"Take us to Namsan Tower P2."

The place to be tonight instead of that hopeless party. It's the place I hold dear to my heart.

"Yah! W-why are we going there? It's already late!" Amber whispered to me scratching her nape. I checked the clock on the car dashboard and we still have 30 minutes til the tower close its doors.

I rolled my eyes and played with the spinner on my fingers looking outside the window "I know... I just want to go there and think.." and I found out you haven't been there you y idiot. I hid a smirk on her remembering what I heard the other day.

Flashback

Luna and I agreed to meet at the hospital lounge the other day. When I got there, Key was already there and Amber was just standing up to leave because she has to do her rounds. She welcomed me with her smirk that I always want to erase with a kiss.

Scratch that.

"Hey Dr. Jung... You're late." I meronged at Amber earning a hearty laugh from her. Gosh... I love hearing that laugh. She raked her hair back with her fingers making me gulp because what the heck! It was y as... Ugh!

I just wish it was my fingers raking on that hair...

Tsk tsk tsk... I'm starting again.

"I'm not late."

"You're late, because I'm going now. You won't have a chance to torture me with your feet stomping and arm pinching." She meronged at me too while ruffling her hair "Sorry~"

I stopped in front of her and smiled sweetly, our bodies just inches away. "Nah...it's okay. And by the way, it's not too late." I stomped on her foot while looking at her making her cringe. "There you go Dr. Liu... You already had your daily fix from yours truly." I sat beside Luna grinning while Amber wriggled her foot smirking at me.

"Thanks Princess Forehead..." She said to me sarcastically. "I'm going now guys, before I become invalid." She waved at us and gave me a wink. Oh... I love that wink.

"Idiot..."

There was silence while I sip my Iced Coffee, Luna and Key staring at me like I grew another head. They were smiling waiting for me to speak. What the heck is it?

"Do I have something on my face?"

Key shook his head still beaming at me.

"Why are you looking at me?"

"Nothing~ you just look different today..." Luna chirped and the two of them high fived at each other. Weirdos.

"Haha..." I made a funny face and pouted while sipping my coffee. What's different? I just applied my usual lipgloss and perfume, I'm using my All-day face powder so I still look normal.

"By the way, have you been to the N Tower Lun?" Key asked her starting a conversation. I fumbled with my phone checking the messages I haven't read from this morning. There was a message from Unnie telling me to wear a dress for the party the President and Prime Minister will hold a day from now.

The other message was from Yun-ho Oppa asking me if I will bring anyone to the party so he can RSVP. I was going to reply No, but then I remembered the idiot a while ago and had a crazy thought.

Will Amber say Yes if I ask her to?

Err.... I... I don't know.

And besides it's not my party, I'm just gonna observe and watch how Unnie and Oppa let Dad decide on their life. I pity those two... They want to marry and be with their partners but they can't. They're still lucky Dad doesn't know anything about their secrets. I replied a big NO and a smiley to Oppa then played with my cup.

"Do you know that Amber haven't been there all these years that she's living here in Seoul?!" My ears perked up like a cat when I heard Amber's name.

She haven't been to N Tower? Why?

"Jjinja!? Hahaha! Seriously?! She grew up here in Seoul! Don't tell me she haven't been to Gyeongbokgung Palace either?"

"I don't know Lun... Tsk tsk tsk... Poor Amber. She asked me the other night if I've been there and I said yes. She told me she would love to go there but she doesn't have time. You know Amber, always busy with her duty." I can tour her in the tower of she wants me to... For free...

"Most probably she's just waiting for the right time... You know..." Sigh.

The Namsan Tower or the N Tower is my fortress of solitude. It gives me solace, watching the 360° panoramic view of the city. I started going there when I was still in High School, always at night because I can see the bright lights of the city from there.

When I want to think, when I want to forget. I always go there alone, Kim Samchon just standing far away giving me space and moment to collect my thoughts.

I haven't been to the T2 or the floor where the lovelocks are located. I bet the deck there has a good view but I'm too shy to visit it. I'm alone for Godsakes! What am I gonna do?! Put a Lovelock with my name and Fluffy's name on it?!

You and Dr. Liu can put a Lovelock in there you know...

My mind drifted imagining a scene where the two of us will be walking on the deck smiling at each other, then she'll produce a padlock....

I shook my head shaking away the out of this world corniest thought I just had.

