Chapter 28

Jaejoong didn’t take time off work, Though Karam had come to the office three days in the first week for a couple of hours Jaejoong usually made a few pit stops to Yunho office, throughout the day informing the staff he was watching Karam while Yunho was in a meeting. Karam couldn’t have been happier than to draw and watch some cartoon on a tablet Jaejoong had prepared. Jaejoong had prepared many snacks for the little one.  They had an appointment at the hospital once a week as kids bone could be a little tricky as they were still growing. Yet everything was going smoothly for the toddler. Karam didn’t mind the cast he quite liked it when Jaejoong drew a lot of his favourite cartoon all over it.

Yunho hadn’t told him what had been the big issue a work. He did ask but Yunho said it was nothing for him to worry about. That in time it would fix itself.  Some ideas had been changed around, But Yunho had said that was for pre the client request. Jaejoong wasn't convinced but as long a Yunho spun his lies, it on;y made Jaejoong more determine to find out what happen. Been in Yunho office helped him to snoop, A lot easier when Karam was there.

They had just two weeks until the wedding and Yunho wanted everything to be perfecting, and giving Jaejoong what he needed was on the top of the list. He’d planned to have flower dropped at Jaejoong desk for the next coming week little message include, Yunho figured Jaejoong would be really embarrassed but would find it cute “Umma could you help me with something?” he asked. Yunho mother gave him her full attention, “I want Jaejoong to have a bridal party or something like a special day out. I was hoping you and Junsu could do something with him.” He asked. Jaejoong didn’t have a family and didn’t have anyone attending the wedding. Which made Yunho really upset, Jaejoong said he didn’t mind, that going forward Yunho was doing to be his family, and that was all he was going to need.

“That’s not a bad idea Yunho?” she thought about it. “Why don’t you leave it to me, I’ll ring Jusnu and see what we can come up with.” Their plans were set Mrs Jung woke Jaejoong early that morning telling him she was taking him out for the day. They did a bit of shopping in the morning along with Junsu having an amazing pampering session. Get all glammed up. Before heading to what Jaejoong was told was an adult only tea party. Jaejoong couldn’t help but laugh. Mini cakes and set of food they couldn’t help but enjoy. At one point Jaejoong wanted to ring home and check in but was stop, Yunho mother and Junsu had everything planned.  It was a good day they talked about the most stupid of thing making Jaejoong embarrassed talking about what happens after a wedding. They were enjoying the tea party when Jaejoong thought of something. “Could you two wait for her for 10 minutes I need to do run across to the flowerist to check on the flowers for the wedding.” Jaejoong looked at the shop across the street, they had ordered their wedding flower for them.They both nodded Junsu, telling Jaejoong they would meet him outside…  not forgetting to tell him they had to be at the next location in 20minute.

“Do you think he's enjoying himself…..

“I think he is……?” Junsu spoke out, “Should we go after him.” They got up leaving the store they followed Jaejoong into the floweriest.  They could hear his voice

“I wasn’t  excepting you today…..” they heard the floweriest speak to Jaejoong, I have your order ready and will have them at the church on the day.

“I’m not here for that…. but Thank you. I was wondering if I could get my usual flowers please. ” That when Mrs Jung head tilted up. Jaejoong had never brought flower home unless Yunho gave them to him, she became curious and stopped Junsu for calling out to Jaejoong when they pointed him out at the back of the shop.

“Sure no problem…. Just give me a minute to arrange them.” Jaejoong looked to his watch. “Are you in a hurry?”

“A little…. My soon to be mother-in-law took me out of the day, They said I needed something to celebrate the occasion. We’ve been to so many places already today, and still there more to come I'm told. I think their trying to make me feel more part of the family. It means a lot to me…” Jaejoong smiled.

“Worried about the wedding any cold feet….”

“No yes….I don't know it’s a weird feeling knowing I’ll be married this weekend. I’m looking forward to it and not at the same time, I’m nervous and excited  at the same time if you know what I mean. I’m not his first wife and he loved her dearly I just hope I live up to his exception. I hope she approves of me to… to raise her son well. I love him to piece…. I love them both and his family too. I got to meet a lot of his family in the last few days. They were  all very Welcoming to me inviting me into their family….” The floweriest placed the flower in front of Jaejoong.

"I'm sure you to fine... And have nothing to worry about....."

"I hope so....." Jaejoong picked out two other set for flowers he wanted to give  to two people he took him out for the day. When they were ready he paid and left the shop. He  looked across the road to the tea shop he still had a few minute to make it to the intersection and back. He hadn’t realised the two others following him.

When Jaejoong stopped, so did they. Both eyes were on Jaejoong as he placed the flower on the ground. Mrs Jung realised where she was she’d see flower here before.. Many time, but she never thought Jaejoong would be the one behind it. “It’s that where the accident happen?” Junsu pointed out. Before Mrs Jung was able to answer Junsu phone rang he read the screen it was Jaejoong. “Do you think Yunho told him about here?” he asked, She wasn’t sure.

“Are you still at the shop I’m coming back….

“No you don’t need to, where are you?  we’re probably walking in that direction anyway.” Jaejoong gave the name Jusnu saying they would meet him in a minute. Junsu looked to Mrs Jung as he hung up. Why was Jaejoong leaving flowers here she wonder. By the time they met up Jaejoong gave them both the other set he bought, thanking them for the day out.

By the time the made it home that night  Jaejoong was exhausted and almost drunk he headed up to bed. Mrs Jung was in the Kitchen with Yunho.

“Yunho…. Can I asked you something.” She was rearranging the flower Jaejoong had given her when Yunho looked around. “Have you told Jaejoong where Taeyeon accident happen?” Yunho didn’t answer her, “Jaejoong lay flowers today at the accident site.?”

“Jaejoong doesn’t that every week Umma…."

"Why, though....?”

"He feels guilty,"Yunho told his mother as he looked up. “I’ve tried to get him to stop but Jaeoong is very insistent.

“What do you mean?” she asked. Yunho didn’t know how to explain it,

“The day of the accident Jaejoong was there ….” He let does work sink in before he continues. “Jaejoong tried to help he held Taeyeon hand when she died he  stayed with her. Jaejoong took Karam out of the car it's why we still have Karam, with us” Mrs Jung walked over to the table and sat in front of Yunho as he spoke. “Jaejoong witnesses everything  the whole accident, he lays flowers because he feels guilty for not been able to do more for her.” Mrs Jung covered . “Jaejoong had only arrived in Korea back them he couldn’t even speak the language. Don’t you remember him from the funeral… his hands were bandaged he gave me flowers and spoke in French to me…

“That was Jaejoong…. Omo..”

“Did you know this whole time….

“Not at the start when I hired him…. The more I spent time with him; I couldn’t shake the feeling I’d met him before. I couldn’t put my finger on it. Until I saw him with the flowers,”

“Does Jaejoonng know….?”

“He does know; he didn’t remember it was me at first. But the second he knew who I was he apologised for not been able to do more. Jaejoong had held her hand as she passed.” Yunho told her, “You’ve seen Jaejoong hand right.” How could he not the silvery line covered them every inch they were very hard to miss. “Jaejoong got them for getting Karam from the car even though his hand were in bits. He told her, “Jaejoong really something…..”  Yunho smiled. Jaejoong is the reason Karam is with us…..

“Why didn’t you tell us?”

“Jaejoong is just been himself, he feel guilty and I don’t want to bring it up. Jaejoong wouldn’t want you to change your reaction around him because of this.”

“Yunho…. Why would….

“I know….but

“Jaejoong one of a kind isn’t he….

“Yeah, he is….. someone very special to all of us………” Yunho answered her.
