Saturday
LettersSaturday. That was the first day in a long time that YoonGi woke up with a proud smile on his face. Hoseok would pick him up later at 6:15, and he was practically counting every second until his arrival, even though it was only 10:49 am and he desperately needed something to distract him.
He heard his phone buzz on the bed after his shower and he pounced on it, pawing at the 'Answer Call' button and putting it up to his ear. "Hello?"
"YoonGi! Where are you? It's past 10:30 and you're not here," Hyojin panicked in his ear. He grinned softly.
"I took the day off," he responded easily, words gliding smoothly off his tongue.
"Why the would you do that?" She yelled.
"Oh my god, calm down. I'm sure the customers can hear you. Please chill out. Ask Sica to help you. And there are other employees, too. Call Jinyoung and his little cousin. Gongchan, I think. And Hakyeon is coming in today. Oh, and Sooyoung. She's gonna show up. Chill out," he reminded the girl.
"Okay, okay, but why did-"
"Because I have a ing date today, Dolly. Come over after your shift. Bring that girl you like if you want," YoonGi offered.
"What? Kwon Yuri? Are you kidding me? She's too good for-"
"If I can get Jung Hoseok, and if Park Jimin got me in the first place, then surely you can try," YoonGi interrupted. Hyojin sighed.
"I'll bring JungHwa," she stated.
"You're such a baby. Okay, fine, bring JungHwa and be lame. I'll watch TV until you show up," he answered.
"Please don't be like that. What if I mess up and she thinks I'm weird?" Hyojin pointed out. Mess up? Ahn Hyojin, why is that such a big deal? That's all you do.
"Well, JungHwa knows that you're weird, and she's still your friend, so-"
"I meant Yuri," she clarified.
"Like I said. It's nice to try," he suggested.
Hyojin showed up at YoonGi's apartment with Park JungHwa. "Oh, Dolly, you brought your teddy bear, didn't you? Well, I suppose that's safer than asking Yuri," he greeted the girls, his tone sharp and condescending with Hyojin. She rolled her eyes.
"Stop. Yuri's busy," she said.
"Oh, is that your excuse this time?" He questioned, his back to her.
"LE told me about your date! Can I help you pick out your outfit?" JungHwa asked excitedly. YoonGi looked back and smiled proudly.
"Of course, Sweetie. Come on, Dolly, you can do my eyeliner if you want," he suggested, motioning for the girl to follow.
"Can I have a cute nickname like Hyojin-Unnie?" JungHwa asked as they followed
"Of course you can. I'll figure it out later if you don't mind. I have date to prepare for," he told the younger girl.
"I forgot how nice your bedroom was, YoonGi. Hoseok's a lucky guy to sleep here tonight," Hyojin declared as she walked in and sat on the bed.
"If. There's an if in that statement somewhere. It's more like if he wants to. It's a first date, Hyo, if he wants to go home, that's fine," the boy replied.
"Who's that boy, Oppa? Is that Hoseok?" JungHwa asked, looking at something from the boxed-out corner, which was almost like a shallow closet without a door. The boy didn't even have to look to know exactly what she was talking about.
"No. Stay away from there. That's a different boy. Hoseok is much better," he answered quickly. JungH
