinched her cheeks.

“You’re… mine?” My heart raced again.

She was flustered. “I mean, I’m you..your… pi—“

Before she could even finish, I did the talking. “You’re mine, that’s final.” I let out a chuckle, she smiled sheepishly. “I’m lucky. Thanks, Hee. I promise to take care of you.”

Pulling her into my arms again, it was like a fairy tale. I don’t really believe in such, but now, I do. With this beautiful loving girl, I will believe.

NARRATOR

The new couple exited the room happily. Baekhyun still had his disheveled hair, his lopsided grin,and his crumpled clothes. Minhee was skipping beside him, wearing a rather cheerful expression. The guys looked up as they saw the two.

“Well I think it’s official.” Suho chimed. D.O entered the living room, tray of toast I hand. “This is going to get boring fom now on No more suspense.” He sighed. You looked at him pointedly, but he just shrugged.

Luhan danced to your side and ruffled your hair. “I guess our meimei is growing up?” You giggled and lightly hit his shoulder.

Xiumin took D.O’s toast and ran behind you. “Mei, congrats. Tell me if Baekhyun hurts you, I’m going to grill him alive.” He winked an ran off, an angry D.O chasing him.

Baekhyun’s eyes twitched with what he heard. “Gee, Xiumin. Grill?”

Chanyeol chuckled. “Even his verbs are food-connected.”

Kai came out of his room, yawning. “Good morning, lovebirds!” He chimed, passing by Baekhyun’s side and tapping his back. Your cheeks flushed red with what he said. Baekhyun noticed your discomfort and faced kai.

“Good morning, playboy.” He winked.

Kai rolled his eyes. “Drunkard.”

Baekhyun’s ears turned red. “Mwo?! Ya, I’m your hyung!” He ran down the hall of rooms, chasing Kai.

You shook your head and plopped besie Chen. He gladly made you lean on him. “Slept well, mei?”

dYou smile and nodded in his arms. “Hmm. I’m happy.”

He chuckled. “That’s obvious.”

“It’s perfect already, Gege.” You stated, looking blankly at the television screen. Chen was about to respond whan Sehun jumped in front of you. “Na-ah. You still have one problem.” He smirked.

The guys tilted their heads at Sehun’s direction. Baekhyun came back in with Kai trailing behind him.

You raised your eyebrows at the maknae. His smirk just got more irritating.

“Kris Hyung.” He slurred.
