NARRATOR

Baekhyun didn’t let go of your hand until you both reached the bus stop. He smiled at your direction, and you just gave him a little nod.

*His hand… uhhhh.* You bit your lip in embarrassment.

“Where are you supposed to go anyway?” He asked, the warm smile still pasted on his face. You nervously chuckled, looking at his hand on yours. He noticed your discomfort and quickly pulled away.

“Mian. I… I didn’t mean to..” He hung his head low, blood rushing to his cheeks.

*Aish, pabo. Baekhyun you are a pabooo.* He mentally cursed.

You smiled at how he reacted. “It’s okay, Oppa.”

You chose the seat on the window and Baekhyun sat beside you. He was trying to start topics, and you eagerly replied at everything he said. Both of you were too preoccupied in chatting.

“You know Kris ge will kill me if he knows I’m out tonight.” You snorted. He lightly chuckled and patted your head. “Don’t worry, you’re with me.”

BAEKHYUN’S POV

Minhee smiled warmly and poked my cheek. “Gomawo.” She chimed. I coughed purposely to hide my embarrassment. “Ah, S..sure.”

I planned on taking her to Han River, where she could appreciate calm instead of wild. Lately I have been weird. When they told me Kris’ sister would be coming, I felt somehow… excited. I’ve heard of her, about her habits and stuff, and I actually thought she would be the typical mean girl type. I mean, if she would ne the mean type, totally, I would dislike her. I don’t like those types. But she’s different. I find her interesting.

“Oppa, why were you at outside our house, anyway?” She looked at me with curious eyes. I snapped out of my daze and mentally panicked.

“Ah, to… visit you.” I sheepishly smiled. “You got home early, and… Sehun was bored at home… and maybe I can fetch you back?” I chuckled nervously. Lame excuse. What is wrong with me?!

I expected her to question me, but she just nodded happily. “Ah… Sehunnie.”

“Sehunnie?” I echoed. She has pet names for the Sehun?

She laughed. “I kinda got used to it.”

NARRATOR

“You know what, Sehun doesn’t really get close to people he just met. But you, he just… clicked.” Baekhyun his chin, looking at you with his brows knitted together.

Your pitch raised in amusement. “Jinja? That’s… great. I guess.”

Baekhyun ruffled your hair, grinning. “Aigo, you’re clueless. All of us like you, from the moment we met you. You’re… interesting.” He chimed. You softened and smiled. “Kris Ge is lucky to have you guys as his friends. And me too, I have six new Oppas! Thanks.” Your giggled like a child.

As soon as the bus halted to a stop, Baekhyun assisted you as you came down. You rubbed your hands together and beamed. “So, where to?”

He was happy you felt excited. “Han River.”

Your brow twitched. “Han River?”

He poked your nose and smiled knowingly. “Yep. One of the peaceful places here.”

He expected you to whine or complain, but instead you nodded eagerly. “Kaja! It’s going to be my first time there!” Unconsciously, you slid your hands on his and hopped excitedly like a little kid. He laughed nervously. “Ne… Kaja.” A smile formed on his lips.

The wind pleasantly touched your skin. Beside you, Baekhyun was also mesmerized with the nice lights and misty wind.

“I’ve never been here. When I visit Korea, I end up in malls or other places.” You mumbled, eyes closed. A smile tugged on your lips. He stared at your comfortable expression, amused.

“Really? Where do you usually go? Clubs?” He teased, lightly nudging your shoulder. You opened your eyes and shot him an annoyed stare.“Ya!”

He laughed, clutching his tummy. “What? You’re not going to admit it?”

You bit your lips and pressed it into a thin line. “Okay, I admit it. I go to clubs, often.”

He patted your back and smiled warmly. His eyes twinkled in the faint moonlight.

“You can change. If you’re willing to. I can help you.”

Baekhyun notice you flinch and make a face as he said that. He quickly retorted. “I mean, you can lessen your time in clubs and shopping. Don’t make it your obsession.” He smiled warmly.

You just stared at how his smile looks so comforting. Thoughts buzzed on your mind, together with little realizations.

“Uhm, I think you’re right. But it’s not that easy..” You mumbled. He nodded in approval.

“If you have the will, it would be chicken for you.” He pumped his fists in the air. “Go, Minhee!”

A smiled tugged on your lips. “Thanks, Oppa. I’ll… try. For my brother and parents.”

He grinned widely, his eyes glistening. “I’ll help you.”
