Days passed and Amber was already doing good and healing. Jackie was always giving us the teasing look whenever she will accompany me to care after Amber.

Papa Liu and Mama Liu was beyond happy when we announced the good news to them. Putting pressure to Jackie because her little sister surpassed her in that category. She said she's still happy with traveling so nah... our Little One is enough.

Luna and Key visits Amber from time to time to check on her and also keep me company. Dad and Mom are busy with the near end of Dad's term in just a week. Mom took the liberty of arranging our very limited personal things that Amber and I brought when we moved temporarily at Cheong Wa Dae. I asked Byul to pack up for us and she happily obliged.

When Mama Liu and Papa Liu came with Jackie, we asked them to stay at our unit. They helped me with taking care of Amber in the hospital and they also took care of me. Jackie teased us one morning when she found something in our bathroom when she was looking for the hair dryer.

Let's just say that I'm thankful it was Jackie who saw 'IT' and not my in-laws because definitely, I won't have the guts to look in their eyes if that happens. She told me she placed the 'thing' on the top shelve in our bathroom and locked it securely.

"Guys, you know there is something called lock and key drawer?" She told us that morning. Amber threw an orange peel at her sister making me laugh and blush.

"Why the hell were you rummaging in our bathroom?! There's a hairdryer in the common bathroom! It's installed on the wall! Aissshhh!!" Amber was really frustrated and embarassed.

Who wouldn't be embarassed? It's your own sister who saw your *cough* toy *ehem*.

"Don't worry little sister, your secret is safe with me. Right Soojung?" She winked at me making me shake my head and cover my face in embarrassment.

"JACKIE!!!! Don't .... Arrrghhhhhhh!" I smacked Amber's head with the spoon I'm using to feed her.

 
"Yah! Don't yell at Jackie! It's your fault too idiot! What the hell is that thing doing in that drawer together with the hairdryer?! What I remember clearly, it should be at the bedside drawer!" I hissed at her lowering my voice in Korean so Jackie won't understand.

"I... I... Cleaned it after we used it before. Then you called me that's why I placed it in some random drawer. Then completely forgot about it when we moved to Cheong Wa Dae suddenly." Amber answered me too a low voice almost whispering in Korean looking like a poor puppy.

But I'm an idiot myself, I admit. How can I forget my sister in-law lived and studied here too.

Damn...I wish I said it in French. Or Japanese.

Little One don't be an idiot like your parents.

"Yes Amber, it should be in the bedside drawer!" .

They flew home a week after and Jackie stayed for another week to help me with her sister. She's also excited about our Little One and Amber declared that the baby will be named Juno.

She has always loved that name, Amber said it's based on the movie she watched before Jenny, Juno. I've watched it too when I was still young and it's a good story about young love and unexpected pregnancy. She said she wants our son to be good looking like Juno. But if the baby is gonna be a girl, it's still Juno. I told her I'll think about it haha!

Sulli and Vic also came with Luna again and spent time with us checking on Amber and my surprise pregnancy. They already called dibs as Godmothers and they are already talking on what present to give when the baby comes out. I told Vic I want a college scholarship for the baby, she said I'm so provident and frugal hahaha!

Well Sulli said she's gonna give me a bank book, I don't know if she's saying the truth or just joking at me. Luna on the other hand offered the services of his brother who is a pediatrician, she said all consultations free... That is, if her brother agrees haha.

The 'Itaewon Attack', as what the news has dubbed it, was picked up by the foreign media too. They praised Amber for being brave to face the attacker, and they were even surprised when they found out who she is. A group of foreign media wanted to interview us but we kindly declined saying that the President's Communication team will issue a statement about it.

They did issued a statement saying that Dr. Amber Liu is still recuperating and will be out of the hospital in a few days. That I am also fine plus saying too that the President will have a press conference on his last day of office.

It was Dad's last day in office when Amber was discharged from the hospital and was advised by Yuri unnie to stay at home first until she's fully healed. Both of us were in medical leave and finally went home to our unit after months of living inside Cheong Wa Dae. Byul was there in the unit with Seulgi and Somi who helped her clean the house.

Surprisingly, Fluffy Vader is friends with Seulgi and Somi. Byul can't believe it too, well Amber and I too. We know Fluffy just warmed up with P1 but he's still not that favorable of Byul. But with the two girls, wow... It was instant. It was like Love at First sight said Byul.

Fluffy became a cute puppy when they fetch him at Cheong Wa Dae. No roaring or showing of teeth when he saw the two girls like he always do with Byul. Byul said Fluffy was cooing and wiggling his tail at the two who also fell inlove with him much to Byul's annoyance.

