“Jiejie hen piaoliang!(Noona you’re so pretty!)” A little child tugged on you skirt and gave you his toothless smile. You grinned back and pinched his cheek. “Xie xie!”

With that he giggled and ran back to his friends.

The ice cream vendor chimed. “Zai zhe li!(here it is!)” He handed you two cones of feet-long sundaes. You thanked him and skipped out of the shop, trying to locate Chunji.

Back in Korea, L.joe bitterly smiled as Yura called his name.

“Oppa!” She beamed, relief evident on her face. L.joe nodded at the guard to open the gates. Yura immediately rushed in and clung to L.joe’s neck.

Snickering, he rolled his eyes and pulled her away from him. “What do you want?” He raised a b row, his tone monotonous.

Yura innocently blinked. “… Oppa?”

“I know everything, Yura. Your schemes… Baekhyun… everything.” L.joe chuckled, his eyes hard as stone.

On the back of her mind, Yura was cursing. *That !*

Being the good actress she is, she remained composed. “I… I don’t know what you’re talking about, Oppa.” She stuttered, her eyes getting watery on purpose.

L.joe eyed her mockingly. “I have no time for lies.” He seethed, his jaw clenched.

“Can you listen to me? Jebal.” She cried, tears now streaming down her cheeks as her hands trembled. L.joe, still having a part of him he shouldn’t be exposing, looked away. He bit his lip as he sighed.

“Follow me inside.” He muttered, trudging towards the mansion. Yura followed behind, secretly smirking. They ascended the stairs and ended up on the second floor living room.

“Baekhyun… he also told Minhee that I stalked him. That I was obsessed with him! But he’s lying. He turned tables. He was the one obsessed with me.” Yura explained, while L.joe leaned on the wall, scoffing.

“That’s not what I know.” He replied, his voice heavy with anger.

Yura sobbed more. “Believe me, Oppa!”

“I… I can’t.” L.joe looked away, unable to look at Yura breaking down in front of him.

Yura exaggerated more, biting her lips. She clenched her fists, as if deeply hurt. “I can’t believe this… They’re ruining our relationship.”

“You didn’t tell me about your past.” L.joe interrupted, pinching the bridge of his nose. Yura flinched. “I was afraid you would leave me. Yes, I had a sickness, but I’m fully recovered now!”

L.joe clucked his tongue. He Sighed, disappointed. “You could’ve trusted me..”

For Yura, time was important. She was getting impatient with L.joe. All she wanted was him to be head over heels to her again. And she wanted it as soon as possible. With that mindset, she exploded.

“Whatever that Kris told you were lies!” She screamed.

L.joe’s head snapped back to Yura’s direction. “How did you know Kris Hyung told me?”

Silence overpowered. At once, Yura knew she was caught.

L.joe laughed bitterly. “Just when I was actually praising your acting, it goes down the drain in an instant.”

Yura stood up and wiped whatever expression she was pretending to wear. She pursed her lips and her eyes were like flames.

“You’re all the same.” She hissed, pointing her index finger at L.joe. “All stupid ignorant people. You keep on rejecting me, you choose to side with that , Minhee.”

With that word, L.joe’s eyes hardened as he glared back at the lunatic in front of him. “You’re the , Yura. Lies? You think that would do any good?”

Yura laughed boisterously. “Nothing can stop me. I already ruined everything, Oppa. Don’t you know? Minhee’s back in China. She went home for good. She hates Baekhyun more than ever. I bet she’s sulking there all alone. Serves her right.” She giggled, rolling her eyes. L.joe’s fists curled with what he heard. He only knew Yura hurt him, not you too. He was fuming and his blood was boiling. He was on the verge of losing his control.

The more L.joe looked angry, the more Yura enjoyed herself. “You know what, Oppa? I just used you. To get back to Baekhyun Oppa. But he rejected me. He chose that .” She snickered. “And now, I’m left with one choice, and that’s you.”

“What am I, a toy?” L.joe hissed.

Yura smiled. “You can consider that.” She laughed. L.joe kicked the vase in front of him. Shards of glass shattered everywhere.

“You’re mine.” She approached L.joe and pushed him to the wall. L.joe looked baffled as his back hit the wall hard.

“What the hell?!” He complained.

Yura shrugged nonchalantly and quickly s her arms around his neck, crashing her lips hard on his.

Baekhyun squinted his eyes to get a better view. Somehow, the girl outside the ice cream parlour resembled you. As you pouted and turned around, he confirmed it. *It’s you!* He gasped.

His heart jumped with happiness. Immediately his legs ran to your direction.

Just as he can reach you, Chunji arrived and placed his arm around your waist and pulled you closer. You shrieked, surprised.

Baekhyun stopped abruptly on his tracks.

He was expecting you to throw a fit at the man who was apparently Chunji, but instead your response made his heart sank. You grinned, handing Chunji the cone. Together both of you walked away, Chunji’s arm slung around your shoulder.

Then, his conversation with Luhan at the phone replayed on his mind.

“Aside from clubs and malls... she frequents parks too, with her best friend.”

*Bestfriend…?* He thought, his legs slowly walking towards the direction you headed to.
