Nightmares
Letters"Hey, YoonGi," Jimin had called out, motioning him over. YoonGi couldn't keep the smile off his face back then, and he walked over. Jimin held the boy's face with calloused hands.
"Hmm?" He hummed, closing his eyes and allowing Jimin to kiss his head.
"I love you. I love everything about you. Promise me we can grow old together," Jimin had whispered. YoonGi's eyes opened and he smiled.
"I promise."
Jimin probably hadn't taken into account the fact that 'can' isn't the same as 'will.' Or maybe he disregarded the entire conversation when he threw those empty wine glasses down and ripped a page out of YoonGi's song book, when he left them there the next morning, long after he'd left.
And that was how YoonGi's day started, with tired and numbing reminders of something that used to matter. The fact was, they were happy, but they ended like a car crash that had combusted and been left to burn the bridges they'd worked so hard to build.
So he stood there, staring into the mirror over the bathroom sink and sighing at the fact that he looked like he was half-dead. The steam of his shower began to fog up the mirror, showing the remnants of a happy face that YoonGi had drawn a few months ago in a damned order, a clinging-to-hope sorta thing, when he was determined to be happier. That was the time when the bed was unbearably cold without Jimin and smiling and taking care of himself were actually written on a list of chores.
And he'd gotten better. He assumed that was something to be proud of, right? Sure, there were days like today when YoonGi absolutely dreaded the idea of getting out of bed and wished he was no longer haunted with dreams with Jimin. And sometimes, he wondered if Jimin was okay or if he was loved.
YoonGi always managed to get out of bed and forget about it, get dressed, and go to work. Today was no different. Well, maybe it was, because he had something to look forward to.
Hoseok. Hoseok and his happy grin and smiling eyes and sweet giggle. Oh, and his y smirk, and his eyes when they were asking for trouble, and his voice when it was low. Hoseok gave YoonGi all sorts of emotions, and he regretted it so much when he didn't kiss him yesterday. But it was okay, because he would have another chance today.
"You're late this morning, Min," Hyojin stated as he walked in.
"Hey, nice to see you, too, Dolly. How does it feel to be ugly?" He asked with an easy, slick smile. Hyojin smirked.
"How does it feel to ?" She returned.
"Oh, you do that, too! I keep forgetting you like both," he giggled. Hyojin narrowed her eyes with a smile.
"YoonGi, your sarcasm is so refreshing," she told him. YoonGi suddenly heard the door open and he turned immediately. There was Hoseok with his sunlight smile. "There's your boy, Min," Hyojin whispered over the counter.
" you, I'm feeling affectionate