The Kang Pharmaceuticals met another set back because the prosecutors found probable cause to jail Chairman Kang for his wrongdoings regarding the secret vault that was revealed. Their stocks started to fall that's why Grandfather's company bought it and plans on refurbishing the whole company.

We were all in the Living area when we watched Dad's farewell speech in the Assembly. Mom was present with him same as Yun-ho Oppa who came home from US with Jae oppa and Jess unnie.

He started the speech thanking the Korean people for supporting his term and all his economic reforms, projects for the last five years. That serving the nation was a great honor for him and for our family. Dad announced to them that he will lead a quiet life taking care of his almost 2 month old grand daughter Yoona, which elicited good response from the crowd and announced that he's also going to have another grandchild to expect by the end of the year.

All of the cameras turned to Yun-ho Oppa who suddenly turned red shaking his head and waving his hands saying No. Amber and I were laughing in oppa's reaction because he was panicking and Jess is giggling beside him, not really helping with the situation.

Dad saved him by immediately saying that he's expecting it from his youngest, meaning it's me. Since the media doesn't know me so well and just referred to as the 'Young gifted surgeon Jung', they showed a photo of me and Amber.

Our eyes went wide, I dropped the bottle of mango juice I was drinking, seeing our wedding photo being shown by my very own father. Amber choked on her own saliva seeing it and being exposed like that. Dad announced that we got married last year in L.A. and the young doctor who saved him is his daughter in-law for anyone else who doesn't know it. And that we are expecting our first child by the end of the year.

Gosh... So much for outing us to the rest of the world. CNN and other foreign networks are covering his speech. Sigh.

At the end of his speech, he apologize to the people if he did lack of something in his term. He did his best of providing good service to the Korean nation and hopes that his successor will continue the projects he has made.

"For 5 years, I have been the father of this nation and help nourish this nation by taking care of the Korean people like they were my own kids. On my last year, I realized, I was too focused on taking care of the nation that I forgot to care for my own family. My children.... That's why after this speech, I, Jung , will be back to my private life and start on focusing my time spending with my family and the future generations we will have. Four months passed, Amber is already fully healed and what remains are the scars on her belly that reminds us of that fateful day. She asked me one night when we were on the bed, my head resting on her lap while she leans her back on the headboard. If I want it to be surgically correct, plastic surgery to cover the scars.

"Why would I..." I said while tracing the scars with my fingertip. "It's a reminder on how brave you are and the day you came back when I almost lost you." 

She was my hair while her free hand rest on my belly, carefully caressing it. "You know... It doesn't look good. I'm lucky my intestines didn't burst out..."

"Please don't say it... It's cringe worthy.."

"You're a surgeon, you're use to that kind of scenes. You even touch hearts... I mean literally touch the organ." I cringe again.

I don't know why, but when I got pregnant I can't stand seeing internal organs and such. I know it's my job but still, I cringe when I see it even in photos. That's why if I have a patient who really needs a surgery, I endorse them to a colleague of mine. But if their heart ailment can still be heal without doing surgery, I do my best to treat them.

And hours long surgery isn't advisable for me now that I'm pregnant. I can't... I'm easily getting sleepy or worse, my mood swings get the hell of me.

The poor victim of my mood swings? Who else will it be...

I'm a jealous person and Amber knows that. Even when we were still dating secretly she knows not to make me jealous by not talking or flirting with anyone. Because she knows what she will get if I see her getting flirty with the nurses even if she isn't.

My jealousy before will only get her with giving her a cold shoulder or not giving her a kiss until she begs for it, and it will lead to something hot that we will have to muffle our noises at the call room. Or sometimes, well we only did it one time and never happened again, in the shower room at the doctor's lockers.

Yes, the Llama already blessed the shower room lockers like what she dreamed of. We weren't married yet and still secretly dating and annoying each other. We had a fight back then because of me nagging her about the giggling interns at the weekly meeting. I got jealous because she waved at them, that time we were still in secret and always bickering. I stomped on her feet hard under the table, like I'm stomping on a cigarette .

After the meeting, she pulled me inside the locker and placed an out of order sign at the door. Long story short, we had some exchange of words, said sorry, then made up. That lead to the make up she always love and eventually blessing the showers there. I was so nervous at first because someone might find out but I forgot about it while we're doing it.

We emerged from the lockers with Yuri unnie and Doc Soo looking at us suspiciously. I just shoved Amber out of the way and walked straight to my office without turning back. And I wasn't breathing that time, holding my breath because I don't want us to be caught.

But now, the jealousy I have is to the next level. I'm on my second trimester and things get a little physical when I'm jealous or having my mood swings.
