The phone rang and vibrated violently on the table, and SoRa rushed over to it in a hurry. When she saw an unknown number on the screen, she hesitated. It stopped ringing and SoRa sighed. She figured it was pointless to pick up anyway since she will not be able to hear the other person. 

She was about to turn around to go back to the kitchen, when the phone rang again. It was the same number. Thinking it was important, she picked it up.

"Hello?" she said.

"                                  " Of course, she could not hear a word the other person was saying. Still, she can feel that the person was in a hurry and was desperate.

"Um, I am deaf, and I cannot hear you.... Would you please leave a message or send me a text so that I understand?" she suggested politely. After what she thought was a sigh, the call ended. "Hello? Hello?" she repeated, and pulled the phone away to find the screen indicating that the person had hung up.

SoRa sighed in disappointment, but snapped out of it immediately. Something very gloomy spread in her chest, making her worried and helpless. She sent a text to JiYong.

"JiYong-ah, do you have time right now? I think it's important."

DaeSung blinked, looking suriously at his boss. Why was he so interested in SoRa? Just then, the door to the store opened, and JiYong entered. DaeSung and SeoNam turned their heads in JiYong's direction.

"GD-sshi!!!" DaeSung exclaimed, excited about the rare customer. JiYong smiled. "How can I help you today?"

"Long time no see, DaeSung-sshi," he greeted. He then bowed to SeoNam. "Actually, I stopped by to tell you about SeungHyun. He might not be here tomorrow... He's having a hard time right now, and I hope you can understand," JiYong explained.

DaeSung and SeoNam looked at each other, and then back to JiYong. "Thank you for the information, JiYong-sshi," SeoNam bowed.

Before JiYong could reply, his phone rang, and he took it out to see a message from SoRa. When he read it, his expression tightened and he focused on his phone.

"Yeah, what's up?" he texted back.

"This number xxx-xxx-xxxx called two times, and it sounded pretty desperate.... I told them that I couldn't hear so send me a message, but they just hung up," SoRa replied.

"Did you contact SeungHyun?" JiYong asked.

"No... I think he's still with his parents..." she answered.

"Alright, hold on. I'll call this number to see what they wanted," he said.

"Thank you," she thanked.

JiYong dialed the number and waited for the person to pick up. When they did, it sounded very chaotic.

"Hello, I am Kwon JiYong and I'm calling on behalf of Yoon SoRa. Is there a problem?" JiYong said, trying to stay calm.

As he listened to the other person, his expression dropped. Blood escaped from his face, and it felt as though his heart would stop. The call ended very shortly after they said what they had to say, and his phone slipped from his hands. It crashed onto the floor, with a big clang sound.

"JiYong-sshi? Are you okay?" SeoNam and DaeSung asked, looking into JiYong's face.

"SeungHyun got in an accident..... He's in the emergency room right now....." JiYong said, with no power in his voice. DaeSung and SeoNam froze, trying to comprehend the words.

"SoRa......." JiYong mumbled. "SoRa.... I need to go get her. I need to take her to the hospital," he said, his eyes lost in thought.

"Hold on," SeoNam stopped. He put his hand on JiYong's shoulder and looked straight at him. "You can't possibly go anywhere like this. I'll drive you and SoRa there. DaeSung-ah, lock the door behind us," he said in a hurry.

They all rushed out of the store, DaeSung making sure to lock the door, and got onto SeoNam's car. They headed toward SoRa's apartment, unable to imagine how she will react to this tragity.
