Chapter 6

Jaejoong yawned as Yunho spoke. He couldn’t help but wonder who was looking after Yunho son if he spent most days at work working late nights like this. He felt slightly sorry for Yunho son did his son felt the affection of a father love. Then again who was he to talk his father barely had time for him. He was always alone. 

“I apologise for using you today as well, I realise I may have put you on the spot.” Jaejoong couldn’t help but look toward Yunho with his glassy eyes, “But Junsu said you would be perfect for the shoot.” It felt weird Yunho apologising to him a second time, he was the boss didn’t they have the right to make them do what he wanted.

“What… wait what do you mean Junsu….?” Jaejoong asked. “Did you discuss this with him before you came to my floor and demanded I do this?

“Sort of….” Jaejoong couldn’t help but wonder why Yunho was telling him this.

“Sort of, what doesn’t that mean….?” Jaejoong turned in his seat slightly annoy at the thought that they played him.  “Do you mean you both played me ….I’m such an idiot.”

“What are you talking about you did great…..

“But I’m not a model…”

“Could have fooled me…. The way you moved and pose said something different. Jaejoong stopped himself from saying something he knew he would regret.

“Still you should have used me like.” It burst out of Jaejoong mouth before he could stop himself. “You should have asked me, Instead Junsu and Yourself discussed me doing something that was out of the question, which involved me. I may work for your company but you shouldn’t have used me like that. Unbelievable……” The car became silent. Jaejoong was racking his brain. Why couldn’t he control his mouth?

“I shouldn’t have spoken to you like that… you’re my boss I’ve not very proud of my outburst.” Yunho took a glance at Jaejoong. “And last time…. I shouldn’t have taken your son...

 “You didn’t say anything I didn’t already now, and what father leave a small child in his office alone it was  good you were there. I’m a rubbish father, Karam spends most of his day in daycare than at home, or my parents or brother anyone I can drop him on at a moment notice. He betters off if he’s not with me.”

“Is that how your son feels….or you…..” Jaejoong was screaming inside his head at himself, ‘shut up Jaejoong you and you’re big mouth don’t you know when you stop, “

“No… he can’t speak that well he’s two.

“Then how do you know….., Benefit of the dough…” Jaejoong commented making Yunho take  his eye off the road only for a second. “You think you’re doing your best by staying away for him right? So stupid….fathers are so stupid, do you realise the damage your causing… well maybe have already caused… Do you?  Kid need love, they need to know they have a parent there for him. Don’t you get that….As long as he knows you love him and tell him that every day, that means so much more to a child than having a father provide for them by been a workaholic father.”

“You really believe that….”

“No, I don’t believe that I know it.”

“Believe me, not many would have you optimism. You…..” Yunho phone began to ring. He pulled over to the side of the road. Jaejoong figured it was work. “I’ll be right back Yunho stood out of the car picking up the call. Jaejoong could only watch as Yunho voice was heard. The door was swung open Yunho got back in. “I need to go somewhere….?”

“Okay…I can make it home from here.” Jaejoong was about to reach for the seatbelt when Yunho started the car. “Yunho…..

“It won’t take too long. Stupid brat….”

“You really don’t have to I’ll be alright from here…

“I’m not going to leave you here…. It’s way too late for someone like you to be walking home on your own.” Jaejoong couldn’t help but be taken back by that statement. He wasn’t sure if he should feel insulted or honour Yunho thought about his safety “Where are we going?” Yunho drove off looking in the rear-view mirror,

“I idiotic brother is probably drinking himself to death at a club….,” Yunho held a sour look on his face, “He does this every time… seriously.

“Isn’t he okay?”

“That stupid kid is probably drinking……He knows better…

  Yunho speed up the car before parking outside a nightclub, “Wait here I won’t be too long?”

“I’ll help you?”

“No…

“Two People looking for him is better than one…” Jaejoong was out of the car before Yunho could say another word. “He’s the one that brought your son last time right I think I remember what you look like.” Jaejoong was already making his way to the long line. Yunho stopped him grabbing hold on to his wrist  dragging him to the front of the queue to the front. “Yunho….?”

