Things were all going well with both couples, and their studies, and soon enough, January turned into February. The snow that once covered the Earth in a winter wonderland was now starting to melt away, but the chill remained in the air. The grass was still covered in a thin layer of white snowflakes as the couples walked home, 2 by 2 on the sidewalk. They were both holding hands, and each were having their own little conversation.

"You know what's coming up right?" Junhui asked, and Minghao looked up at the sky with a thoughtful face and cute pout,

"Hmm... Nope, your birthday's in June so it can't be that.."

"No~, this month."

"February... February... Is there anything important this month?"

Jun looked down at his boyfriend, scoffed and then tried to walk away but Minghao grabbed his arm,

"Wait~! Hint, give me a hint!" he pleaded

"The fourteenth!" Jun said. 

Minghao looked slightly confused, 

"Ah! Valentine's day~" Minghao finally came to his senses, laughing.

Jun rolled his eyes at his boyfriend's final realization. They relinked arms and started giggling to themselves as they continued walking. Overhearing their conversation, Wonwoo heard the word 'Valentine's Day', and his eyes went wide. Mingyu was listening to music, so Wonwoo assumed he hadn't heard the couple behind them's conversation. The Class President thought back to Christmas, and even their dates and acknowledged that Mingyu had taken most of the action. He set up the plans, and made sure Wonwoo had an amazing time, so he thought that it was time for him to do something for the taller. Although he was organized in class, he wasn't sure how he was supposed to make their Valentine's Day special. As he thought about it more, Wonwoo became amazed at how Mingyu managed to plan and execute their days together. He looked up at his boyfriend with admiration and love in his eyes, and caught himself staring but didn't stop. Mingyu caught the gaze and looked at him, making eye contact and took out one of his earbuds,

"Hm? What's wrong?" he said.

Wonwoo smiled sweetly and slightly shook his head,

"Nothing. What're you listening to?" 

Instead of answering, Mingyu took the earbud and placed it in Wonwoo's ear and after leaning in to place a quick kiss on his nose that was red from the cold. Wonwoo smiled, and listened, leaning his head on Mingyu's shoulder as they continued walking. Through the earbud, Wonwoo heard soft piano music along with a light, gentle female voice singing, 

Until the stars all fall down

They empty from the sky

But I don't mind, if you're with me

Then everything's alright.

Wonwoo was slightly surprised that this was what his boyfriend was listening to, but the song was beautiful nonetheless. 

"This song is so pretty," the Class President said. 

Mingyu continued looking straight ahead and said,

"Yeah, it is."

Wonwoo saw a sad smile appear on Mingyu's face, and wisely decided not to address it. The couple continued walking, and Wonwoo decided to start planning because he had chosen to be the one to plan out their Valentine's Day. 

"Babe, what're you doing on the 14th?" 

"Hmm? 14th?"

"Valentine's Day, what are you doing on Valentine's Day?"

"Ohh...", the taller said after being reminded of what that day actually was,

"You?" Mingyu teased, and Wonwoo slapped him, hard, on the arm. 

"I was just kidding~" he said, hugging Wonwoo who made a disgusted face and tried walking away. 

"What do you want to do that day, babe?" Mingyu said, actually taking the question seriously

"No~, I'm asking you." Wonwoo whined, "I want to plan this day, and take you around, and make you happy."

Mingyu smiled sweetly at his boyfriend's comment,

"Then, surprise me."

"Surprise you? What- No! How will I know what you want to do, and what you actually like?"

"Yah, did I ask you what you wanted to do on Christmas?"

Wonwoo shook his head in response, and Mingyu smiled into their hug

"Well, I like you. So, anything you do or plan will be enough for me."

"Okay! Then, I'll be planning everything, alright?" Wonwoo said,

"Yah, who said I was free that day?"

"Excuse me, but what else would you be doing that day, or who would you be with?" The shorter of the couple asked,

"Hm, well he wants me to meet up at the karaoke bar, then this other guy wants me to stay at this hotel-"

Wonwoo broke away this time, quickening his pace but Mingyu stopped him again,

"Just kidding~"

"Babe, I want this day to be special and you're treating it like a joke." Wonwoo said, seriously.

"It's because everyday with you is special!" Mingyu argued as he nestled his chin on Wonwoo's head as they walked.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry, we're definitely spending the 14th together." Mingyu kissed Wonwoo on the cheek, sweetly 

"Okay, babe?" his breath warming the shorter's cheek, making him blush slightly.

