Tired of waiting
Good RiddanceTaecyeon was been trying his best to balance his time as an idol, actor, a friend, a son, a brother and Jessica’s suitor. It has been 10 months since he confessed to her.
“Wait, What did you say?” Tiffany’s eyes grew bigger shocked upon what Taecyeon said to her.
“I’m giving up on her.”
“Why? I mean what happened?”
“She’s bipolar.” Tiffany chuckled while Taecyeon rolled his eyes and sighed.
“One day she’s okay and acts like she feels the same way about me, the next day she's like a different person. Sometimes, whenever I fetch her from your schedules, she won’t even look at me in the eye and talk to me… I really don’t know now. Is she really like that?”
“I don’t know. But from what I can see she likes you though.”
“But I can’t really feel or see that she does. Sometimes I feel like I just annoy her. There was this one time when you guys had a fan signing near the location of my drama and it happened that my parts were finished earlier than expected, I waited for 2 hours for your event to be done since she told me that she wanted to eat out, but after 2 hours of waiting she didn’t even say a simple hello or even acknowledge that I waited for her. She just texted me that she lost her appetite and wants to go home already. I waited 2 hours for nothing. I haven’t even gotten some sleep because I wanted to be with her. I did not ate my lunch because she said she wanted to eat out. I just wasted 2 freaking hours for nothing.” Tiffany felt sad for her friend. As an idol, Tiffany knew how precious every minute is two them, idols are often sleep-deprived. She knew that Taecyeon is a patient man, rarely does he complain even if she herself is acting really annoying but hearing Taecyeon’s stories she can really feel the sincerity that Taecyeon feels towards Jessica.
“You really like her do you?”
“Ofcourse, I would not sacrifice so much if I didn’t feel that way.”
“Then, continue what you are doing.”
“I don’t know Tiff, I feel like I’m just wasting my time chasing after her.”
Tiffany didn’t say anything but just let out a loud sigh, she knew her friend was frustrated,
Jessica, you’ve found a man who’s sincere about his feelings for you. Who’s willing to sacrifice for you, the kind of man that you have been waiting for but what are you doing!
Taec?
~Jessica
Hey there, are you busy?
~Jessica
Are you okay?
~Jessica
“Arggh!”
“Whoa, what’s with that sound?” Tiffany asked as she heard the grunting sound Jessica made and scanned the room just to find Jessica lying on her bed, with her face facing the pillows and with her phone beside her. Jessica then turned to Tiffany with a worried expression on her face.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Tiffany said as she consoled her friend who was now sitting at the edge of the bed with her phone still on her hands.
“I have sent like 8 texts to Taec and he still hasn’t replied to a single one yet.”
Tiffany rubbed the back of Jessica and stayed silent.
“And… and I think it’s my fault.”
“Ha! You think?” Tiffany said in a sarcastic tone.
Jessica looked at her with a confused expression. “Did he tell you something?”
“Well, I had lunch with him.”
“And?”
“Yeah, you’re right. He’s kind off… uhmmm… how do I say this?”
“What?” Jessica raised her voice.
“Whoa. Calm down there.”
“Sorry but can you please continue”
“He’s kind of tired… tired of waiting.”
“What have I done.”
