His pov

Her eyes were shining bright despite who she was now. And my heart was beating so fast that she could probably hear it. But somehow I didn’t care. The only thing I was interested in at that moment was her surprised, confused yet pretty face. We stared at each other till she broke this silence.

“We… We should go back. It’s getting colder.”

“Oh, really? I’m quite hot though,” I said and noticed her shocked expression. “I mean, I’m hot from running,” I said quickly and rubbed back of my neck.

“Ah, I see. But still… let’s go back,” she said and started walking. What’s wrong with me? What exactly am I doing? Why am I like this? I hope it’s not what I think it is.

We came back to the apartment. The smell of food hit my nose.

“Fried chicken!” I shouted and run to the living room.

“Hey, where have you been?” Baekhyun asked me.

“On a small trip,” I said took a food.

“Trip? You didn’t say you were going.”

“He did,” said Xiumin. “But you were still sleeping.”

“Was I?”

“Did you enjoy the trip, Kai?” Xiumin asked and smiled.

“Yes, it was… nice.” Mostly sad, but the end was… great.

“Shouldn’t we order one more time? Chicken Maniac came and there’s not much left,” Chanyeol complained.

“That’s a great idea, Chan,” I said and smiled.

There was a short silence when no one wanted to call and order.

“Just give me the phone you little….” said Suho in the end and we chuckled.

We were watching TV after dinner. Sehun had remover so at first we were just looking at changing programs.

“You. Don’t. Really. Mean. It,” started Baekhyun.

“Not again,” I said to myself.

“Just give it to me!” Baekhyun shouted.

“I’m looking for something!”

“No, you’re not!”

I looked at Suho who was sitting on the sofa right next to Sehun. He noticed and just shook his head.

“I just don’t have an energy for this right now.”

“Yeah,” we all said together.
