Chapter 4

“Kids? We didn’t plan to have any kids for the time being, right baby?” Jaejoong smiled at me with his hands sneaked around my waist. Others may thought it was lovely but it was painful as I could feel his tight grip. His parents were visiting us that day so we had to pretend like usual. “Y… yes.” I stutter then smiled weakly.

“Why? You two are already married. Did Jaejoong say he didn’t want kids, honey? I’ll teach him later,” My mother in law glared at Jaejoong. “No, he isn’t. We make this decision together, mother.” I replied.

My mother in law was so kind and warm-hearted, unlike my own mother. How I wish I was born as their daughter. In that way, I could feel how it was to be loved by my parents and I didn’t have to earn Jaejoong’s hatred too.

“Really?” My mother in law looked a bit disappointed. “Why are you being busybody? Let them make their own decision.” Jaejoong’s father said and ate the apple that I just peeled.

“Aish, you won’t understand this old woman’s feeling.” She said. “Are you trying to say you’re old now? Wow, it’s unbelievable.” My father in law joking. I smiled looking at them. They always argued like that but I knew they loved each other so much.

“We better go to the airport now, granny. My flight will be in two hours more.” Jaejoong’s father stood up. “Alright, old man.” My mother in law mocked him.
