"Well, I dare hope you have something else to tell us that we wouldn't know. Because this here is no breaking news." DuJun had laughed, raising inquisitive eyebrows at HyunSeung.

All of Beast had seated on the practice's room's floor as they had just finished their press conference regarding their new reality, "Beast Showtime", and as wished by HyunSeung, they had been all ears out to hear what he had wanted to tell them.

"So Hyuna was right, we were that obvious." HyunSeung had talked to himself, once again regretting having got angry at his girlfriend. 

"Pardon?" 

"Ah. Never mind. So you knew Hyuna and I have been dating. Next point, then." 

"How long has it been, Hyung?" 

The lead vocalist had turned his head towards DongWoon, feeling slightly uncomfortable suddenly. For a reason that had still remained unknown to him, he hated to be asked about Hyuna, be it by his loved ones or curious strangers. She was hers. It was their relationship. Why did people always want to know about things that didn't concern them?

"September of last year. Why?" HyunSeung had answered, slowly, eyeing .

"I'm just being nosy since we're doing boys talk. It had been awhile." The youngest member had said, raising his hands slightly, seemingly having sensed HyunSeung's mistrust. Well, good. 

"So, your second point is?" YoSeob had asked, curiosity noticeable in his frail voice. 

"My second point is…as we are going to be on a reality show meant for fans and that we will spend a lot of time together, I just wanted to suggest…for us, to actually use this occasion, to…get along again."

HyunSeung probably never had received that much attention in his entire life except the crowds he'd perform in front of on regular basis, let alone from s in the past year, that had looked at him with rounded eyes, and the lead vocalist had immediately regretted having made this move. 

"Who do you want, to do what?" Gikwang had uttered, dumbfounded.

"Don't make me repeat myself." HyunSeung had grumbled, looking at his shoes, embarrassed.

"He wants us to be friends again! Don't play idiots, Gikwangie." DuJun had said with joy, but HyunSeung had had the impression to have seen something different in the look he had given to his bandmate, but he hadn't been able to define what it had been.

"Let's celebrate this with a drink!" YoSeob had jumped on his feet, clapping his hands together.

"This is such a great news before starting off the show!" HyunSeung had heard some more, in the din of voices.

"And since when do you care about what fans think of our relationship?" 

Loud, unwavering, JunHyung's voice had rumbled in the room, making HyunSeung's whole body tense. The lead vocalist had swallowed his saliva, hating himself for still feeling affected whenever he had to confront his former best friend. HyunSeung had connected his eyes from where he had been sitting to his bandmate's, that had slightly dominated his, as he had stood up.

"Since I realized you could have done better. You?"  HyunSeung had retaliated, firmly. 

The rapper had narrowed his eyes at him, attempting to intimidate him like he always had in their numerous verbal encounters, even when he'd catch him about to say something or act a certain way that wouldn't please his group. But this time, HyunSeung hadn't flinched. He had had to bow his head in order to get this from Beast. And Hyuna's love, to the fullest. 

"Sure. It just hit you, right? She must be extremely proud of you." JunHyung had said, with a sour smile.

"JunHyung. " DuJun had gritted, throwing him a glare.

"Whatever. I know how to act in front of cameras, thanks for your useless advice. Now if you excuse me, I have songs to compose for our very next comeback." 

On these words, the rapper had left the room with large strides, completely ignoring  his leader's hand that had tried to stop him. 

"Get back to him guys, will you?" DuJun had pleaded the four others, with a swift movement of his head in the direction of the door.

"Loud and clear." Gikwang had sighed, walking towards the exit of the room. "By the way, HyunSeungie. I'm really proud of your decision." 

Relieved and anxious at the same time the sincerity HyunSeung had seen in his partner's eyes had made his stomach twist uncomfortably.
