"Min Hee."

"Here."    "Tae Sun."    "Here."   "Ae Yeon."    "Here."   "Kyungsoo."   "Here."   "Jongin."   No response.   The teacher looked up from her roster with an irritated look at the boy she knew was present.   "Kim Jongin." She raised her voice waiting for his response.    Aya looked at her best friend and grimaced seeing his head fast asleep on the desk sounding light snores. "Kai!" She softly yelled kicking his chair.    Kai snorted awake from the force and shot up from his seat. "Here!" He saluted. Aya and Park Ssem rolled their eyes while the rest of the class lightly chuckled.    "Sit down Jongin." Park Ssem ordered him with a sigh.    Kai sat back down with a playful smile before the tiredness took back over and made him yawn. Kai stretched out his arm to ease his body and playfully rubbed his hand all over Aya's face.    "Aish!" She hissed and slapped his hand away. "You're messing up my makeup!!" Aya whined immediately getting her small compact mirror out of her bag. She flipped the black make up took open and checked all over her face.   "You're not wearing any though." Kai yawned again while laying his head back down on the desk but this time making it face his friend.    "That means I did a good job then." Aya grinned with a wink before she put the mirror away.    "I heard we're getting a new student soon." D.O, Aya and Kai's other best friend said when he turned his seat around to face his friends.    "Ooo really??" Aya beamed. She always loved seeing new students in the school. It was kind adding another person to the family. Each person had their own story and she loved getting to know their story and their personality.    "Yeah. I don't know anything about them though." D.O. added.   "Let's hope it's a hot girl then." Kai chuckled with D.O. while Aya once again rolled her eyes, something she often did with these two bingus.    "I hope they're nice." Aya dreamed.    "You hope everyone's nice." Kai pointed as as a matter-of-factly.    Aya shot him a look. "And what's wrong with that?" She piercingly asked.   "Nothing nothing. Sheesh calm down Mom." Kai rolled his eyes at her.   Aya would have fought harder if the teacher hadn't told them to start paying attention. The three dispersed their conversation and took out their books, not like Kai would actually look at it though.    Kai would usually gaze out the window, just wondering what adventures he could go on next. Last week he found this abandoned cottage house filled with broken dishes and rusty beds. A little scary he would admit, but so much more fascinating. It was surrounded by trees that had overgrown into the windows and had a family of rabbits living there with birds nests all over. He wondered what it's story was. He wondered what kind of people used to live there and why it was abandoned.   He had so many questions and no answers, but one thing was for sure: he wasn't gonna get his answers sitting and staring at a damn math book.

Kai   "And after the great Joseon Dynasty came to an end..." And blah blah blah. I've heard this speech so many times before! We get it! King takes over, King dies, prince becomes king, King takes over and on and on and on. They teach the same damn thing every year! You know what we should be leaning about?    They should teach about space and life and death. But nooooooo. We have to learn ing polynomials and how you can't just factor it out, you have to show all of your work because if not, death be upon you!    Man, school is so stupid. Actually, no.    Life is stupid.    Listen to this: the second you're born, you're being told what to do. From ages 0-4, you're being taught to walk, talk, and how to act like a normal human being (a.k.a. Conform to society and live a quiet life without any fun because God forbid someone actually has fun in their life.) Then, for the next 13 years, we're being forced to sit in a school building and learn things that we'll probably forget the next day because it's the law! Yay!   Not.   And then, most people go to school for another 4+ only to spend the rest of their lives in a stuffy office taking calls for a job we hate.    And if you don't go to college, there's something wrong with you and you'll most likely end up homeless of dead.   Pretty nice right?    The way I see it, life it too short to spend in a ratty old building with people you probably don't even know the names of.    People should be put exploring the world, discovering new things and plainly, just living.    This world has put so much stress on work and school and money that no one knows what fun is anymore. And frankly, I'm so sick and tired of it.    I may or may not get anywhere in life, but I sure as hell know that I'm gonna do it while having fun. I'm not gonna slow down just because it's not normal. Just because not everyone does it. Screw society, I'm my own man and I'll decide how my life turns out.    -BRRINNNNGGG-   Thank GOD. This class is so boring. I never thought I would hate a class as much I do this one. I shove my book in my bag, not really caring if it gets ruined and swing my bag over my shoulder.    Aya grabs the other strap and forces it on my shoulder as I sigh and groan. If I didn't love her as much as I do, I would've probably cut her off a long time ago.    "You didn't pay attention again, did you?" She asks as we and D.O. walk out.    "Do I ever?" I snorted at her which earns me and eye roll. We walk to our lockers and as Aya carefully puts her stuff in, neatly and on stacks, Soo and I kinda just throw our bags in. Kyungsoo's definitely not as turned off by school as I am, but he understands me. Which is one of the main reasons why I can call him my best friend. He sees what I see, but he can't deny that although it , school is still important in life. I get what he's saying, but I just hate the so much.    Aya on the other hand is an angel in school. All the teachers love her, all the students love her, and I'm pretty sure be class pet that hates everyone even likes her. Aya just has that aura that you can't help but like. She's friendly and nice and had this laugh that makes you smile because it's just so contagious. And to me, she's perfect in every way possible, but I would never admit that to her.    But outside of school, she's exactly like me. While I tend to get tired after 3 or 4 hours of adventuring, Aya could go all night. She's fearless and strong and doesn't take from anyone.    Which is why we always get into trouble outside of school.    But these two goons that I call my friends, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. They're all I've got (aside from my beautiful girlfriend), and I'm proud of it.       "What's for lunch today?" D.O. asks as we begin to walk down to the cafeteria.   "I think