“End of the Line…." the bouncer looked him over.

“How about you let me in and I get an underage youth out before this nice club is shut down for letting a minor in. “ It's not like i want to stay or anything i just was  to get my brother and well be out of your way.” With that Yunho was let in Jaejoong stayed close to Yunho as they got past the front door.

“What his name…..

“Changmin….” Jaejoong nodded. When they got inside Yunho saw how packed the place this was going to be difficult.

“Let’s Split….” Before Yunho could stop Jaejoong was gone from his sight. “Changmin your dead when I find you” Yunho muttered into the crowd. Yunho wandered around look yet Changmin was no in his sight. He eyes did find Jaejoong a number of times; it was like his eyes were drawn to him. It wasn’t until Jaejoong began waving at Yunho pointing at the direction of the crowd area. That Yunho hurried through the crowd. Jaejoong had found him. Jaejoong was being pulled by someone “Jae….

“Just get him out….?” Jaejoong told him. “I’ll follow you in a minute.” Yunho pulled a drunken Changmin up from his seat. He Looked for Jaejoong wondering would he be alright.

“Yah let go…..!” Jaejoong shouted at  the guy that swung him around. “Awh come on beautiful just a dance…

“Let go…..

“I’m interested in you, you’re interesting.” Jaejoong thought this guy was strong. “I’m not a thing okay? So let go now!” Jaejoong shouted at him again. But he didn’t go, what he did next was move closer to Jaejoong pushing into a darkened area of the club. Jaejoong felt his back against a wall this guy was seriously drunk. Jaejoong did his best to push him off. The Guy smirked before leaning in and forcing himself into Jaejoong space until their lips met, Jaejoong hit his chest and tried to release himself but the guy didn’t know when to stop.... Jaejoong pushed on his shoulder but the guy grabbed guy hand stopping him. The next thing Jaejoong was doing his kneed the guy in the side. Making him let go… Jaejoong freed himself before he began to walk away.

Yunho had just managed to get Changmin into the car when he looked back to the club wondering about Jaejoong. He locked the car before he was about to go back in when Jaejoong came out of the crowd walking toward him. “Jae look out… he ran toward him but it was too late someone had grabbed Jaejoong by the neck and forced his head into the ground.

“You son of a . “ Yunho pulled the guy forcing. And was about to punch the guy . “Get away from him,” Yunho shouted.

“D-don’t… Y-Yunho….” Yunho looked back to Jaejoong who was getting off the ground with difficulty. “Not worth it….” Yunho shoved the guy into one of the security guards, Before returning to Jaejoong, “Jaejoong…. Yunho had Jaejoong lean on him. There’s was blood flowing from a graze on Jaejoong head. Jaejoong would have fallen to the ground again if it wasn’t for Yunho holding him up it was like Jaejoong was falling over his own feet…

“I need to….

“y-Yunho...” Jaejoong stammers, eyes filling with tears as he moves quivering fingers to brush the messy strands out of his closed eyes, blood leaking into his eyes. Yunho couldn’t help but feel responsible. Jaejoong temple was swollen and red, a cut that blood leaked from. Yunho helped him into the passenger seat. Turning Jaejoong face, to face him. “Don’t sleep…. You need to stay awake….” Yunho told him. “I need to get you looked at…

“No hospital….

“Jae….

“It could be serious….

“I’m fine…. It o-only a small abrasion I’m fine.” Jaejoong told him. He was feeling a little drowsy.

“Like hell…..” Yunho looked around he knew this area. There was a clinic around here if he remembered but that was a long time ago when Karam was a new-born. He remembered the panic he shared with his wife one night when their new-born came down with a fever. Been new time parents they knew nothing and sought out answers to their questions.  Yunho hurried into the car driving fast….. This was his fault…. “Jaejoong don’t sleep…” He looked into the back his brother sprawled on the backseat not  knowing what he caused.