Eeew.

I continued on drinking my Iced Coffee biting my straw like a kid. Thinking that I will never ever ever do that corny Lovelock thing in N Tower unless a meteor shower occurred in my very eyes.

Unknown to me, the two eggheads are smirking and smiling like crazy.

End of flashback

I was broke from my reminiscing when Amber's husky voice called my name. I turned my head on her direction, her index finger poking my cheek. "Hey Dr. Jung, you're quiet." I gave her a small and tired smile swatting her finger away.

"I'm just tired..."

"Then why are we going to Namsan? We could just go home and rest... I m-mean... You to your apartment go home...me to my apartment go home. What am I saying...." She look like a fool saying that. Hahaha...

"I just want to think... Have you... Have you been there Dr. Liu?" I asked her even though I know the answer. I'm just checking if she'll say the truth or not. She grinned at me embarassed at the revelation.

"The truth is, I haven't been there, ever. My Dad promised me before to visit the tower when I was still a kid but it never happened. He was a busy man earning money for our family, Mom is busy too working. Their rest day is spent with me and my sister staying indoors and having a family bonding." I nodded at her interested on her story. "There was also a chance back in Middle school when the school had its annual field trip. Unfortunately, I caught chicken pox so..." She made a kaboom gesture in her hands "There goes my chance to see the tower."

The car stopped at the drop off point, Amber's face filled with questions. I pushed her shoulder to get her attention because her neck is breaking trying to see what's outside the window.

"This is the drop off point, we'll have to hike going to the tower." I started to take off my stilleto and massages my tired feet. I was surprised when she took my feet and placed it on her lap and started to massage it. .. my cheeks are burning from embarassment.

"What are you going to wear? Going barefoot?" Samchon cleared his throat to get our attention, teasing me with a smile. I rolled my eyes at him shaking my head.

"Dr. Jung, your shoes." He passed it to Amber and the idiot accepted it. Out of embarassment, I grabbed the shoes on her hands and sat straight up to put my shoes on. The blush on my cheeks hidden from her by my long hair and because of the darkness inside the car.

Amber was laughing softly because of what I did earning a push on her shoulders from me. Idiot.

"Wait... It's 5 minutes before 11:00 pm, are we still allowed to enter the tower?"

"Yup...we are. Don't worry I'm a regular here. They know me..." I winked at her while fixing my hair.

"Dr. Jung I already arranged everything while we're on the way here. Shall we?" Samchon went out of the car and opened our door. He will accompany me and Amber inside while P2 will stay in the car. P1 arrived with Amber's car and it made me smile because I like it. I never knew she has this kind of sports car....

"Like my car?" He grinned at me smiling like a kid. I raised my eyebrows at her shaking my head. "I bought that with my savings that's why I'm proud. That's the fruit of me working 3 shifts and saving a lot of lives before I had the chance to buy that car."

Both of us started the hike going up to the tower. Samchon just meters behind giving us privacy. He was smiling at me that's why I pouted at him like a kid. I'm just lucky Amber didn't see it or I'll be embarass forever.

There are still a few people around the area enjoying the place even if it's late. Some of them are smiling while looking at the two of us. I know, our outfits are unusual. My outfit is unusual. White dress paired with my light colored sneakers. Awesome combo very aesthetic. Hahaha.... Sigh.

Amber, she look so... y... with what she's wearing. She took off her tie with 2 buttons of her white dress shirt ed showing her skin. Her navy blue dress pants looking good on her thin legs and black oxfords to match it. She has her navy blue coat neatly folded and hanging on her arm, the sleeves of her dress shirt rolled up to her elbows and a black Casio G-Shock adorning her wrist.

Damn... She looks yummy.

Jung Soojung get a hold of yourself.

I never thought the time will come that I'll see the tower with someone beside me for the first time. I always enjoy my moments alone but somehow tonight I'm excited. Excited to know how it feels to see the view from up above with someone.

Is this a date?!

There was a comfortable silence while we hike. Her hands are inside her pocket while mine are swinging at my side. I'm enjoying the view of the night sky filled with stars shining down on us. I didn't know she was watching me while I'm smiling at the sight of the sky. When I turned my head to her, there she was having an amused smile on her face. I shoved her shoulders playfully earning a laugh from her.

"Don't look at me idiot, look at the view."