Meanwhile, Jun and Minghao were planning their own little day. They decided to do an at-home Valentine's Day, both agreeing they would much rather stay home, and relax in each other's company than get all dressed up and eat at a restaurant that had barely sufficient portions.

"Are you sure that's what you want to do?" Jun asked, unsure if Minghao would be totally satisifed with the plans they had been brainstorming about.

"Do I look like the type to wear suits and pretend I'm enjoying my overly priced meal?" Minghao replied, chuckling

"No, but I'm sure you'd look good in one" Jun replied, with a slick wink.

"Nah, I look better with them off," Minghao responded with an equally sly smirk.

Jun made a disgusted face, but then started laughing along with Minghao.

With both of their Valentine's Days planned, the couples walked home peacefully, talking amongst one another.

Fast forward a couple of days, and Friday became tomorrow. It was unfortunate that Valentine's Day didn't fall on a Saturday or Sunday, but Friday was sufficient enough. On Thursday night, Wonwoo spent half of his evening quickly finishing his assignments, and the other half in the kitchen with his mom.

"Honey, have you seen the cocoa?" Narin asked as she searched the cupboards.

"What? No, Mom, I don't cook or bake, so" Wonwoo replied as he started taking out bowls from the compartment underneath the sink.

"Ah! Found it!" Narin said as she stepped down from the stepladder, holding a bag of cocoa.

"Okay, so what recipe are we using?" she asked as Wonwoo fiddled with some spatulas and whisks,

"I thought you had a recipe, no?" the boy replied.

"Oh, right right. Is Mingyu allergic to anything?"

Wonwoo stopped what he was doing for a second to think, and quickly took out his phone from the pocket of his hoodie.

Wonwoo♡: Babe, are you allergic to anything?

He texted his boyfriend immediately, just to make sure his Valentine's Day gift wouldn't be his boyfriend's last.

Mingyu♡: Yeah, being away from you

The other replied with a kissy face emoji,

Wonwoo♡: You're so lame. But, really, do you have any allergies?

Mingyu♡: Lol, you love me. & nope, I'm good, why?

Wonwoo♡: Nothing! Ttyl, good night, see you tomorrow babe! 

Wonwoo quickly turned off his phone before he got carried away in a conversation with his boyfriend which is what he often did. After confirming his boyfriend should be fine with the ingredients they were going to use, he put his phone back in the pocket of his hoodie and then returned his attention to his mom,

"So does he have any allergies?" Narin asked again after seeing Wonwoo put away his phone with a smile on his face,

"Nope! We should be good to go."

Wonwoo started looking at and picking up bags of ingredients that were spread across the counter, a cute smile on his face as he thought about the chocolates and cookies that he would be making and giving to someone special tomorrow. Narin smiled at the happiness showing on her son's face,

"Sweetie, you really love him, don't you?"

"Mom, you already asked me this, and my answer's still the same." Wonwoo replied, smiling at his mom.

"Okay! Let's get baking, it's almost 10," Narin said as she rolled up her sleeves and stood before the counter and beside Wonwoo who had an excited facial expression. 

Wonwoo had never done this before, let alone has he had a boyfriend, but this year for Valentine's Day he decided to make homemade cookies and chocolates to give to his boyfriend tomorrow. He wasn't really that amazing at baking, but then again he barely even tried or had experience. So, he tried really hard this night to make the treats as delicious as possible. But, he was slightly clumsy, so he cut his fingers a couple of times, and burned his hands while trying to get his cookies out of the oven. Narin was there, but mainly supervised, Wonwoo told her that he wanted to do as much as he could by himself so that it was truly a gift from him. By the time he finished arranging the treat bag and cleaning up the kitchen, it was already 1AM, and Narin had gone upstairs to bed, considering she had work tomorrow. Wonwoo looked at the treat bag and it's contents and smiled, placing it in the fridge for the night, and finally going up to his room. After showering, he placed Band-Aids on the wounds on his hands, and went to bed.

