NARRATOR

Xiumin, Sehun, Luhan and you ran off to the nearest ride available. The others followed behind, either talking or laughing. Baekhyun walked beside Kris, hands in pockets.

“Ya, Wu Fan.” He called.

“Hmm?”

“I met with Uncle Wu. He told me something.” Baekhyun said in a sing-song voice as he skipped happily. Kris threw him a look. “Aren’t you gonna tell me?”

“Ask your father yourself.” He stuck his tongue out, running after you.

Kris sighed. “Children.” He muttered under his breath. Suho came by his side. “I know, they’re hard to manage.” He dramatically exhaled. Kris nodded at his friend.

“Joonmyun-ah!!! They sell cotton candy here!” Baekhyun called out from a distance. Suho’s eyes sparkled as he gave Kris a tap on the shoulder. “I just love cotton candies.” He exclaimed, running towards the stall.

Again, Kris sighed. “Children.” He muttered again, rolling his eyes at the guys.

“Let’s ride the bump cars.” You cheered, tugging on Xiumin’s shirt. He was munching on a waffle stick. “Shooor.” He replied, mouth full. 

All of you skipped towards the line. As your turns came, you looked for Baekhyun. The seats were for two, and you wanted to sit with him. He hopefully smiled at the back, moving his head to the sides.

But he hurriedly looked away when Kris looked by his direction.

“I’ll ride with…” You started, but Chanyeol interrupted you.

“Ya, Bacon! Ride with Minhee!”He hollered. A smile crept up on both of your faces. Kris pressed his lips into a thin line, trying to hide his smirk. Suho ate happily on the corner, the cotton candy slowly diminishing on his hands. "Yeah, Baekhyun ride with Hee."

Baekhyun walked towards you and smiled. First, he helped you sit and then he got in. But before he could actually sit, Kris held placed a firm hand on his shoulder. “I’ll ride with my sister.” He said nonchalantly.

 You slumped on your seat while Baekhyun weakly nodded. “O..Okay.”

Kai laughed from behind. “Don’t wanna be, all by myse—“ He started singing, but Baekhyun cut him off by taking the seat beside him. “Stop it, Jong in.” He hissed. Luhan and Sehun were laughing behind him, teasing him too.

“Last time I checked, you hate riding this thing with me.” You rolled your eyes at your brother. He smiled. “It’s different this time.”

You snorted and looked away. Kris chuckled and smiled slyly. “You’re just disappointed.” He muttered.

During the ride, Baekhyun and Kai’s car neared yours. He extended his hand for a hi-five. Before you could hit him happily, Kris smirked and drove away, leaving Baekhyun’s hands in mid-air. Chen saw everything and rolled his eyes at the chidishness.

“All by myself~” Kai whispered, enjoying Baekhyun’s expression change. He exhaled and drove towards your car once again. Kai was laughing beside him, letting him do all the driving.

But every time he would near your car, Kris was too smart to drive further away.

After the life-threatening bumping, all of you still had dumbfounded faces on. The ride was too much to take in, because of the competition. D.O and Chanyeol’s car endlessly bumped on yours during the ride, making your knees wobble with the impact. The endless impacts.

Your throat hurt with the screaming, and even your ice prince brother managed to let out a deep growl during the ride. Kai and Baekhyun were screaming curse words to each other.

Chanyeol broke the silence by breathing heavily. He smiled at his friends’ direction, amused with the reactions.

“Looks like we all need something to boost us.” He commented, chuckling.

Xiumin’s eyes widened. “Food!” Chen smacked his head.

Sehun shook his head. “Food can wait. How about… the Ferris wheel?!”

At that moment, Luhan and Chanyeol's eyes sparkled with interest.

Xiumin rolled his eyes at the maknae. The guys nodded one by one at what Sehun said. “That’s great. Something relaxing.”

However you tensed. Baekhyun noticed your discomfort and placed a comforting hand on your shoulder. “I can stay with Minhee.”

“Oh right, heights.” Sehun muttered, apologetic. You grinned and lightly cheered for them. “It’s fine, go on Oppas! I’ll wait here.”

“I can stay with you.” Kris offered. Baekhyun hid his disappointed pout. D.O, who sensed his friend’s disappointment, dragged Kris towards the Ferris wheel.

“No, Krisus. Baekhyun can do that for you!!” He chimed, pulling the giant. He looked at the two of you and winked.

At the ride, Kris was left with D.O in small balloon. DO chuckled and started babbling. “You’re ing them, duizhang. What the lumps? You shouldn’t do that.. But I admit it’s fun to watch.”

Kris rolled his eyes at him. “Ha-ha, D.O, Ha-ha.” His voice was oozing with sarcasm.

D.O scrunched his nose. “Ya, I worked my off to get them together!” He retorted.

The giant slightly smirked. “What? You want me to congratulate you?”

“You’re so cold, and mean.” He snickered, looking at the view. Kris chuckled. “Not really.”

“I’m glad I stopped your ing again, meanie.” He stuck his tongue out at Kris.

They were silent for a few seconds.

“I’ll kill you later.” Kris whispered, smirking. He loved playing with his friends’ reactions.

D.O looked at him innocently.

“Just like Minhee, you’re weird.” D.O muttered under his breath.

Baekhyun held your hand as both of you skipped towards the gift shop. He tried on different shades while you tried on different  headbands. Just when you were about to wear rabbit ears, Baekhyun poked your cheek.

“I found something~” He chirped. You tilted your head, waiting for him to tell you what it was. He grinned and handed you pig ears. “Just perfect for my piggy!”

 He pinched your cheeks and carefully placed the head band on your head. He checked your face and moved your bangs away from your eyes.

“There~” He laughed, satisfied. You pouted and looked at the mirror.

“If I’m to comment, it really fits her.” A voice chuckled. You your heels to see Byunghyun on the entrance of the gift shop, smiling. Baekhyun lightly smiled at him too.

“Annyeong, L.oe-sshi.” He greeted. L.joe smiled back. “Annyeong, Baekhyun-sshi.”

“Oppa, you’re here!” You skipped beside him and punched his shoulder. He winced in pain and glared at you. “I hate you.” He snickered.

Baekhyun chuckled at what he saw. You smiled as Baekhyun encircle his hand on your waist.

L.joe grinned. “So… you two?”

You sheepishly looked at your feet. Baekhyun proudly nodded. “Yeah.”

L.joe shook Baekhyun’s hand. “I’m glad for you guys.”

You grinned back, then a thought hit you. “You? You confessed already?”

L.joe bit his lip as color rushed to his cheeks. “Well, yeah. She accepted me, cupcake.”

You jumped up and down and hugged your best friend, but immediately skipped back to Baekhyun’s side. “So, where is she?”

You looked around the store, every girl’s face didn’t pass by what you assumed to be L.joe’s standards. L,joe clcked his tongue at you. “She’s at the bathroom. I'll introduce her to you someday.

You nodded in understanding. Baekhyun smiled too. 

L.joe looked outside for a moment and turned to you.

"I guess someone's after you." He winked and stalked off. Your brows furrowed at what he said. 

"Someone? “Who—“ Yo stopped short when Kris bolted in, smiling. Baekhyun smiled at his friend.

Kris raised a brow at you two as he looked at Baekhyun's arm.

"Hands. Off." He smiled before dragging you out the shop. Baekhyun pouted and trailed behind. The others couldn't help but laugh at Baekhyun's reation. Kris smiled evilly.
