Sehun POV

I had just put down my phone when I heard someone calling my name.

“Sehun…Ya! Oh..Sehun…”

The voice was slurred and the person was trying to hold down their hiccuping. Just as I was about to walk to my door, it flew open and a very drunk Kai greeted me.

His eyes were red-rimmed as if he had been crying for quite a while, but his face showed no hint of sadness right now. His lips were curled up in a twisted smirk and I backed up to my bed, I did not want to be in his vicinity right now. I had only seen Kai drink this much once, and it was a scary sight. He became more aggressive, more violent and very vocal about everything. The last time he had drunk this much was to drown his thoughts of failing a dance task which I had come first in. He had cornered me and pushed me to the wall multiple times but luckily I was able to escape quickly before he had thrown any punches. It seemed to be a tradition that everytime Kai got drunk he would come to me… An awful tradition.

“Yah! Oh Sehun, come here right now, I got something I wanna talk to you about…” Kai staggered into my room and held his balance by leaning on my bookshelf. I crawled into the corner of my bed and prayed someone, anyone would come in right now; but everyone was probably still at dinner and Chanyeol was probably on the phone to Kris…

Kai walked a few more steps before tripping on a book and fell to the ground.

“Owwww! Look what you did to me Sehun! You hurt me, now I must hurt you!” Kai snarled and threw his soju bottle towards me.

Luckily it missed and hit the wall instead, instantly making Kai frown.

Suddenly Kai’s frown disappeared and his demeanor changed to one of sadness.

“Why did you do this Sehun? All I wanted was to be happy, didn’t you want your hyung to be happy?”

I kept my mouth shut, afraid to upset Kai any further.

“I said, DIDN’T YOU WANT YOUR HYUNG TO BE HAPPY??” He shouted suddenly.

“Mianhae hyung.” I whispered.

He sighed in disappointment, “Haven’t I always been a good hyung to you? I never ask for anything from you, and just this once, all I wanted was him. But no, you had to take him too. “

I gritted my teeth at the lies coming out of his mouth, he had never been a good hyung to me, he had always treated me like dirt from day one, expecting me to wait on him all day long. But alas, I could never say this because he had more power than me, both physically and with his words. SM would always take the words of Dancing-machine-Kai-who-appeared-in-20-teasers over little old Sehun.

Suddenly, Kai lifted himself off the ground and started making his way towards me with his steely gaze fixed on me. My breath hitched as he raised his arm up ready to hit me once again…
