Computer Chair
Letters"Jin, something wrong?" Namjoon asked the older as the man buttoned his black shirt in the mirror with a troubled face.
"You know you're the only one who keeps me sane, right?" Seokjin asked, looking up to the taller as he came up behind him.
"Of course, Darling," Namjoon replied with a smile, kissing his lips softly.
"Ugh, Hoseok is getting involved with this delinquent, YoonGi. He says they're just friends, but he's gonna end up dating someone who's already been broken and then he'll break poor Hoseok. You remember the last time. He was so sad he'd hardly eat and he fainted at the dance studio," Seokjin recalled. Namjoon kissed the top of his boyfriend's head.
"Jinnie, you have to stop treating them like kids. JungKook is a big boy, too, and he's been hitting on that girl from his dance class-"
"He what?" Seokjin asked, in the way that Namjoon knew he wouldn't want the real answer. He just wanted to hear that the information he'd just heard was false.
"Relax. I know you just want to take care of them, but you're not their mother. You have your own life, too, with me, so you don't have to wedge yourself in their lives. And besides, the girl he likes seems very respectful and sweet, and he adores her-"
"Why can't someone else adore her? JungKook's too squishy and soft and he's gonna cry," Seokjin pointed out. Namjoon raised his eyebrows before the older simply sighed in defeat. "I need a vacation, Namjoon-ah."
"Are you okay with being late to work today?" He asked suggestively. Seokjin smiled.
"Yes. As long as no one will notice the marks."
" you, I'm in charge here. I'll do whatever I want. I bought you that goddamn make-up for a reason."
Hoseok sat in the diner, checking his watch for the fifth time. "Is he showing up?" YoonGi asked.
"I hope not," he responded with a smile. "Maybe he's hanging out with his boyfriend."
"Hoseok, they're ing," YoonGi giggled, sitting in the chair that Seokjin had neglected to show up for.
Hoseok laughed and nodded. "Yeah, I know," he answered. YoonGi kinda liked Hoseok's laugh. He also kinda liked his face. Like, those soft brown eyes, and his smile, and his nose. And YoonGi also really liked the light Satoori dialect on his tongue, faded from years in Seoul, probably. "Hello?"
"What?"
"You blanked out there," Hoseok told him. Yes, Hoseok, but people tend to shut out the outside world when they're studying masterpieces, YoonGi thought.
"Yeah, sorry, sometimes I do that. I kinda just zone out. I didn't sleep well last night and you can imagine my disappointment when I had to come here," he replied with the narrowing of his eyes to show he was just kidding.
"Hey, look, I had to show up here only to figure out that Seokjin wasn't coming," he responded.
"Yes, he is," YoonGi said, hardly able to contain his giggles.
"No, he- Oh my god, you're such a child," Hoseok laughed, followed by YoonGi.
"Yah, I could be older than you."
"How old are you?" Hoseok questioned.
"I'm almost 25," YoonGi responded. "You?"
"You're old. I'm turning 24 in February," he stated. YoonGi purred at Hoseok's words. "Hyung!"
"Dongsaeng!" YoonGi giggled. Ahn Hyojin, another employee, watched the encounter with a small smile. Jessica noticed her line of sight and looked over as well.
"He's so gay," Hyojin stated.
"Yeah, and guess what? You're bi. He's not that interesting," Jessica replied.
"I want them to date. They're so cute," she said. Jessica rolled her eyes playfully.
"Maybe they will. Come on, leave them alone. Come help with the packages in the back."
"Hey, Hoseok?" YoonGi asked.
"Yeah?"
"Are you doing anything today?" He questioned. Hoseok started to shake his head but then groaned.
"It's Tuesday, isn't it? I have a dance class to teach at 6:15 and tomorrow, too. And Thursday," he hissed.
