[Heechul's Pov] 

“What do you want to watch?” Jungsoo whispered. I stared at him and I immediately looked away from him.

Nini had been holding my hand and Jungsoo was standing next to me. We were checking out the available movies and waiting for me to choose.

“What movie would you like to watch?” I asked Nini and she shook her head, meaning to say, she simply doesn't want the available movies.

“Let's skip this one and just roam around.” I suggested and smiled a bit.

“Are you sure?” He asked me and frowned.

“Yup. Let's go!” I replied and walked first. He followed us behind and Nini's face lit up. I guess we weren't in a mood to watch any movies.

We roamed around, bought many things for Nini and me, we even played and did everything we could do. At last, after our long hours of roaming around, we decided to eat.

“You should try this.” Nini said as she started to feed me. I opened my mouth and ate the food. When my gaze landed on Jungsoo, I saw him smiling.

“Uhh..” I awkwardly said and avoided his eyes.

“Why do you keep staring at him?” Nini asked and caught our attention. I looked at him and Jungsoo too. Nini's eyes were on Jungsoo.

“Huh?” He asked and bit surprised.

“You've been staring at him earlier and until now. Your secret glance, smile and a bit reddish cheek. What's that all about? Do you like him?” She straightforwardly said and leaned her back; had her arms crossed.

“That's ridiculous. Stop talking nonsense.” He replied and rolled his eyes.

Oh? So, liking me sounds ridiculous?! That hurts! I mean he should've just said 'no' in a polite way but tsk! what do I expect to hear from him? LOL.

“How's that ridiculous and nonsense? He's beautiful and handsome. He's a gentle person, nice and a lovely too. You already hit a jackpot if you want to date him.” She said and smirked.

“Let's just eat and after this, we will go home.” He said, trying to change the topic and breaking the awkwardness in our table.

“How about you? Uncle Heechul, do you like him?” She turned to me and threw that question.

“...” I was a bit flustered and didn't know what to say.

I mean... Oh no! I shouldn't.

“Of course not. I mean your uncle looks fine but he's not my type.” I said and she laughed.

I secretly glance at him and he's eating while nodding his head. I sighed and felt relaxed when Nini didn't ask me anymore.

Actually, he's been so good to me so It wouldn't be hard to fall in love with him or admire him but of course, rules are rules and I'm not going to break it off.

Once we were done, we decided to go home. When we already settled Nini in the backseat, he went to the driver's seat and I also went inside.

“Can I take a nap?” Nini yawned while rubbing her eyes.

“Sure.” We both answered. Shs just smiled and settled herself in a comfortable position.

While Nini's taking a nap, Jungsoo started to drive and me? I was only staring outside the car. I feel like my energy drained me so much and feel so restless.

“Did you enjoy everything?” He asked, I quickly glanced at him and nodded.

“Yup. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for bringing me here.” I said as I turned back my attention outside.

I noticed the change of his treatment towards me. He's been taking care of me a lot and sooo attentive. I don't know if it's just me but I noticed how he was trying hard to make me feel so happy and yup, fulfilling the words he says last night—he's giving me a reason to fight.

“We should do this often. Nini looks so happy and you too.” He smiled.

“That sounds amazing...” I agreed.

The whole ride is quite but really comfortable. We talked something else and shared laughter with each other. The whole ride was so amazing.

“I'm leaving.” Jungsoo said as he placed a kiss on Nini's forehead.

Weeks already have passed and everything is really going well for the three of us. It feels like we really become a family.

I found a new family; my safe place and escape from everything.

“Take care!” We both said and waved our hands while watching him go.

As he drove away, me and Nini went back inside the house. I couldn't stop smiling and maybe—

“Phone's ringing!!!” Nini yelled and pointed her hand into it. I immediately answered the call and the other line took a bit so long to talk.

“Hello?”

“Jungsoo?” Nini is already in the living room and watching cartoons.

“Glad you were the one who picked it up.”

“You just left a while ago tho. What's the matter?”

“I forgot to say that thanks for my the lunch you prepared. I appreciate it a lot.”