Considering he went to bed past 2AM, Wonwoo ended up sleeping through his alarm and ultimately didn't end up going to school until Lunch. When he did finally wake up though, he was greeted with a cute good morning text from Mingyu, basically saying "Happy Valentine's Day", and embodied within a paragraph, how much the taller loved the other. When the Class President did get up, he started panicking, considering he had missed half of the school day, but quickly relieved himself when he was reminded that him and Mingyu's plans were after school anyway, and the only thing he wanted to do at school was give his treat bag. But, he was still upset when he woke up in an empty house that he texted his mom asking her why she didn't wake him up. She responded with she, too, had woken up late for work, and seeing Wonwoo's bedroom light turned off, assumed that he had already left for school. So, he got ready for school and started walking, just in time for Lunch. When he got there, he ran into Jun who told him that Mingyu was curious as to where the other was, and Wonwoo could find him in the stairway near the cafeteria. Wonwoo was holding the treat bag in his hand and started walking towards the staircase, a skip of happiness in his step. Before he turns the corner, he sees 2 shadows and a female voice saying,

"Mingyu-ah, Happy Valentine's Day"

Wonwoo could see from the shadows that she was extending her arms towards his boyfriend, offering a gift of somesort. Wonwoo chose to peek into the platform they were standing on, to see a beautiful girl giving Mingyu a box of expensive chocolates. The Class President quickly retreats to his cover of the corner, and looks at the treat bag in his hand. The chocolate and cookies didn't look perfect, they looked homemade and filled with love. But, appearance wise, his chocolates couldn't compare to a professional, expensive box which probably had delectable taste. Wonwoo started to frown slightly, thinking if Mingyu accepts that box, then he'll be slightly disappointed when he receives Wonwoo's. Then, he hears his boyfriend say,

"Ah, thank you, but I can't accept these."

"Eh~? Why not? It's Valentine's Day, and Wonwoo isn't even here. C'mon, please?" the female replied, making Wonwoo slightly irritated

"I'm allergic to chocolate, so accepting these would just be a waste. Thank you, though. Give it to someone else!"

Mingyu said as he walked away, and started turning the corner where Wonwoo was. Panicked, Wonwoo tried to run so that it didn't look to obvious that he was eavesdropping, but didn't get too far when Mingyu turned the corner, mumbling,

"That's like the 4th lie I've told today, where the Hell is Wonwoo." 

The couple made eye contact, and a huge smile spread across Mingyu's face,

"Wonwoo-ah!" he said, and before Wonwoo could react Mingyu pulled him into a hug, and kissed him on the lips. The way Mingyu was so excited made it seem like they hadn't seen each other in forever, and surprised Wonwoo. After their quick connection of affection, Mingyu quickly grabbed Wonwoo by his wrist and started running, half-whispering and half-speaking, 

"Let's go! She might see us" he said, referring to the girl he just rejected and lied to. 

As they were running, Wonwoo said

"I thought you weren't allergic to anything,"

Mingyu, who was infront, now holding Wonwoo's hand, turned around with a childish smile,

"I'm not" 

Wonwoo smiled back and continued running down the hall, gripping his treat bag slightly tighter with happiness. The couple made their way down the hall, and eventually in an empty staircase where they stopped and caught their breaths. When they managed to slow their heart rates to a reasonable pace and were able to breath without making a loud gasping, Mingyu began talking, slipping his hands into his pockets.

"Happy Valentine's Day, babe" he said, closing in on Wonwoo. Their faces got closer together, and soon their lips met and shared an intimate kiss, conveying and reconfirming their feelings for each other. 

"Happy Valentine's Day" Wonwoo said, smiling into their kiss, and making Mingyu smile in response.

"Yah! Where were you?" Mingyu said after they finally pulled their faces away 

"I slept in! I went to be really late last night, making-"

"Making me that?" Mingyu said with a cute smile as he gestured towards the treat bag in Wonwoo's hand.

Wonwoo pouted and looked away,

"N-No, I just felt like sleeping." 

"You know, after dating you for 4 months, you still manage to give me butterflies. You're so freakin' cute," Mingyu said as he scrunched his scrunched his nose and grit his teeth, trying not to squeeze the life out of Wonwoo right then and there. 

"S-stop being so lame!" Wonwoo said as he covered his extremely red face with the treat bag.

Mingyu stood back, his hands still in his pockets as he looked at his boyfriend, smiling and content.

