A/N: Finally! Hey chingus! I got the scare of my life this morning when my Office App crashed. I was in a panic because I can't open the file for this chapter. 😭 I should have posted it last night but I fell asleep.

I was hellbent on starting the chapter again but then, the Heavens heard my plead. I retrieved the file!

"Babe...tell me... I did something...something...s-stupid, r-right?!" I chuckled at Amber's fallen face once we got out of Dad's office. I took her cold hand and blew hot air on it trying to calm her down.

When Dad told me to bring Amber to my room and gave me that smile, I know for sure this visit will have a good outcome. Somehow a big chunk of nervousness was lifted off from my chest when Dad showed me that he is willing to understand everything.

"Hey Dr. Liu, calm down. You did good... you were awesome, too awesome that Dad wanted you out of his office~.." I making her whine.

"Soojung-ahhhhh!"

"Just kidding babe.." I smiled and gave her a peck on her lips. "Let's go and sleep first, we'll come back later to talk with Dad... Before you say anything to him that you must not say! My God...tsk tsk tsk. " I shook my head teasing her, "Asking my hand in marriage just like that..." I mumbled to myself with a shy smile on my lips. "Let's go idiot!" I intertwined our hands and proceeded to my room at the residence.

"I'm sorry babe, I got out of control."

"It's okay idiot, you said the right words." I squeezed her hand lightly earning a bright smile from her while we walk hand in hand. I never thought this time will come sooner, the two of us walking in the corridors of the residence together after talking to the President.

Maybe he already saw Amber's credentials and admired it. Well my idiot is admirable enough, she's the best surgeon in that hospital. I was actually thinking of telling her to insure her hands, you know, like J.Lo insuring her . 

Yeah...she needs to insure these precious hands or I'll be damned.

I intertwined our hands and walked in the corridor like a couple having a date. I took a glance at Amber and i saw her curious stares at the art pieces displayed all over.

"You like the paintings babe? That one is a collector's item, a portrait of Empress Myeongsong that thought to be destroyed when the Japanese forces assassinated her in Gyeongbokgung Palace." I went on and on about the art pieces laid before her eyes. She was like a curious kid asking questions at me which I willingly answer with a smile and giggle. 

I was imagining the two of us before, running out of the office being chased by PSS guys while Dad shouts 'GET THEM!' after revealing our relationship. That Amber and i will run then get inside her waiting car and speed off somewhere where no one knows us. I think my imagination went wild that moment, because what happened earlier is the opposite of what I've been thinking of.

The way Dad talked to me shows that he's willing to listen, that he's open to the thought of his youngest child being in a relationship too with a woman just like his other daughter. I just hope that he'll approve of Amber for me, and not push that Dr. Kang to me again.

I love Dad, I love him to the extent that I chose to go away and not see them. See him. Because the more I see him, the more i am reminded of his sin to Mom. I was hurt, truly hurt when I saw him being cozy with a woman that isn't my mother. 

I was still on a delusion then that their marriage won't break apart, that Dad is busy performing his duty to the country as an Assemblyman that's why there were times he doesn't come home. 

My rebellion back then was just a phase in my teenage life, to annoy them because they are pushing me to top everything, pressuring me to do good here, smile like this, act like this. That's why even if I know that I can easily beat Vic at the number 1 spot, Vic knows it too, I chose to settle at number 2. In that way, no pressures. 

I was looking for attention from him because it seems he became too engrossed on serving his country that he forgot about his kids. Studying became my solace and going to the N Tower. 

And yes, one of the main reason why I accepted his order for me to study abroad is because of him. Because I don't want to be reminded everyday of the scene in the norebang that left me broken hearted.

The crack in our relationship came just like that. Over the years I know he's been doing everything to patch things up, it's just that I'm not up to it. Maybe because I already lost faith in him. That's why our relationship as father and daughter became cold and we don't see eye to eye most of the time. 

But seeing him this morning with that kind of look when he welcomed us made me think that Dad changed. He's willing to try, willing to understand. That finally he realized that his kids are all grown up adults now and not teenagers who he can control. That we can decide for ourselves and capable of doing what we want. 

There's a possibility that he already has a copy of Amber's personal profile.

Your father is not the President of this country for nothing! He can ask his staff to gather all informations on this y doctor beside me. Maybe Dad is impressed with her credentials and clean records. Who doesn't love this idiot?! Practically everyone in the hospital loves her, - the kind, giving, funny, friendly, and y doctor that belongs to me.

Thank God I haven't encountered anyone from her previous flings and girlfriends back in the days when she was still active. She confessed to me before that she had a lot of 'female friends' back in High School. But when she entered the university she changed her lifestyle and became busy with her studies. That was why she was hungry.

I took a glance of her side profile while we were walking, her side profile making me bite my lips unconsciously. She's calm now while looking at our surroundings, admiring the works of art displayed on the wall. The way she bit her lips then smirked made me a little hot inside.

Control yourself! You're in a sacred place, even your sister and brother told you they don't have the guts to do it inside the official residence.

How can I cleanse my mind when what I am smelling right now is Amber's fresh scent that always makes me weak. That smelling her is a hobby I enjoy doing especially when she's newly showered.

Once we got inside my room, I locked the door and helped Amber get out of her clothes. Actually, I stripped her leaving only her boxers. She was standing in front of me, her hands resting on my hips, watching me take off my shirt with a dreamy smile on her lips indicating that she's enjoying it.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" My eyebrow arched when she smiled at me. 

"Hmmm... Not yet. We haven't reach the best part yet. By the way, do you know who is the first Presidential child who had on this room?" My brows furrowed on her question, not getting what she's asking.

"I don't know and I don't care. Besides, will anyone ever think of having here when you know the President is just near... Too risky." i chuckled. Too risky especially if you'll scream your fantastic . It may alarm security details thinking there's an invasion.

What if you'll be the first one Soojung?!

So? Can I hold it as a bragging rights!? Unnie will nag me for sure.

But it's definitely one hell of an experience hehehe...

One thing I learned early in our relationship about Amber that I forgot about now is her love of taking risk when it comes to the sack. I forgot she loves risky , I forgot we even had in the beach and at the rooftop of the hospital. That her look at me now is something between sleepiness and triggered when I said the word 'risky'. 

"I thought we're sleeping~?"

"We are! I'm just going to take off my clothes so I can sleep comfortably. Why don't you lie on the bed now, I'll follow babe..." I winked at her. Oh yeah Soojung you one hell of a tease!

I was going to turn my back on her and go to the closet when she suddenly pulled my wrist and wrapped her arms around my body lifting me up in the air.

"You're not going anywhere Dr. Jung! Let's go and bless this bed.." she winked at me ily while dropping me gently on the bed, then kneeled in between my legs reaching for the button of my pants.
