Title: Preview of MTV’s ‘Match Up’ 5^th episode reveals CEOs’ past.

The members of Troublemakers and H4 were filming in a rural area for their MT camp and despite the fact it being in a remote area, many fans have gathered and set up camp as well. In one of the games, the members along with Jenny and Hyunseung were meant to say things to each other to try and increase the heart rate of the member of the other team. Past photos were revealed but the most interesting piece of history was Jenny and Hyunseung’s.

In the start of the series, fans were quick to point out that Jenny and Hyunseung has quite a close relationship but just thought that it was for the show and their personalities just clicked but in the game, to get Jenny’s heart rate to increase, Hyunseung hinted of a previous relationship between the two. You were signing some paperwork when Som and Landy got into your office.

“Oh! How did you two get in here?”

“Your dad gave us passes.”

“Is it limited?” you asked.

“Haha. You’re so funny,” Landy said sarcastically.

“Oh my gosh Jenny! I can’t believe you actually agreed to do that!” Som whacked your arm lightly.

“Yeah, do you know how many fanboy’s hearts you broke?” Landy pushed you.

You looked up from doing the paperwork, “Do what?”

“Aish! Don’t act so innocent. We saw the preview for the show!”

You laughed as you nodded your head, “Ah… you saw that.”

Som and Landy looked at you, “And…”

“And what? Nothing happened?” you tried to defend yourself.

“Nothing happened?!” Som raised her voice.

“Yes! It was just for show. So what if people dig up our relationship? It means nothing. We were in high school.”

“Seriously, do you feel anything for Hyunseung?”

“I feel annoyance towards him.”

“You have to have felt a heart beat skip or something?”

You shook your head casually, “Nope.”

“Yah… what happened between you two anyways?”

“It was all for fun and games. You know, making fake love lines for variety’s sake.”

I actually didn’t know if it was for variety’s sake or not. I have no idea why Hyunseung brought it up. If he wanted to win the game, he could have started a new love line. He didn’t need to bring up the past.

“Yah, we’re starting to get worried about you, you’re 24. You should be dating.”

“I did date!” I defended myself.

I picked up my phone and saw Hyunseung’s caller ID. Why the heck is he calling?

“Who is it?”

“Hyunseung…” I stared at my phone in a confused manner.

“Well don’t just stare at it, pick it up!”

I rolled my eyes as I pressed the speaker.

-----------------Phone call------------------- *Italics = they’re mouthing it*

Me: Why’d you call?
Hyunseung: Well hello to you too.

Landy: How’d he get your number?

Hyunseung: I called because it’s been about a month since it happened but I think I should apologise.

Som and Landy: What did you two do last month?
Me: Nothing!

Hyunseung: Hello?
Me: Oh, yeah? *pauses* What is it?
Hyunseung: You know the – um… the… the first filming for ‘Match Up’?
Me: *laughs* Yeah…
Hyunseung: The thing that happened after it…

Som: What happened?!
Me: Nothing.
Landy: Something happened!
Me: No!
Som and Landy: Oh my gosh! Something did happen!

Hyunseung: *annoyed* Hello? Are you there?
Me: Oh! I’m so sorry; I got distracted by my pet… goldfish. They are such a nuisance.
Hyunseung: Goldfish? You find goldfish a nuisance?
Me: Yeah! I don’t know why but THEY just seem so NOSY.
Hyunseung: Um… yeah… *pause* Actually! I have a pet goldfish as well!
Me: Okay…
Hyunseung: Yeah, I find my goldfish annoying too. He really likes watching dramas.
Me: What?
Hyunseung: Well- I- I- I meant like, whenever I’m watching something-
Me: Why’d you call me?
Hyunseung: I wanted to apologise for what I said after the filming.
Me: It’s been a month. You should have apologised earlier.
Hyunseung: What is that supposed to mean?
Me: Nothing. I’m not the one to ponder on the past.

Me: Sorry, I thought we were repeating things.
Hyunseung: I take my apology back.
Me: I never accepted it anyways.

Som: Why are you two like this?
Landy: Jenny ah! No!

Me: I think our calls should be kept strictly business.

Thoughts of my liking Hyunseung rushed through my head. I was getting upset and I knew exactly why I was getting upset but I didn’t want it to be true.

“Jenny… are you conversations with him always like this?”

“No, this is the second, non-business phone call,” I mumbled.

I need time to myself…

“Um… guys, I need time on my own…”

“You sure you don’t want to talk about it?” Som asked.

I nodded my head, “Yeah. I’d rather think about this myself. I’ll be back to being myself in no time.”

Som and Landy left the room and the feeling of heartbreak possessed me. Spending the past month with Hyunseung on the show has made me begin to slowly fall for him again. The first episode, I was just flirting with him to play with his feelings. When I went on the MT trip… I don’t know. We argued but it was slightly playful.

No. No. I can’t fall for Jang Hyunseung. Possibly forgive but never forget. That was the worst break up I knew that happened in real life. I could deal with cheating because it had logic behind it. The cheater was probably bored, didn’t want to be tied down or something. His one didn’t. But that doesn’t make either person good. I can’t fall for Jang Hyunseung. Be strong Jenny! Be strong!