"Here," Wonwoo said, extended the bag to the taller, but before Mingyu accepted it, he noticed the Band-Aids on Wonwoo's hand, and immediately rolled up his sleeve, inspecting his minor injuries. Wonwoo looked at the concerned latter as he gently rotated his hands, looking at the various cuts and minor burns. Mingyu took both of Wonwoo's hands and brought them up to his lips and kissed them, making Wonwoo blush again,

"They're nothing, I was just clumsy while baking" Wonwoo assured

Mingyu continued holding Wonwoo's milky white hands that were now tainted with a few wounds, and Mingyu said,

"I should be the only one getting injuries on their hands... I'm the delinquent, not you, remember?" 

"I got hurt while baking" Wonwoo argued, but then smiled at his boyfriend's words.

Mingyu smiled too, and then finally accepted the goodie bag, and inspected it. The bag was tied off with a red ribbon with a tag attached that read

From: Your amazing boyfriend

The taller laughed at the tag, and Wonwoo smiled at his boyfriend's reaction. Mingyu then proceeded to carefully untie the ribbon, and began unravelling the bag, revealing it's contents. Inside were chocolates shaped as stars, and others as hearts. There were also several sugar cookies that had chocolate writings and designs on them. On the cookies, there were little messages such as "I love you, Kim Mingyu!" or, "Thanks for your jacket", and "You're a loser yet a rebel. Weird." and Mingyu's personal favourite, "I'll always be here for you.". On other cookies, there were chocolate drawings of Mingyu's favourite constellations, and to top the whole Valentine's Day gift off, there was a fondant rose, with a chocolate ring around its stem. The ring a replica of what Wonwoo wore on his pinky, and Mingyu on his necklace. Mingyu stared at the gift he had just received and smiled, uncontrollably, and hugged Wonwoo and didn't let go for a good 5 minutes. 

"Yah~ you're too amazing... Are you sure I'm your first boyfriend?" Mingyu said, and Wonwoo smiled,

"You're one to talk, Mr. Plan out the Perfect Christmas," he replied, and Mingyu wrapped his hands around his waist, laughing.

Mingyu kissed Wonwoo on the cheek,

"Thanks, babe. Happy Valentine's Day"

Wonwoo smiled and replied,

"Happy Valentine's Day."

The couple spent the rest of their lunch together, just cuddling while sitting on the staircase, and talking to each other. The rest of the school day went by quickly, but both couple were impatient, all 4 boys just wanting to school to end so they can spend time with their significant other, not surrounded by students. When the end of the day school bell rang, students filed out of the school, couples holding hands and the more attractive boys and girls holding bags of chocolate. While walking, Wonwoo wondered how many chocolates Mingyu had rejected, and felt insanely happy that he accepted his, even though he was his boyfriend. Wonwoo and Mingyu both went to their separate homes, while Minghao and Jun walked to Minghao's house together to have their own little at-home date. The other couple, however, went home to change because Wonwoo was determined to not execute the plans he had devised in their uniforms. On the way home, Mingyu bought a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, 2 actually, and went to a card shop, and bought a sweet Valentine's Day card. After purchasing his items, the tall male stood at another counter and began filling out the card, and as he did so, girls passed by whispering,

"His girlfriend is so lucky," and "He's so attractive! I wish I was his girlfriend" 

Mingyu then made his way home, 2 bouquets in hand, and cards in the other. He entered his house and found his mom in the kitchen, he gave his mom the bouquet and kissed her on the forehead and gave her a sweet hug and signed

Happy Valentine's Day, Mom. I love you,

His mom smiled, and signed back

Thank you, Mingyu-ah. Now, go get ready for your date with Wonwoo!

Mingyu laughed and kissed her on the forehead again, then went upstairs to his room to get ready. He wore something semi-formal, not too casual, but he wore nice black dress pants which conformed to his long legs. He paired it with a button up denim top that had a white collar, and cuffed sleeves. He slicked his hair up and to the side, and made his way down the stairs. As he was leaving, he put on some Vans, and grabbed the bouquet and card and "said" bye to his mom, then began making his way to him and Wonwoo's agreed meet-up place, the base. 

Meanwhile, Wonwoo was getting ready aswell, dressing just as well as his boyfriend. The couple may be mismatched and opposites, but both boys knew how to dress well and more often than not, looked attractive and impressed each other and random go by-ers. The couple met up, and Mingyu presented him with a bouquet and very thoughtful, and sweet card that made Wonwoo want to cry out of happiness and appreciation. Then, after having a meal together, which Mingyu paid for while Wonwoo was at the washroom, causing Wonwoo to be upset, they started walking.

