Just For The Record
LettersAfter occasionally seeing YoonGi's face at the restaurant he went to with Seokjin, Hoseok decided that he could at least take a few steps in the right direction with YoonGi. He went down to the record shop without telling anyone. And just in case YoonGi wasn't there, he had a list of albums he liked.
Hoseok walked into the record shop, searching for that pretty face he liked. And he smiled brightly when he caught a glimpse of light brown hair between a pair of blue headphones behind the shelf of CDs, nodding in rhythm with that of a song which no one else could hear. YoonGi immediately whipped around with wide eyes and yanked off his headphones when he felt Hoseok's hand on his shoulder. "Umm, hello," YoonGi said, confused as to why some stranger tapped him on the shoulder.
"Hey, I was wondering-"
"Sorry, I don't work here," he cut Hoseok off. The other furrowed his eyebrows.
"I know that, YoonGi," he stated. YoonGi became even more confused.
"How do you know my name?" "Because you told me. Remember? You were Seokjin's and my waiter. Perhaps you don't know Seokjin, but I'm Hoseok. I'm the one who asked where you're from," Hoseok clarified. YoonGi's eyes widened and he gave a small smile. "Oh, hey! I remember you!"

"But I wanted to ask you something!" Hoseok stated. YoonGi started to walk away with his fingers in his ears."La la la la~ I can't hear you! La la- Yah, let me go!" YoonGi hissed as Hoseok grabbed his arm. Fortunately for Hoseok, he had a good grip.
"Yah, quit being so rude! I just wanted to know if you-"
"As a matter of fact, I am taken! Back off!" YoonGi fired back.
"No, you're not! And that's not was I going to ask," Hoseok stated. YoonGi stopped struggling and glared at the taller. Hoseok then realized he should've shut up sooner.
"How the would you know that I'm single?" He spat. Hoseok smiled.
"Because you just said so. I was testing you and you failed," he teased.
YoonGi rolled his eyes and stood up straight, completely unresisting to Hoseok's hold. "Okay, you got me there."
"First off, why are you so mean?" Hoseok asked.
"As compared to...?"
"When you were a waiter! You were nice and not avoiding people like the plague. What the ?"
YoonGi chuckled bitterly. "Because I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not too likable. The manager would've fired me on the spot if I wasn't on my best behaviour. She never liked me in the first place, but I still have to get money, because my ex left and didn't pay, and I have to do everything myself. And that's fine by me," YoonGi explained, and Hoseok almos