"I wanted to plan everything today!"

"And you did! Doesn't mean you have to pay for us eating," Mingyu said.

"But-,"

"Shh. Stop complaining, you're going to ruin our perfect day." the taller said, and Wonwoo accepted his boyfriend's kind gesture.

They continued walking as the sun began to set, casting shadows and hues of orange on buildings as they walked by, hand in hand. Incidentally, Wonwoo was wearing the red jacket whose sleeves were too long, and went over his hand as he held his boyfriend's. They stopped for a minute, when Wonwoo took something out of his pocket, 

"Babe, come here, bend down a bit," he said.

Mingyu followed his request and brought himself closer to Wonwoo's level, 

"Closer your eyes,"

Mingyu gave a suspicious look but then did as he was told. puckering his lips which Wonwoo kissed and then, proceeded to put a blindfold on his boyfriend.

"Yah, yah Wonwoo, what're you doing?" 

"Just trust me, I want to take you somewhere, but I want it to be a surprise."

Mingyu attempted to take off the blindfold to which Wonwoo said,

"C'mon, babe. You trusted me on the bridge... Do you not trust me anymore?" Wonwoo said, poutly cutely for emphasis although Mingyu couldn't see. But he knew his boyfriend well enough, and could tell by the tone of his voice what he was doing,

"Stop pouting. Okay, let's go then." Mingyu finally consented as he stopped moving around and let Wonwoo put on the blindfold peacefully, and then took his hand and started guiding him through town. It took a few minutes but they ended up entering a building, Mingyu hearing Wonwoo open a door, and their footsteps changed from the sound of concrete to tile floors. Then, they stood still for a couple of minutes, then commenced walking again. Wonwoo guided the taller through the building, and they entered another door, and warned,

"Careful, there's stairs, they're not steep though."

Mingyu still minded his step, careful not to trip, and Wonwoo guided him slowly in the same concern. They got to a platform of some sort and then started manuvering their way through a row of seats and Mingyu assumed that they were going to watch a movie. The couple settled into their seats and Wonwoo finally took of the blindfold, revealing a familiar place that wasn't a theatre, but a star-gazing auditorium. Just like their first date, the couple settled down, reclining their seats all the way and looking up at the ceiling. By now, Wonwoo could also identify some stars, using his boyfriend's chest as a pillow as both of the pointed up at the ceiling and walls. They laid there together, there were other couples and people around, but Wonwoo and Mingyu were in their own little world. They remained there for a few hours, and by the time they were leaving, it was fairly dark outside. Being the man he was, Mingyu decided to walk Wonwoo home as usual. They were walking, and then Mingyu left to go to the washroom, and Wonwoo waited patiently out on the street as his boyfriend went into a cafe and politely asked to use their washroom. While waiting, a couple of boys started walking towards the waiting male, and Wonwoo recognized one of them. It was the guy with scar on his face from the camping trip, and he was walking right towards him

"Hey there, darling! Alone on Valentine's Day?" the husky voice said.

Wonwoo chose to ignore it, and just stared at the cafe through the window, silently pleading his boyfriend to hurrry up.

"C'mon, I'll give you some candy and chocolate" the voice said again. Wonwoo dismissed it,

"How 'bout it, princess?", he started chuckling, "Although, it won't be as sweet as you,"

Wonwoo was going to scream but his boyfriend's cold voice interrupted the situation,

"It definitely won't be as sweet as punching you in the face." Mingyu came to Wonwoo's side, "Don't you agree, Sungwon?"

"He-hey," Sungwon was still laughing, "Don't leave such a pretty thing unattended. You'll never know when someone might snatch him up.... Just a friendly warning."

Mingyu swiftly took Wonwoo by the wrist, and started walking him home. On the way, they didn't mention what had just happened, both agreeing to just leave it was it was, and be grateful nothing more happened. On Wonwoo's porch, the couple shared a kiss and stared into each other's eyes for while. Mingyu's arms wrapped around Wonwoo's waist, while the shorter had his arms wrapped around his boyfriend's neck.

"I know I've said this countless times, but I love you." Wonwoo said, smiling. Wonwoo stared into his boyfriend's eyes,

"I love you too." the taller replied

They shared one last brief kiss and then before entering the house, exchanged the words

"Happy Valentine's Day."
